- Revisiting The Royal Enfield Bullet
Most motorcycles become bygones, but a chosen few become icons. The Royal Enfield Bullet 350 is a legend with a legacy spanning nine decades. This is a tribute to its incredible story and the story of generations of riders who have chosen it as their companion for everything from wars to weddings. A tribute to the machine that has become a gleaming symbol of resilience in design, engineering and culture. A motorcycle with an enduring legacy that continues to make our hearts pound, ninety glorious years later.

I almost teared up watching this. I am so proud to be a Royal Enfield owner. 40,000 miles / 64,000km and still going strong. They are dependable no matter what model you have. I wish I could thank EVERY Royal Enfield employee. 🥓🏍🏕
That's wonderful.. so glad you love your Royal Enfield- we have grown up with the Enfield Bullet 350 in our family history they have put our Mum (Winifred Wells) in this corporate promotion- Gordon May, the historian, who is narrating, kept it as a surprise for Linda and myself when we were invited to attend the Royal Enfield bullet launch at Melbourne, Australia, february 8.. we burst into spontaneous applause & tears of happiness when we saw her on the big screen 💖 he said he had been dying to tell us prior, but didn't want to spoil the surprise🎉
@@artistictemperament Dear Susan, I am so honored that you took your time to reply in such a heartfelt way. I had to watch the video again to see your Mum. You must be so proud and I sense from your reply that she is very proud of you. I raised my daughter to know that she can do anything she wants, that she doesn't need a man to do things for her. One reason I am proud to be a Royal Enfield owner is the way they promote female riders. I've met Bree Poland their first female executive, and have met all the women riders of the flat track & road race teams that Royal Enfield sponsors. Your reply is very moving for me and I am going to save this exchange. My Royal Enfield enriches my life in two ways. The places I go, and the people I meet whether in person or via UA-cam. I tip my hat to your Mum and most sincerely thank you. Roger Bacon 🥓🏍🏕
I felt honored today when I received a notification that Royal Enfield had Pinned my comment from 6 months ago. That may seem silly but I'm proud. I've just been winding my way through the Pennsylvania and New York hills in the USA with a smile on my face the whole way, 47,000mi/75,000km now.
I love my Royal Enfield.
Of course I had to watch the video again and paused to see your Mum and in awe of her accomplishment 5 years before I was born. What an amazing person, but then I don't need to tell you that. Feel bad I didn't comment to you immediately. I did share your comment with loved ones close to me, son, daughter, and such. I have to say I feel a kinship with you and your Mum through our love of Royal Enfield, which is much more than fine crafted metal. It's a burning flame, a passion to be free, if only for the time we are one with the machine, we are free.
Love to your Mum, and you.
…and I actually teared up and still do writing these lines. I started riding a motorcycle five years ago at the age of 50 after having bought the only valid successor of the Royal Enfield Taurus Diesel, the Sommer Diesel 462 a couple of months before without even owning a motorcycle driver‘s license. A true Royal Enfield Taurus Diesel followed three months later, both Diesel motorcycles still being the crown juwels in my still growing collection of special motorcycles. Two weeks ago I collected my third Royal Enfield, a ‘96 Bullet 500 turned into a Machismo in former called Bombay, now called Mumbai, and shipped to Germany in a sea container - all accompanying paperwork still being existent and making it’s way into my hands 🤩 I‘m so glad having bought these motorcycles and I‘m truely proud from the bottom of my heart of being an an active part of the family of Royal Enfield enthusiasts and evangelists in Germany - owing special thanks to Siddharta Lal for saving Royal Enfield from closing doors and turning it into the world’s oldest and now largest motorcycle manufacturer 😍
I own a bullet 350 ES - 2023 and buying it is the best decision I've ever made , it never fails to put a smile on my face . ❤
Yes....but only love the one with LHS brake.
It's a sports bike.Bullet standard 350 with only kich start is the real deal.
Wish the BULLET STANDARD 500 comes back. Also the OLD monogram and logo pleaseee.
Same here
Can't forget the Kickstart bruh
Exactly dude...I really want Royal Enfield 500's with
J- series engine
@@prashantsinghchauhan3687it's just a niche market product. They won't spend their R&D and production assembly for just some customers.
j series framework can't accommodate a 500 cc engine, sorry to pour cold water on your dreams
I own a 1964 G2 Bullet and this video almost made me cry!
classic. im looking for a g2
Old is gold
Excellent video, very well done! And as a new owner of a RE Meteor 350, it gives me a sense of pride to be part of such a rich tradition. I've owned several different brands of motorcycles, and none of them have had the charisma and spirit of my Meteor.
Royal Enfield is the best example to show how good a brand can be , and how greatly it can ruin itself with the after sales services
Yes even tvs xl owners gets better respect and after sales then royal enfield
I couldn't agree more so!
This must be a problem in India
Royal Enfield is best because of original English dna.
Royal Enfield is not the best. In India people purchase it only as a status symbol but by Western standards it is dirt cheap. I own a Himalayan and I know that the only reason Royal Enfield makes good bikes, not the best, but good is because they are manufactured in India by Indians who understand rough road conditions unlike the whites. The ubiquitous hero and bajaj bikes can beat any RE hands down in terms of performance, maintenance, and price for quality statistics.
The bullet sounds like heart beat ❤
Jo " SATISFACTION " isey chalakar milta hai.... Wo baat kisi or mein nhi hai.. Mere paas "Classic-350/2017" Ki hai.. ❤❤❤this Bike
This made my day, i have a fractured leg for now but its tempting me to ride my Classic Chrome 500 UCE! Beautiful rich history of royal enfield, cheers and long live Royal Enfield!❤
Get well soon bro
If u hurt ur leg due to back kick....then u have something to learn yet.
I owned a Seminal Engine Marsh Grey 500 bullet for 11 months. 2 months it was in service centre and had a very bad experience with the bike. I wanted to own a bike I could grow old with. Sadly, it wasn't this bike. But I'm kinda glad with revival of this bike with J series engine. I hope there is a 500 around the corner.
RE bikes are utter ch*tiyas. bc always some issues starts after just 4-5 months of buying. some weird noises starts coming from breaks, or gearbox and their service center never claims it under warranty and tries to srugg it off.
@@amazingdude9042j series is reliable

I love my Royal Enfield. Thank you ALL.
The new J platform bullet needs old tail light design no one recognize it from back due to its classic 350 tail light 💯💯
My battle green classic 500 is the most fun on two wheels for the money. Found it online last summer for cheap in excellent condition with 1300 miles, seller had problems with shifting...fixed with a couple of stacked washers to steady the shifter shaft in the fork. Problem solved! Now I have a bike that gets over 50mpg, gets great comments from onlookers, and is just plain fun to ride! My BMW R1200 gets me there in speed and comfort. The Classic 500 gets me there smiling. I've owned a lot of motorcycles and this one is just truly special and I feel I can ride it into my later years as it's so easy to handle.
An excellent marque thankfully saved by the Indians and their thoroughly commendable need for common-sense machines while the West obsessed over speed and power.
Thank you! I couldn't be more pleased to see RE doing so well thanks to our Indian friends.
At the hospital I work at, there is just one person who rides a royal enfield meteor 350 to work. Ive seen RE motorcycles on trailers getting pulled by lifted pickups down the highway.. but seeing my co-worker's motorcycle up close in person and being allowed to swing a leg over it and hear it's exhaust note immediately made me fall in love with Royal Enfield motorcycles. I mostly commute the 40 miles to work via highway, however i look forward to getting my bullet at the end of the year (hopefully) and taking a 30 minute longer commute to work on slower roads.
Very informative video by royal enfield. Miss 2005 to 2010 old standard model in this video. Bullet humari jaan hai. I have 2007 model standard 350 and classic350 gun metal 2018 model both are great and love u bullet.
Credit where credit is due...england was the father providing the seed and india is the mother of RE bullet, that nurtured and loved it immensely ...and we cant be prouder of our baby thats winning the hearts and minds of the whole world !!
Dude that sounds really vulgar.., I think u got a bit carried away with flowing emotions..
@haritmohansaxena732 lol .. thats english for you .. was just stating the obvious minus the vulgarity .. with was nither intentional or intended :))
@@sandeepsandhu4286 You could have gone with the garden and tree analogy here, this whole seed and womb analogy is hitting me very hard personally, especially after how they really f*cked us over... 🤪
But i get your intentions though, just disliking the choice of words at the moment...
@haritmohansaxena732 LOL my bad bud lol
You have taught me a lot watching this. Thankyou! Last week I bought a Scram 411...Superb!
Old is diamond ❤
Hence the LEGEND was reborn❤
Such a beautifully made video! ❤
My father still owns RE Bullet 350 1982 model
We need chrome edition on bullet 350.
Bcoz it's a pure vintage look
Now u go for classic 350 for chrome.. Anyway both looks and feels identical now..
Proud owner of new bullet 350.
Riding a legacy ❤❤
Simplemente hermosa, algún día cumpliré el sueño de tenerla.
Royal Enfield is love ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
The new 350 will never replace my 500 EFI. But when you think about it, circa 1934, twin port head, four valves. You could argue that we are still waiting for the company to catch up.
9:13 the humming is beautiful
If a brand has an iconic product, they always place it as their expensive and product. Jeep Wrangler, VW Beetle, Land Rover Discovery etc. But RE is defferent here, they are Known for their Bullet model (in fact most people call every product from RE as Bullet, even hunter and Himalayan). But they place it as their least expensive product.
We want Kickstart back.
My bullet is 24 years old....and very glad it's so nice then modern craps....
Never had any issues.
3 things you should not change in bullet no matter what the time is
1st is kick in engine
2nd is the old sit
3rd is that old rectangular tail light
Royal Enfield has castrated The Bullet by taking away -the kick in favour of unreliable starter. The fun was in the decompression and then kickstarting the motorcycle. It was an art that only the owner or experienced could do.
Pick one
Five seconds of kick start or hours of smooth ride
@@dv9239 kick
Pls start again old design standard bullet....
Haters keep crying but one thing you have to accept RE makes beasts which no one can defeat.
Great video! ❤
Same engine form 1947 to 2008 woow royal enfield ❤
Beautiful ❤
Best bike ever!
please make a 500
650 cc on the way launching next year
@@Jeevanjoseph1578 nice, but if so will not be a single cylinder 😪
Ja chce 350 classic !
super film !
Why still 350 cc? Why not 500cc? Also why not tubeless tires as an accessory?
due to indian conditions of traffic and cheaper running costs , 350 sells more, 500 is loss making
@huntervlog-kx2eb it would sell in the US
And in Europe also@@kevincraig8257
@@kevincraig8257 they are testing their 650 cc parallel twin on standard and classic bullets that's will be launching on next year
Petition to bring back Bullet standard 500
I am really luck in this world becoz today I am owner of my Bullet 350 Marsh Grey🎉🎉🎉❤❤
I love my Bullet.
Fan , but could not afford it(as of now)
You will, some day. I was one like you, I am receiving my delivery Military black today.
After many years of dreaming owning one, buying with my own earning.
My first bike i had the electra red. Sold it now have interceptor 650 baker express
Can we install Indori silencer in the new Bullet 350 or will it affect the engine or its performance?
goosebumps
RE, the LEGEND of Bullet, and the PUBLIC deserve a modernized 500cc single Bullet again !!! That is RE, and that is BULLET. We need exact same classic lines, but with fuel injection, electronic ignition, electronic starter w/ kickstarter as backup, air+oil cooled, around 40hp and not too heavy. That is the bike I will open my wallet for. The 350 or 650 twins do not interest me.
40 bhp from a liquid cooled 500cc will be a short stroke engine, will never be a bullet. Harley from long stroke 440cc makes less than 28bhp. For more HP, this engine will have to rev higher.
@@SuperImbadude you're right, 40 is probably too many from air-cooled 500cc single. But who cares what Indian HD makes? Don't forget HD only cares about image and profit, not technical specs or technical excellence, hoping it's customers only care about image. Every reputable brand does better than HD.
The subtitle needs correction, Enfield was taken over by "EICHER Motors" not aisha
it's auto generated by voice to text and eicher is not typical vocabulary word hence algorithm input it as a name spoken and wrote aisha.
❤❤❤
How is new Standard Bullet 350 for Leh Ladakh?
Dug dug dug dug ❤
How could he forget 2018-23 model bullet 😢
Re-launch the kick-start variant too.... It's the only thing preventing me from buying new variants
A kick is mostly redundant & useless piece of machinary - that adds extra weight and eats up space, i don't think they will bring it back...
@@haritmohansaxena732 useless? Bro, it's the part which makes you believe your bike would start even in extreme cold weather or even if battery is dead..... When the bike is kept unused for long period of time, self start doesn't perform usually......
@@_wakanda_forever No - No, i just meant that bikes have become more reliable over the years..., fuel injected bikes do start in a cold weather, It's the carburated ones that don't start..., Companies make these decisions voluntarily only..., It actually isn't required anymore. And as for starting after a really long time, kick might help but i am pretty sure u would need to take it to a mechanic anyways for all the different reasons (checking your battery for example), So in this case also..., i believe juice is not worth the squeeze...
Also , if battery's dead then i don't think that even the kick would work..., because for petrol engines u need the spark plug to ignite the mixture, unlike a diesel one...
But i get the aesthetic appeal of the kick though..., but as far as engineering is concerned - it is redundant today.
PS - Sorry i got carried away... 🤓
Waiting for 650 std bullet ❤
Bullet battalion black should have old rear mudguard (2022 bullet mudguard)
As so many owners of REs are come from BHARAT so one of the version of this video should be in HINDI so it would become easier for everyone here to understand it.
No most of them are from India not Bharat
Im from india and i hate name changes
@@SJ_new ❤️
Kindly introduce bullet Tubeless option and gear position indicator
Where can you get that Bullet tee shirt??
The story was good . But the company has stopped working on the spare parts of the old bullet stand. A model is causing a big problem for the owner. Even they have stopped the exhaust pipe and exhaust. I wish that the royal Enfield should see on this. And make it old product running to keep the name.
"Without losing it's essential DNA..."
Does not come with a kick starter.
Royal Enfield its Royal and loyal bike
EV and AI should be introduce in 2024. Oil Vehicles are obsolete nowadays. People are even introducing flying vehicles. Best is atleast distilled water engines . That is draw back of Indian company they are less innovating.
Where is this place??
Incomplete without the kick lever😢
Ride my bullet almost daily. Old Iron barrel bullet 500 chopper. 👍
I felt it in me.
Did you too ?

New model of bullet 350 standard is not good looking as old standard 350 😭
Why did you change the seat , it spoiled the look it had before 😭😭
please bring the Bullet 500 it is really fun to drive motorcycle. we have already 4-5 motorcycles in twins platform. please bring the Bullet 500 with a new 500 engine platform because Bullet will the best in 500cc not in twins platform. As you have done with new 350 J-series platform please do something to make new 500cc platform which will be only meant for classic 500 and the Bullet 500
please make a 1920s style bike
,🙏
yes one US manufacturer still nakes those 1920 style bikes
ACORDA ROYAL BRASIL!!!!

Does there ABS in reborn? And if then why it doesn’t come with ABS in reborn in Nepal
Bring some new colours scheme in classic series.
😢
Can you please add the kick to new bullets it is not giving that old vibe
Interest video, a great bike with a great history. Wish they would change the seat it is ugly.
classic has other seat it's the same bike with looks you'd like and for the bullet this is signature seat and it's an acquired taste.
Sorry to say that but now bullet has lost its charm the new 2023 standard bullet doesn't look like bullet😢
The only reason I don't own a Bullet is because I just bought an Interceptor :)
Service for RE -0💔
i dont like 2024 standerd without kicker and former proud sound
I think you are getting a bit over-excited . This new bike is just a Classic 359 Reborn with a couple of minor cosmetic changes.
The way you are talking you would think you had invented the wheel...

Today many don't want to associate themselves to this lovely bike because of loud modifications and the quality of people who ride it.
