I was thinking about the poor Abbey of Kings. People used it a few times at the start and then it went the way of the dodo because the Council Hall was just SO MUCH better. That landmark needs a buff like making the king stronger or make him like the Khan, he spawns for free when you make the landmark and respawns after a while for free when he dies.
Would love to see the meinwerk in outback octagon! Since knights rule oo the extra buff could be great + you can afford to send some prelates to your farms after killing a opponent
so, before the start of the season, i ran this same strat, just not the right way. i was close but was trying to do 2nd tc, now i know, one base with archers. THANKS bee!!
There is no drama in my mind. I didn't agree with the Octagon ruling. I stated my opinion. I was happy to see the ruling changed. Now, it's in the past, and I'm here to enjoy the consistent, high-quality content from one of my favorite rts casters
Hey I don't think you needed to adress the controversy anymore. I like how bee drags his starting sheep towards his tc. I get that pros have to be up to date on 10 civs, but some small things that us non professional players do mind don't really take that much brain power and pros can go for them. I also think HRE's winrate would skyocket if people were not that much against ranged units. It's a civ that you go holy shit when you read its bonuses.
One thing with the farms is that if you run a test to see if mills on all four sides and mills on one sides efficiency, and its close to the same frequency. Walk time is surprisingly low, which is why wheelbarrows like a 1-5% upgrade depending on the villager task. Not to call it insignificant, but, there is an insane upper limit on how much we invest in limiting walk time and its barely better then slightly worse then average efficiency. There is a reason why in some high level games we have seen economy building disasters that don't matter too much in the grand scheme of things.
crossbow spear isn't the right choice vs knight archer. It's more of a neutral composition against it. A better choice against knight archer would be spear knight or mango/horsemen knight.
Just nice to see for once an top lvl HRE game usinge the Meinwerk. It just sad, that in general the aachen is still better for fudal agression or basicly anything you want to do, a better eco evens out the tempo bonus the meinwerk provides and the unique techs as nice as it is to have them are not impacfull enouph to realy justify the strong eco bonus the Aachen provides.
Yes but that's 150 on a blacksmith you save with Meinwerk, might be the difference in getting enough archers out quickly vs Council Hall (plus upgrades are both cheaper and faster in MW - would be more than a minute delay.
Meinwerk has a unique upgrade that gives +2 melee armor to Horsemen and Spearmen. You'll need them against MAA and their own Horsemen. English just didn't build them this game in Feudal, going for fast Castle instead. Though they saved Bee when English got to Castle, and they bought enough time to reach Castle as well.
@@kunstderfugue Drongo said he would do AoE3 and AoE4 Content, but he never did. Just very sad, that he made this promise and defended it very harshly but never fulfilled it.
knights, knights, KNIGHTS! loueMT only died because he didn't make knights on hitting castle. he could have knocked down bee's archer and horseman army easy with knights, and taken the initiative. He also could have gone with a mangonel, but never did! Just never ever had the right comp, despite playing beautifully economically and strategically.
I enjoy watching a lot of pro players, but watching Bee is always super exciting coz he always does unique strats on ladder :)

That and wider area of influence whilst in/out of combat.
And I think it needs to heal units while in combat not just out of combat with a ridiculous cool down 🙄
Mongols can do it, why can't the English?

Great build by Bee. Really played to the HRE's strength, they have the fastest archers in the game and can outbow the English, who would have thought!

It feels so weird to see HRE making archers lol
Ikr...its not even their speciality 😂😂
they have fast archers like Ottoman but this felt more like a specialized Anti-English build
But Archers on HRE make so much sense! They counter typical HRE counters, i dont know why we dont see them more often
At least all unit lines are viable, unlike in AoE2
Is it possible it was to bait oppo to not make spears?
Well said, this is a game to have fun so let’s keep having a good time
I love how 3D palyers always shake things up

Bee's relic collecting game is on point
ya live and ya learn, I think you guys handled it well. Lets goo for more plays !
Drongo Bingo:
WATCH OUT WATCH OUT WATCH OUT
Stuck between a rock and a hard place
having a field day
Goes the way of the dodo
Bit of an interesting match up!
slowly but steadily

oof ye I'm convinced HRE always has been hidden over powered.
well played by Bee!

Love HRE! Its a fun team to play
Good morning here.
I wouldn't worry or think about it anymore man, about the drama stuff, it's already addressed and it's over.
Bee is soo creative!!! others are kinda boring to watch because they only play meta
Just in time so I can watch then straight into outback octagon
He lost it when he failed to outpace the meinwerk palace HRE economy.
I used to do this! If you make burgrave, the opp will have a tough time to react
Bee steps up this game

I call this the Prelate Printer build.
What a weird game... HRE spams archers and English spams MAA...
playing the uno reverse with the english, lol.
English specialise in maa too but I get what you mean

hows your game quality so clear what settings do you run them on
i wonder if this build still works with aachen built on woodline - would be ~ 1 minute slower on upgrades but does that matter?

Can you make a video about the best and stylish city builders?
damn interesting
Those are weird looking chad at arms. So, do they throw their swords?-average HRE player here.
Aparently with survive feudal age against english the rest is easy

BARKsheere palace
Hmmm, i wonder when the next AoE3 video comes out? After all there was supposed to be a balanced mix...
I don't know what you mean. At least in this channel there has been only aoe4 content for like a year. Maybe drogo has anorher channel fpr aoe3?
Aoe3 is the worst, pathing and handling cannons is a hell on its own
if you want AOE 3 go play aoe 3 lmao

@@drstoneftw6084 Nobody forces you to play it. If you dont have fun with it, i am just sorry for you missing out on this incredible game...
So weird that he just left his trebs unprotected
loueMT just throwing away units/scouts for no reason, not even any ranged armor upgrades
i knew steel barding and regnits was strong
@age of noob
