I have one question: I follow the steps just like your video... Everything works (indicators, text box displaying a value, a text box to set a value) but I don't get a button to work. Everything is on the same screen.
The connection is set and I'm using the plc tags. Tried press (set bit) and release (reset bit) events, click event with invert bit. But nothing works. It only beeps when pressed but nothing happens on plc.

Hi, It seems your problem is related to buttons on the HMI screen.
First, Please check your connection. start a simple project from the first with new tags (Maybe you defined a tag for different purposes inside the HMI). a simple project can be to use one button on the HMI to turn on a PLC output. Note that, you can not change digital input addresses. You can use buttons on the HMI, only to change memory addresses like M10.2 .

Thanks a lot for these tutorials. I am greatly learning from them them each day. Please sir< could you help me with more insights about the differences between a Stop and an Emergency buttons?
    Thanks a lot sir

Hello. thanks for watching our videos.
note that, you can use a normally close or normally open pushbutton to stop a process, but because of some safety reasons, usually normally close pushbuttons are used. so, both emergency and stop pushbuttons are normally closed. but if you press an emergency button, it will keep its state, until to ensure the emergency state has been removed, and after that, the operator returns the emergency button to its initial state manually. as you know, if you press and then release a stop pushbutton, it will back to its normal state immediately
