It always takes a while for us and our tanks and fishrooms to find our strides... and when we do, and things look AWESOME, then we hope something goes wrong somewhere so we'll have something to do. I look at all my planted tanks and think, wow - they all look great! I am bored... lol... Plants grow like CRAZY in my water, though, so I always look forward to trimming, which is quite a (pleasant and relaxing) task for every tank... :)
Luv where you are going with the fish room! For the bottom of the racks (the feet) you should look into Rustoleum plastic paint. The protection value surpasses any normal use paints.
You've been a inspiration to me I love your content and everything you do! I'm starting a channel and just order a bunch of stuff to start my first fish room! Thank you so much for everything you have done! God Bless and Much Love! ✌️
Ryo, the new stands look good. Much more streamlined. That former guppy tank looks like what I went through with a previous project. There doesn't appear to be enough light on it so your limnophilia sessiflora is sending all energy to the canopy / new growth and rotting underneath simply because there isn't enough light down there. There also isn't enough flow in that scape. I also found that if I did a proper aquascape, my sponge filter didn't provide enough water movement. When you re-do it, try to do a hill, from low foreground to mid background, and plant your stems into the high background. That'll remove the need for stronger lighting as the current lighting will still be strong enough to power your stems since they're so much closer to the light source. Some decent sized HOB filters that could sit between the back of the tanks and those windows would solve both your filtration problem and your flow problem - only talking about the properly scaped setups of course. Also, in your grow-out planted tank, if your guppies start breeding, throw some of your fry in that tank. They'll keep your spare plants pristine! Tank on
You need to do a home improvement channel. From someone who has used power tools for a living you did an awesome job first go with a circular saw. The stands came out well. Awesome vid. Take care brother.
I understand this perfectly.. I know I started off with a single tank and I just kept adding and adding.. I'm trying to get a new rack system so I can get everything together and uniform ♥️ I can't wait to see you keep growing and following your journey!! Notching your boards did look satisfying now I want to try 😂🤣you did an amazing job and it was very inspiring!! Thanks for sharing Ryo, hope you had a very blessed day!!🙏🌿🐟🌿💚
Thank you so much 😊 yeah, this hobby makes us want to expand and get more things at a fast rate but it’s important to take our time and properly think things through..
Very cool building your own racks! Much better looking than the metal! I was thinking of building my own tank stand! Great content and looking forward to the next video!
For the flora plants in the back you can try planting them in slightly deeper substrate! This helped me out when mine were withering away. Also, when I wasnt doing my 30% bi-weekly water changes I noticed them begin to fall apart as well. They say theyre easy plants but nothing comes easy when dealing with planted tanks from what Ive learned :) I hope this helps! Keep up the great work!
Yes, that’s the popular and quite common rummy nose tetra. My rummy nose rasbora (sawbwa resplendens) are quite hard to find. Still trying to look for more
Ryo, you’re giving Joey King of DIY a run for his money! I love the stands and know what you mean about striving for perfection. Don’t be hard on yourself, things are looking great. Can’t wait to see what’s next. Take care.
If I can judge properly, the bare stems on those bushy rear tank plants (at 0:46) have simply dropped the leaves due to lack of light in shaded areas. The tops of those plants, exposed to full light are growing and look fine. Just rearrange the tank to allow light into those areas and trim off the bare stem sections prior to replanting. Those are high light plants. Can't grow them in dark rear shading.
In the guppy tank, I bet the melting plants need more light( being blocked by wood) and the Anubis is in too bright a light. My two cents 🤷♀️ looking good though!
I think that’s one of my fav videos in this channel... There is so much work in it! Well done Rio~ I hope the garage will one day be exactly as you imagine it to be💙💙 (is the surprise fish an Betta fish?🙈😂)
The new stands look good, nice work, wow I've never seen asain rummy nose rasboras before, they will look great in the.newly scaped tank, awesome work man
The plants needs nutrients because there's no waste due to there being no fish to create the waste. Add liquid fertilizers and root tabs to help the plants.
Hey Ryo! How do you get the Burmese rummynose to colour up like that? I’ve got 6 of them for about 2 weeks now but they haven’t really showed much colour yet
Was hoping for some more content on those tyres. Also, when the tyres are on rims, doesn't that make it wheels? Or does it need to include a hub for that to apply? Someone fill me in plz.
@@RyoWatanabee Well do what's best for you Sorry it was kinda a selfish request How about using that rack to store other things Your garage is kinda mess
It’s time to make this fish room look good! Time to beautify it a little bit and set up some neat aquariums. Thank you for watching :)
Congrats on 80k subs
Were there any specific plans for this stand? If so could you link then.
i could listen to Ryo say 'plants' all day
Just noticed your family owns a Honda Beat. That's really awesome.

Looks great brother.
I enjoy watching your progress and honest videos.
loving the new stands much better then the other 1s
I like the way your racks/ stands came out. They look very solid and more ascetic. Keep up the good work.
Great job!
Those rummynose really are beautiful. Would love to see a more in-depth species profile on them.
I wish I could hang out with you. You'd be a cool friend! I really like that shelf design!
Yo congrats on the new stands, they look great. You rule, I really appreciate your videos.
classic, I just bought some rummy nose today. 5 in total but here is Australia they bracket them as a tetra & yes they are marvellous

Awesome job on the wood stands, the stain looks beautiful
Looks great! Can’t wait for the guppy tank
Ryo, I really love the way you make these videos in such an honest and friendly way. Keep up the good work my friend!
Love the honda in the background!
sooo much better than metal racks... gives that warmth and cozy feeling... bravo! :)
Good work as always. It is very satisfying to do a correction project and have it turn out well.😎👍

Finally figured out the name of this stem plant thanks to you. Limnophila sessiliflora . I think it's trying to flower above water
Awesome! Glad I could help :)
Great job! Diy carpentry is the best
Looking really good! Love the homemade stands over the metal ones.
"I have to stop talking cause it's cold and I don't like the cold" :) thumbs up for you, great work.
The tire and aquarium stand looks really good Ryo, it’s almost like a fancy tire shop!
This week I built a double 55 gallon stand , I’m keeping 2 ten gallons at the top and 1 55 at the bottom . 😁😄
In the guppy tank, I bet the melting plants need more light( being blocked by wood) and the Anubis is in too bright a light. My two cents 🤷♀️ looking good though!
Look much better good job 👍
Your uncle is not wrong with his advice LOL...the racks turned out great, Ryo!
Good results, Ryo.
Thank you Nori-san :)
That Beat is dope!
Asian rummynose are beautiful fish! I never see them here, though.

00:48 Enunciation on point bro!
This was a great video Bud.
excellent aquariums greetings friend 👍😍
Fantastic video! This should be very helpfulm when I remake my shrimp rack.. Can I ask what dimensions of timber you used for these aquarium racks?
I really like the way u did up the wood shelf, great job. Have u tried Platy Fish?, very colourful fish too
Good stuff bro....Stay Safe....Hoorah!!
Always fun to see What Ryos up to
nice one well done good luck
You want to be a perfect perfectionist, i feel ya bro.

Ryo u should get a flowerhorn, it would be awesome.
Ryo are the fiberglass tanks with viewing panels available in Japan? Those are lighter and easy to shift around if you are going into bigger fish.
Love this channel!
I think you would enjoy some neocardinia in those planted tanks
Yes, definitely hoping to get some colorful shrimp in these tanks someday :)
There’s no such thing as the “right tools” just the tools you have and the tools you want.
You could paint the metal rack...
That Honda beat tho 👀
Regards from indonesian subscriber🙏
Great video, got a lot done and the new stands look really nice. Also this video made me really miss 7/11 in Japan lol.
Possibly the plants are using all there energy trying to get closer to the light maybe this is why it’s leggy thoughts?
Good move bud. That garage/fishroom was hurting
So much happening mate, but I know we are all dying to see the new ADA display you were setting up.
Nice 2 by 4's. I can"t find wood like that here in Bangkok. Fish yes and most plants. we have. The hobby is alive and well here. No so in USA.
Guppies are gonna explode in numbers and cannot be contained 😂
I love your tank setups 😍
The swinging of the camera continuously just to show the tank and the stand while you speak and make reference to them has major room for improvement.
Hi bro I love your video especially your guppy tank setup
Loved the video keep up the good work,
I already liked now I'm looking forward to that light XD
Hey Ryo! How do you get the Burmese rummynose to colour up like that? I’ve got 6 of them for about 2 weeks now but they haven’t really showed much colour yet
It takes time. I’ve had these for 10 months now. Just started to color up last week.
They also do better with harder water in my experience
Theres never a plan with this hobby lol we just do it
no plan = lots of wasted money and rework in the future
@@cjclaeys4368 yeah so what, aquariums are a luxury and rearranging stuff is fun
Was hoping for some more content on those tyres.

I like waching some tank professional in your chanel. You can do it!
Those racks look really good. Love the storage underneath. Do you do commissions?
You’re cool Ryo
Add a 5ft tank to the metal stand and make it a monster tank
Give a thought
A 5ft tank unfortunately doesn’t fit. Really unlucky with the sizing of the metal rack.
@@RyoWatanabee Well do what's best for you
Sorry it was kinda a selfish request
How about using that rack to store other things
Your garage is kinda mess
Anubias do well in cold temperatures and low light... Put some frogbit or duckweed
Im wondering how old is Ryo
18 I think
Same
He's 27. Asians look 10 yrs younger.
Ryo?
Ryo is 22 years old you guys lol
"I'm not a perfectionist, just 99.9999% there". 😛
When will you show your 120 cm ADA tank ??
