Nice review , very detailed and informative !!! I have small issues with chambers , can not fully deflated once I am done with session ...do you maybe know what can be the reason and solution for that ??? How to deflate the chambers ???
I just found your channel and it is incredible! Have you tested any of the hip attachments, from any of the brands? I have pretty tight hip flexors and I’m really interested in that attachment and nobody has one!
Thank you for the video review! I have two questions for you. First, there are a few negative reviews on Amazon for this product in regard to poor quality of the hose and control unit gives up, what do you know about this problem, are they common? Second, could you please do a video on the hip attachment? I'm looking for something can work on the hip and lower back, but not sure if the hip attachment works on both areas. The last is a comment that Normatec 2.0 warrantee is only one year now instead of two years.
A few points from my experience: -Zone boost is the only way to get to 110 mm of pressure so only works on one zone -You can use plugged in which is probably best if your just using at home near an outlet. Less wear on the battery as rechargable batteries only have a limited number of charge cycles -other then uploading to strava I found the app kind of useless and annoying. Mostly cause it's hard to multi task in the phone as it doesn't seem to reestablish a connection easily when switching back to the app
What exactly does that mean zone boost is the only way to get to 110mm of pressure? ... is that the only setting that provides relief / a suitable "massage"?.... TY
Thanks for this video and your channel as well. I was afraid that one I started researching this product that I'd come across a lot of paid and sponsored reviews. I hope to find this on sale sometime as well. -A young guy with knee problems.

I use it on my clients in my lash extension business. These reviews are great! I came here actually looking for help on the Hyperice go and cancelled my order after watching ur rebiew. Am I better off buying the reg Hypervolt or plus? Or is there another brand comparable u recommend?
I'm thinking of buying NormaTech as they are on sale and I've wanted to get a pair. Just a couple of questions that I hope you can help me with. Is your's the 2.0 or the Pro 2.0? Do you know the difference between the 2.0 and the Pro 2.0? Finally, have you tried the hip system - I ask because the 2.0 leg and hip is the same price (on-sale) as the Pro 2.0 Legs. Hope to hear back from you soon as I'm hoping to get one within the next few days.
Have you also tried Air Relax? Does the pressure amount in the Normatecs come close to the Air Relax? Going by specs, they imply that Normatecs only go up to about half of the max pressure of air relax....
I have tried air relax and you are correct on the pressure. Personally I don’t very often go anywhere past 120mmHg because the pressure becomes uncomfortable. For me, there’s a lot more to consider than just pressure.
FYI to all. Normatec 2.0 blows. I purchased despite all of the many negative reviews. And welp, THEY WERE RIGHT! 3 damn days of use before I started getting constant ERROR messages with the pump itself. Gets better, then it has tendency to get stuck pumping in 1 zone. This is going back ASAP!

Hi, very nice video. For cycling recovery what do you think will be the best investment option boots or the gum massage? And which model you recommend? thanks.
If I had to pick only one I would say the boots but if possible I would recommend spending more on boots and then pick up a more affordable massage gun as well. They do very different things.
Thanks for the review. Question: From someone who gets a regular deep tissue massage, my old legs feel brand new and ready for long run. Does the Normatec gives that same “brand new” feeling as well? Thanks in advance sir.
From my individual experience I get that feeling immediately after use (10-15 min after or so) and then it tends to fade a bit but feel that I wake up the next day with my legs feeling fresher than if I didn’t use them.
@@tommyprice8275 I rarely do simply because it’s not as comfortable for me. It will depend on fit of the boots, personal preference and comfort level. Example, someone with skinnier legs would potentially have to go to a higher setting to feel the same thing as someone with thicker legs.
Can you sleep with this. I remember having my appendix remove and I was stuck in the hospital for a couple of days and they had me on something that was compressing my legs.
@@BestMassageTech thank you for your response. I'm also 5'9". I ordered this model after watching most of your videos. It should arrive tomorrow. Very excited about it. Thank you for your great reviews 😊
hello I bought normatec 2.0 . When It‘s adding air to one area, it doesn’t add it all the way in at once, but add it in and out repeatedly taking more then 5min for 1cycle . Is this normal?
Yes that is normal. Normatec does a “pre-fill” before it actually starts fully pressurizing. I’m guessing after that initial 5 min cycle each cycle is faster after that?
I think they could be very beneficial for anyone provided a comfortable pressure setting is selected. The popularity of these is rooted in the medical field for lymphatic conditions and post surgical inflammation so in theory seems like something that would help with knee issues. That being said, I’m not a doctor or therapist and always encourage anyone asking those types of questions to consult a professional.
There are more affordable brands out there. Air Relax is the least expensive brand that I would endorse and recommend though. They just had a BF sale at around $430 out the door. I did a comparison of Air Relax vs Normatec many moons ago when Normatec was closer to $1900. If you are curious how they compare check out this older but still relevant review. Otherwise probably the best time to pick up Normatec right now price-wise and they hold their value well. www.thomasgerlach.com/2016/08/normatec-vs-air-relax-recovery-boots.html
Thanks for posting this video! Have you used the Normatec Pro 2.0? If so, what are the differences? Is the Pro 2.0 worth the added $$? Thanks so much in advance. Have a blessed day!!

My legs are obviously very weak and sore. I was wondering if this would help me rebuild my legs now that I am finally getting better. Please let me know!
Don't think this has to be used strictly by athletes. The origin of these products is in the medical field to assist with lymphatic, blood flow, and circulatory issues. The squeezing of the boots helps to mimic contraction of your muscles so I do think they could be beneficial for you. I would consult a doctor though!
Pro can work on a specific part of your leg like thighs, ankles, knees, feet and calves its more used for doctors and therapy offices. Made for big athletes with specific leg problems
