Just want to acknowledge I’ve seen the handful of videos where Osights haven’t held up as well as mine. I posted a follow up video with drop testing so I could address those concerns. If this unit were to fail, I’d want people to know (hence the follow up video). I can only speak for my unit, and report data and results objectively. It’s insane to me how many people are upset my unit has not failed (yet) and automatically assume I’m lying or have been paid to falsify results. If you don’t like Olight gear, then don’t buy it. It’s simple guys.
Yep. I didn’t know what my expectations were.. but I was definitely impressed, and so was my buddy who shot through this and is used to his Trijicon SRO
I only put 300 rounds through this as stated. I said 300 rounds is “barely scratching the surface” for reliability testing. But that video has definitely prompted me to do a torture test to see if the results are repeatable.
It's a sample of one. Doesn't mean the whole product line is trash. Any brand RDS can have one bad unit that slips through QC or perhaps gets damaged during shipping.
@@ecobasetech4558 agreed, but I can’t stress enough that I get sent junk fairly often. If it sucks, it simply doesn’t make the channel. This one I was sent honestly didn’t have issues for me. I will beat it up and see if the results are similar to his. I’m just trying to put out good info
So if the osight is RMR cut how did you put it on the 320 slide? Is that Slide specifically cut for RMR? Because most 320 slides are cut for the delta point pro footprint
So it attached to the other screw holes without an adapter plate? All the information online I can find says you need an adapter plate. I checked my slide and I also have two sets of screw holes
@@4MRRanch I get it. Don’t knock it till you try it but I used to be a big olight fan. Personally, most of my olight products failed overtime. The osight seems to be a good value at $150 so it would probably be a good optic for a beginner to try out. The market is competitive and this product might make a splash. However, I hate to sound elitist but I expect more from a micro red dot for my purposes so I’m willing to invest a little more from more reputable brands.
Think what you want. I didn’t have issues but as stated only put 300 rounds through my unit. I’m aware of some reviews stating their units didn’t hold zero. All I can speak to is my sample size of one at a round count of 300
Just seeing this comment. Not sure why you need to spam all my videos. I get thousands of comments and can only sift through so many. First off, I missed your initial comment, I didn’t realize it was a question and read it as an accusatory statement of “this is a paid review”. As addressed in the other lovely comments you’ve been leaving me, this was not a paid review. 75 bucks worth of 9mm ammo was covered in support of me testing this optic. The rest of the ammo costs was on my dime. I don’t accept payment for reviews. Don’t do this full time so don’t need to, but if ammo is provided to test gear then I shoot those rounds to test the gear. Integrity is a huge priority for me, hence why I took the time to do a second video on this optic in response to concerns these don’t hold zero when dropped. In an effort to cover a potential concern, therefore I drop tested my unit. Mine appears to work. Don’t know what else to say. Doesn’t mean it’s staged or I was bribed to magically make it pass a drop test..

Wildest product release of the month

@@4MRRanchDesk Pop’s video shows what the Osight actually is compared to even Holosun.
You should watch Desk Pop’s video about Osight. Losing zero way too easy.

Didn’t the UA-cam Community decide DeskPop was a Fed? His review was solid, though.

Must ppl don’t beat they optics or drop guns I take them test as folks trying to make some something fail
I like how they didn’t slap “OLIGHT” on the side in white letters like Holosun did.
Yeah, I’m not a fan of bright logos
Fantastic review, thank you.
Durability test coming very soon
Ohshight
I think i just want the mount hardware screw container lol. Need that for my other optics.
Lol! 😂
Fair enough lol

My 320 has 2 sets of holes.

I did not need an adapter plate
What footprint does it use??? Not sure if you said it and I missed it or not….
Pretty sure it’s RMR.
Verified. RMR
footprint? sorry if I hadn't catch in video
Rmr
Oh brother…
I had the same thoughts, so did my buddy. We both looked through it and our expressions changed. I believe his words were “why is it so clear?!”

Mounting footprint?
RMR
@@4MRRanch Cool. Good choice.
Seen two reviews, that lost zero.
Wasn’t the case for my unit, but will be doing a follow up soonish that I’m a little more rough on it
@@4MRRanch Will be interested in seeing how things go.
That charger is gimmicky at best.
Yeah I don’t see the appeal personally
Why to put a red dot in this p 320? Whit plate?
Will not hold zero tape it on the side glass very bad junk
tape?
All I have to say is ewwwwwww.
To each their own! I have both “top tier” and budget gear. I try to represent both on the channel.
Hope they say the same to that holo comp

@4MRRanch I'll take your non answer as YES. That's fine. Just tell your viewers it's a paid review
