I busted their OG model 2 different ways, first the printed mount (I machined a proper aluminum version) then the VCSEL wiring failed. THe replaced it with the current version with Arisaka drip and it's been great since.
I’m not skeptical of their unit, but I only have one and it’s on my primary gun. I don’t want to abuse that baby because I’d be really sad to lose it. If I had the budget for a second one, I’d be game. But I’m not quite there yet
New sub here fantastic quality and attention to detail. Will be using your videos in future as I get more into NVGs. One question I had when watching your groupings after drop test, are you speeding up that footage? It seems fast for something as specific as checking a POI shift. The laser was dancing a bit prior to shot going off and wondering if you’d shoot a bit more accurately if you shot a little slower?
This was in real time. I can try and slow it down a bit, but keep in mind using a laser to aim won’t be super “precise” and this is more of a reference data point.
You might have answered and I missed it, what's the parasitic draw on the battery when the unit is off? I have a MAWl and have to change the battery every month regardless of use. I have two Holosun LS321s which I leave turned on to Hi Vis laser, and unless I actually activate the laser no draw. I actually just replaced the factory battery after 3 years ( I don't do a lot of night shooting). So curious to how long the battery will last with the unit powered down
I just checked my MAWL after about 5 months... (front rotating switch was set to off) Battery works. But I have an led ACOG that has parisitic drain like that but shouldn't. Annoys the hell out of me.
LEO/SWAT doesn’t make much and many buy their own gear, as it’s often better than what’s issued. Just so long as it’s department approved. I remember being shocked at seeing the local LEO’s all running Holosuns on their duty guns. RMR’s were approved but Holosuns were simply cheaper for them.
From the sound of it, it sounds like you’re (hopefully) willing to put out negative information as well if something doesn’t perform well seeing as it could lead to someone making a decision on a life saving device, which is good I remember you saying before you didn’t like to do that but I think it’s very important.

Wake up babe, new 4MR video dropped.
Don’t tell her the morning wood wasn’t for her..
Looks like a pretty decent unit
Hard to beat for the money. Nothing is perfect, but this thing didn’t cut corners on build quality
Bro you're always putting out such informative content. Keep up the great work!
I appreciate that! More to come.
Thanks for running another test for us. Keep it up!
Thanks, will do!
Thanks for the follow up testing.
It was highly requested, happy to do it
WOW! Excellent test for those that are looking into something like this. Great footage and explanation.
Thank you very much!
He did it. The madman actually did it.
This is the way. BRAVO.
Peer pressure is helluva drug
Haha works every time. Thanks for listening!
Thank you for giving me a peace of mind for my unit
🙏🏽💙
That was the whole goal here
Do a torture test on the 3EIR Designate IR-V 👀

I’ve had good luck with mine, its a good bang for your buck

Good review, brother
Thanks for watching
Great video as always. Looking forward to the MH1 review.
You and me both! Love it so far.
Great re-review.
Glad you enjoyed it
So technically...the Sig did worse in the test than the laser. 😂😂😂
Yep lol
Well said, sir.
Appreciate it

Great review, but i have to ask, at 175⁰, how often should i flip my ir laser?
Every 10 mins, gotta keep the bake even
Nice testing dude
Thanks for taking the time to watch

I swap batteries too often to give a good answer. Sorry man
No prob, appreciate your work

I got the gen 1 m6 and the gen 2, ive been super happy with them, especially considering i got them for seven fifty. Out preforms full powered peq 15.
Laserspeed is absolutely underrated. I just hope they don’t get a big head and ruin it for themselves.
Just got mine and it’s been super solid. Way better than any somogear
Not even in the same ballpark
I visited laserspeed site and the most expensive model they have is FP version (full power). I wonder if FP and TR version are the same endurance wise
I would imagine the only difference is the diodes
Looking forward to the NV content
A TON being filmed now
Thanks bro
You’re welcome
Do you know If they are planning on making any changes to the FL5? Id love an all in one unit.
There's a small set of contacts under the batter cap that suggest future m6tr models could have a light there.
@@TheMsdos25 someone else mentioned that on a subreddit I saw, that’s interesting. Def wanna see what they do with that.
I’m guessing a light module for the M6TR is coming
@@4MRRanch sweet!
Why the hell would police/swat officers be looking at Laserspeeds? Can't they buy full power DBALs and PEQs for not much more?
Even if self funded they can get pro deals.

Budget cuts
Lack of funding. Lots of rookie cops only making $30-40k. Dropping $2k on a laser vs 1.1k is a big difference on a tight budget
This.
Quality testing for the PLA.
Unfortunately.. but if Americans are relying on it, I’m happy to do my part to see if it’s junk
Listen, if you really think the US government work for us, you're wrong. The chinese can have my money on this one
Is this fp unit? Im interested in this bad boy
Yes. Check out the full review from a few weeks ago. I demo and compare the output

Yep, I have a very negative lam review coming soon.
Laserspeed is so hot right now
Just wait for the next couple laser reviews 👀
