This is a fantastic review. I bought the 6L but returned it for many of the issues you’ve identified here. The main reason for the return was that I found it impossible to get my R6 in and out of the bag easily. It’s disappointing to hear I’ll probably have the same issues with the 10L given my lenses are not pancakes. The laptop compartment being so constrained is also a big negative. Last of all comfort sucked. I couldn’t fit more than my camera and a second lens into the 6L and the thin strap meant it felt very heavy on my shoulder. The 10L will just add weight to a bad situation.
i tested the photocross and the peakdesign, and while the photocross seemed like it was better design its not the case. It's deep with top pockets which take the space, so the depth doesn't matter. Peak design pockets dont get in the way. Its also smaller. Finally the strap is just as comfy as the peak design - i expected it would be much more comfortable but thats just not the case. At the end of the day I would get the peakdesign. Lastly 10L is pretty large for a sling, so no matter what you will feel the weight after a while. I like their smaller sling because of this.
While I love Peak Design, the 10L Sling's storage slot really does not accommodate my 2018 iPad Pro 12.9" even with only an Apple folio cover on it. Also once the iPad is in the bag, my Fujifilm XPro-3 with a prime F/2.0 lens does not fit well (not matter how I position it). In fact I'm a bit concerned that the iPad is going to get damaged by the camera with any small lens mounted. Therefore, I've only been using it without the iPad. I agree I should have gone with the smaller sling, and forego bringing along the iPad.
Greetings Mr. Chang. Thanks for your honest review of the PD ES 10L V2. I just came across this person's experience with the same PD ES 10L V2 but in black. For him, his shoulders felt so much strain after walking for 30min. with it every time while carrying 3kg weight on average inside for the last 6 months. :( I really want something with carpet-like comfort that would stay on my left shoulder for hours and if possible, all day. Are you feeling the same with your shoulder? I'm actually contemplating on either getting the PD 10L V2 bag or this one: ua-cam.com/video/ZGu-xHxoVqA/v-deo.html (The Moment Rugged Sling). Common problem with the Moment 10L is that due to some weight distribution issue with it, its bottom corner tends to poke one's lower back which can be discomforting or annoying. In your humble opinion, even without testing the Moment bag (ua-cam.com/video/Ili_fWi_ojM/v-deo.html), I was wondering if its "wider/thicker" shoulder strap plus its "stabiliy" strap feature (7:31--refer to the last link) would help minimize the strain over your shoulder? Hoping to get your immediate response asap as I need to decide before Black Friday discounts end. Thank you.
Great review! I wish I found your channel earlier! Such a comprehensive, fair and thorough review! Great job!
Came here for the Peak Design bag and now more interested in the Greenroom Metromonger. 😉😁

Which travel bag? From Peak design.
This bag can put another brand 13" laptop (like dell latitude series) without flexflod partition or not ?
What about the 6 L? Works better for street photography?
great review, i was sitting on the fence but this help me decide not to get one. Thanks
