It’s 2024 and I’m in search of new bags, so I stumbled on this video. I really like the bags, but I like the presenter more. She is so nerdy about bags, I love it!
@@MultiThatguy7 just as cringe as the other male presenters who geek out on their well designed bags and have been doing so for a long time. do you go on the other peak design videos and call the men cringe for doing the same thing? doubtful.
From Japan. Thanks to your warm consideration, I received my new Everyday Sling bag. I am amazed at how wonderfully it has evolved. I wanted to know what the new suggestions were, so I watched the video. It is fun and entertaining and I am laughing so hard. I wholeheartedly support your staff. Thank you!
In case anyone is wondering, the 3L fits a FujiFilm X100V (with the vented lens shade attached) very nicely. The divider/shelf holds both conversion lenses,
I love this review cause it covers all the 3 bag sizes and not only shows the storage of photography equipment but also the everyday things for those of us that ain't photographers. I am mainly aiming to purchase this bag for my travels.
Listening to Zona is like listening to a good friend nerd out on her latest purchase. In both cases, I simultaneously listen while ordering the thing. My 15L zip backpack hasn’t even arrived yet and I’m already adding this 6L to my “want to purchase“ list.
Just received the 3L for my Sony A6000 w. Sigma 30mm 1.4f. The bag feels bigger than expected, great news - quality feels mint. Looking forward to use and abuse it! Awesome video, thanks!
I got the 3L for the Canon R6 and it fits just fine and it's also my everyday bag for work and it fits anything I need it too. I removed the divider and I swear it's an endless void space
Just received my 6L bag in Midnight….🤩 the appearance, design, and versatility of the bag.. can not wait to use it on my upcoming travel…Zona you are so much fun and gave me plenty of chuckles.. you made what could have been a dry topic clear, informative and entertaining!
I bought 3 peak design bags. I love how as soon as you put your hands on it you know it's designed with great attention to detail. This bags give me the same felling as playing with Transformers as a kid.
As soon as I put my hands on the bag, all I felt is how the outside material scraped off the top layer of my dermis that got imprinted as a semi-permanent stain on the front of the bag. It's got a rigid shell, sure, but there are cheaper bags that are designed way better for actual camera use without such glaring problems, e.g. Moment Rugged Camera Sling.
I'm just thankful that you are making all these great products - you guys just seem to get what photographers want and need more than other companies. Also I really like the metal parts on your stuff, it just feels better and more durable than plastics. Gonna get the 3L for sure (and probably a Capture Clip) :)
I just got my 10L, which I ordered specifically for the Sony 200-600 mm lens. The lens is a monster (huge), but fits perfectly in the 10L. While there is room at the top for a body, I normally carry that in an everyday backpack or externally using the clip. There is room in the bag for a couple of tele extenders, filters and more. Under the bag using the straps I can store a portable camouflage tent blind. The main use of this bag is to protect the big lens whether out on the road on on my shelf at home. Because there is room for the super large filters required by this beast of a lens, using the bag also for storage of everything related to his lens is ideal, as everything I need for this lens is kept together in one go-bag.
Thank you, I got the 3L and I just realised how to propoerly use the divider and found out that I can carry not just 1 but 2 extra lenses on top of my camera and its mounted lens. The bag is great !
Welcome to The Zona Show.! Love your show. Love you. Definitely love the nails. The bags not bad either. Getting the 6lL for me & 10L for the better half. Ladies tend to have more stuuf than they require..ha! Thanks for sharing. Greetings from C.I.
I found that i can pass one zipper head across the ring of the other zipper and that makes really really secure the bag, something specially important in the place where I live...
I love her! She has explained everything, and peppered the whole thing with those goofy jokes. Why I haven’t watched this video first? It is the best! I mean, I get, it just bag review, nut you should seem be getting bored and yawning when I was trying to figure which size should I get watching other videos on UA-cam. 😂
@@peakdesignvideo Hy! Why can't you use the 10 liter as fany pack? Is it just because of the weight, or it's because of the physical design of the strap?
I already own the new 3 and 6 as well as an old 5 and 10. Love them and learned a lot about the 3 and 6 from this incredible presentation. She needs to do them all
This is the best review I’ve ever watched! I’ve just received my 6l sling and it explained everything so well. Plus, it was entertaining and funny to watch!
She is the BEST Sales person for Peak Design. My only problem with this bag is I had the first bag And I had my Sony camera and lens attached and my bag accidentally fell on the floor but it didn’t fall hi Fell low to the floor so I didn’t think any big deal until I went on a photo shoot and I went to open my back and the lens was broken on to my Sony A7 III. The bag really doesn’t have that much cushion in case the bag should fall like mind did. Thank God I’ve had a warranty on my camera and on the lens I got it fixed but I would never use that bag again. But I have all of your other bags which are excellent. Keep up the great work. But put some extra padding in case of falls in or you put the camera down a little hard you can’t do it with that back. And please give her a raise she is so funny. My next purchase will be the tripod. You rock.
Sent mine 3L back, openings are very difficult to access. I was concerned of scratching my camera and lenses when putting them in this bag. Even the other pockets felt very inaccessible. I`ll go back to my old canvas domke style bag that i`ve used for 25 years.
Thanks for the review! One thing i want to point out is that 11:30 does not work the way you'd expect it to. The umbrella falls out constantly in my experience.
Can I somehow flip the quick adjusted to the other side of the sling? I like to wear it on my right shoulder but that leaves the quick adjuster behind me.
Zona is almost as crazy as I am. I've played this clip 3 times now and still cannot decide which bag will be the one I'll order (6 or 10l). I'm also looking at the backpacks as replacement for my old Lowepro Protactic bags I use today for transporting my gear. Looks like I have to watch a lot more clips to decide on what I want and need.
Loosening is easy, but tightening is super hard. I have to pull hard to tighten it. I'm sure I'm doing something wrong, but I'm doling it like Zona, so...Zona rocks by the way.
Just bought the 6L. wish it fit the 12.9 iPad. The 10L is too bulky and would assume it gets hella heavy. Bought the v2 backpack for longer trips though. Best of both worlds.
I own a 5L & 10L slings. Love them, BUT, not easy to bring a large water bottle (20-32oz). Can you guys come up with something for this? Everyone carries water, right?! My son is working on a metal ring / strap (with rudder padding) to go around the bottle and attach to a PD QR plate. Then use capture.
@@63MacGuy So you can look for another bag, sling not designed for that purpose. People always want it to contain a lot of things and have to be very compact, double standard.
really curious for people here. can the everyday sling v2 be converted from left shoulder to right shoudler?? because i am somebody who sling on my right shoulder slinging the back to the left side.
I tested it in a store a few days ago. It is nice and the padded area on the strap is comfortable but it's not possible to easy move the padded area to use it on the left side, right side, more to the back more to the side quickly. Sure you can adjust the lenghts on the left and right from the padding but that's rather difficult and there is small amount of leeway. Therefore, I am still hesitating to buy and still looking for alternatives...
