Jennifer, thank you so much. There's no better teacher for yarn arts on You Tube. I actually think I can do this, and Tunisian has always seemed so confusing before. Thank you!!
This project was a great reminder for me that different hook materials yield different results. I started with the same metal hook and got the same chain length of 15” but after a few rows I found working with the metal hook cumbersome so I started again using my Denise Interchangeable hook - same size (6.5 mm). I feel like my tension was the same but I ended up way over the 15”. I had to decrease to 43 chains to get 15” on the Denise hook. I love this project and it is fun and easy to work. Thank you! Your tutorials are always so helpful and your patterns are so great!
I’ve been wanting to try a project and learn Tunisian crochet. I even have a skein of the Scarfie yarn in a different color way in my stash. Now, I just need to order a set of Tunisian hooks. Thanks so much, Jennifer! You made me really love and embrace crochet a few years ago. You’ve taught me so much and I’ve used your vids and patterns more than anyone else, hands down. ☺️
I've never done this type of crocheting but you explained it really well that I think I might give it a go in July after finishing projects I'm currently working on. Thank you x
Thanks for this tutorial. I like how you didn't cast on using the back loop which I find hard. Also, since tunisian crochet tends to curl up, what other kinds of projects will this work for?
Hi I have a sociopath on social media following me around claiming that they are me I'm sorry for the inconvenience if you have any information I would appreciate you thank you

I don't know if I'll try that but you make it better to understand. Thank you!

It is hard at first but once you practice it gives the fabric a really nice edge.
Very pretty!
On my to do list.
Awesome 😍 🙏 ✋
I'm having a difficult time finding 6.5 hook locally. Would it be ok with a 6 if I adjusted for height/length and keep my tension loose?
Just add a couple stitches on the starting chain so you have the same length as a 6.5 would be. It wouldn't be much difference tho
Why, my knitting turns on itself. The tension is loose and I use a hook for the wool size
Where can you purchase the flexible hook
I just bought one on Amazon with free delivery for $12.00 total. It's a 32-inch Flexible Tunisian hook, K10.5/6.5mm brand name is ChiaoGoo (bamboo)
How do you keep the work flat
🧶😘👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼❤️😍👍🏼🥰
