One thing to also note about tera blast for porygon 2 is that it always uses the highest offensive stat when terastallized, meaning if you get a physical download boost, the move will likely become physical and still do decent damage (and since it's a trick room mon you can run a -speed nature to keep its physical stat)
Sorry to hit you with the "erm akshually!", but tera blast will only become physical if the pokemon is terastalyzed, otherwise it's always special. I learned this the hard way on ladder.
yeah it often runs tera poison and a small amount of atk investment so it can ohko flutter with a physical tera poison tera blast after a download boost
+20. Porygon2 has 515, Porygon Z has 535. Also a little fact, Kleavor and Scizor do not have increased stats over Scyther, they are just redistributed. They're all 500 bst
@@oireal7261pretty crazy that scizor has been so good for so long in singles even with its relatively low bst. I wish we got more of those types of Pokémon, where they’re good because of having the right tools for the meta, instead of just minmaxxed demons with amazing typings and movepools
That's how most if not all of the gen 4 evolutions for earlier pokemon are Like, the reason Rhyperior isn't that good is because it gets +10 in it's stats that get raised. Meanwhile Rhydon is only 10 stat points behind with access to eviolite. The only real advantage Rhyperior has is access to rock wrecker which is just ehhhh
@peco595 Solid Rock Rhyperior has Solid Rock Rhydon takes 2× damage from Ground, Steel, Fighting, and Ice Types and 4× damage from Grass and Water Solid Rock Rhyperior takes 1.5× damage from Ground, Steel, Fighting and Ice Types, and 3× damage from Grass and Water. Solid Rock (and Filter) weakens Super-Effective attacks by multiplying the damage by ×0.75 A Chople Berry Rhyperior would actually take less damage from an Fighting-type attack than a Fairy-type attack
Honestly if Chansey kept Happiny’s Friend Guard ability I could see it being pretty decent. No Follow Me but she has every other support move and much more bulk than Clefairy (worse typing though… genuinely a bit salty that Chansey stayed a Normal type tbh)
As a singles player... Wtf is friend guard? No but seriously great video, but I would appreciate a little box with the ability description when you mention one. Maybe some ppl dont know prankster or something.
It’s a shame that Primape and Ursaring couldn’t get better with eviolite. Primeape wants Life Orb/Leftovers for Rage Fist, while Ursaring needs the flame orb for guts
Here’s an idea for a LC Pokémon: Chikalucha (Hawlucha pre-evo) Just like its evolution, it is a Fighting/Flying type with Unburden, Mold Breaker, or Limber, and a very similar movepool. However, as it has to be LC-eligible, it has much lower stats. Stats: (total: 320) HP: 48 Attack: 62 Defense: 45 Sp. Atk: 44 Sp. Def: 43 Speed: 78 The idea behind Chikalucha is that it counters Knock Off, its Fighting-typing giving it a Dark resist, and Unburden doubling its Speed, so if it gets hit by Knock Off, it can proceed to sweep. How do you think it’ll do in Little Cup?
Magmar is insane tho, with follow me and flamebody❤ he can also use fire spin 2 get of some damage back with help of protect. He can also learn heat wave for a almost guaranteed burned effect since you can hit 2 at a time, and combined with flamebody😂once you master how to use and when to tera him or not he can win you a lot of matches
2:36 85 + 30 isn’t 125. 85 + 10 isn’t 105. This is a small mistake and doesn’t impact the video but it still matters that it slipped through the cracks of your editing.

I didn't know how low of a stat increase porygon z got. Maybe a video idea could be surprisingly low or high stat increases pokemon get when evolving

Porygon-Z is the definitive almost good Pokémon. Even the slightest indirect buff will make it go to Ubers.

Solid Rock

Me watching VGC content. I know all of this but I like hearing it again
Good thing Eviolite Chansey wasn't mentioned here.
Minimize + Guard Swap Shuckle is basically why Heavy Slam and Earthquake are used more.
It’s not good, that’s probably why it wasn’t mentioned
cuz it was a gimmick strat that never really saw tournament play, also eventually got outclassed by Moody Muk
Honestly if Chansey kept Happiny’s Friend Guard ability I could see it being pretty decent. No Follow Me but she has every other support move and much more bulk than Clefairy (worse typing though… genuinely a bit salty that Chansey stayed a Normal type tbh)

Friend Guard reduces damage taken by your ally by 25 percent, making it useless in singles, but very strong in doubles.
In singles we got chansey I guess but it misses the heavy duty boots as it’s used as a special pivot
It’s a shame that Primape and Ursaring couldn’t get better with eviolite. Primeape wants Life Orb/Leftovers for Rage Fist, while Ursaring needs the flame orb for guts
Ive been using piloswine with thick fat as my eviolite user. Just for fun. He ain't bad. He's a good Flutter Wing check. 🙃
Can you make a playlist for you videos I watch a lot of videos passively and would love to be able to listen to your videos in an easier way

The stats aren’t even that bad at lvl 5, this thing would be mega broken. Grassy seed GG
Honestly, the combination of prankster and haze alone makes murkrow worth it in my eyes. Dondozo can be such a god damn pain without it.
Why’d you forget cottonee (it won a regional but is still outclassed by whimsicott)
Shout out to cottonee regional champion

Honchkrow has 40 more Attack and 20 more Sp. Attack than Murkrow.

What song is in the background here?
Wally’s battle theme from Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire- strongly recommend giving a listen, its a great track :)
