Oh my goodness Gerry, what a sweet precious little fur baby. I love ❤ 😍 💖 how you talk to her, and the way she looks at you and understands totally everything!
Too fabulous! Creative cards extraordinaire. Tearing paper, using wipes, stenciling, masking...more ideas to apply. Thx. Hugs to you both, sweet fur baby you got there 🐾
Great cards Gerry! I’ve seen those big stencils by Marlene but now I can see how cool they look! I love the ripped paper mask idea! Years ago I made a lot of cards with torn edges. I’ve also noticed a ton of stamps lately that are combined image with script or almost a stamp that already has a couple layers to the look. I couldn’t imagine how to use them but to just stamp on a background but yours are gorgeous! The ones that you colored in the flower part. For fantastic multi media stamps, you must check out unity stamps. They use red rubber and they have really increased their stock so there’s a lot of stamps to look at. But I was surprised how many would make great stamps for multi media! I love watching Ardyth too. I like her simple bold look and lots of geometric! I’m making a few square cards and love those!
I like the idea of making my own masks, temporary or longer lasting. The plan to be gentle with the environment here on Vancouver Island is always part of my plan. So thank you for having the same idea in your crafting.
If you step back and think, it's fun to do so, seeing options to use and reuse and you'll feel good as well about yourself😉 While being frugal has a bit of a negative ring to it, more out of lacking stuff...
Loves these Gerry. Don't have to have anything special to go and buy. And they came out great. It's in my saved,so I can remember and watch again. Will check out other video.lovw her ideas too. Thanks for sharing
I love this pattern youve made with strips of masking tape, it's really pretty! You're a great teacher Gerry, I always learn something from you. Thank you.
Great ideas Gerry. I love the coloring of the stamped images, as wel as their backgrounds. I also love the "clean up" trick wiping down your stencil, onto a fresh piece of paper.
Hey Gerry- happy to see you again. I like how take everyday supplies to create new techniques. I especially loved the idea of using a wet wipe to clean and make a background at the same time. Have a super weekend.
Ever since I found your UA-cam channel, I have really enjoyed watching you and your crafting tips and ideas. Your cards are beautiful, Gerry! Those torn edge paper and tape strip backgrounds are amazing. I recently bought some mica powders, and your beautiful backgrounds are the perfect inspiration for me. Have you ever used mica powder to create your own sprays or paste?
The cards all look fab. I think I would have also used those 'scrap' masks that you took off of the 6x6 mandala card, they would look cool as well. I think. ha ha
Wow iam soooo impressed with all these techniques. Thank you so much for sharing your talent and experience with us all. (Btw I love the baby wipe techniques the best). I kind of fell out with you tube and haven't watched many videos for a few years now. But after seeing yours I'm going to be back watching you all the time! (I'm looking forward to seeing all your videos that I've missed lol) have a great weekend. 😍😁🧡
Very creative ideas - you might try " drafting tape" it is masking tape designed to hold drawing paper, like architectural or mechanical drawing plans. It cost about the same as masking tape.
Ha, from now on I am no longer frugal, I am environmental friendly!! Love it 😊 Great masking techniques. The results are stunning, and as usual you made fabulous cards. Definitely on my to do list (which is growing and growing). Thank you for another wonderful tutorial 👍
@@GerrysCraftRoom No worries 😉 I spend regularly time in my craft room. At least 4 times a few hours a week, and trying to expand that to living there full time, LOL!!
I need to use up my Joggles gift card from returning my dylusions sprays. I have 4 left but when I use them they seem to spray such a large area so holding paper over part is a great idea! I’m trying to decide on which sprays I might be happiest with to start out. There’s too many! Dylusions, Dina wakely, the distress sprays, fireworks sprays, lindys, etc. I don’t know what would be best. I think I want a more opaque spray but I do want to use them for stencils and backgrounds and to add at the end. I’d love your suggestions. Everyone is using lindys magicals now and oh I’d love those! But Joggles it out of every color. I’m on about 20 waitlists! Lol thanks. Headed to the garden channel soon!
yes you do, instead of magicals you can use Cosmic Shimmer Pixie Powder or Sparkles, they are similar come in gorgeous colours and they are often better in stock😉
Love the baby wipe stencil cleaning and boarder technique. All your cards are beautiful ❣️
thanks💖
Omg I LOVE the tip on cleaning your stencil and leaving the pattern behind!! That's genius! Thanks for the tips!
Cool, crafting over cleaning always😉 you're welcome💖
Excellent ideas for some fun organic projects. I agree: “environmentally friendly”sounds much nicer than “frugal…” love your big bold sentiments too

Every one of your cards turned out so beautifully with these really cool techniques! Your little puppy is so sweet and adorable!
thanks💖🐾
