You all seemed to be in desperate need of scrap-spiration, thanks for the wonderful comments😍 A returning question, the alphabet used for the sentiments is: Cutting Die Alphabet Essentials nr.355 ldli.co/e/lmm66ro [ ecstasycrafts.ca ] In the product list I have added a few more similar in size and look💕
You did it again! You never cease to amaze me! Everyone else shows cards with strips but I just couldn’t believe my eyes when you took it so many variations above that!!! Your brain is such a beautiful brain, and matches the beautiful person you are! I’m really loving this idea! Just fantastic!- every one of them! I thought about you yesterday on International Woman’s Day! You are a spectacular woman with such an eye and regard for beauty. I hope you had a great day and May you be blessed 10 fold in the happiness you bring others! Fabulous video Gerry! Just fabulous!
There are plenty channels that share videos on how to use scraps by cutting them into strips. But this is next level with the circle die cuts and the sprinkles, making two cards out of every single piece. Especially love the roof shingles look. Great hack, to use lined paper! I need to get myself double sided adhesive sheets and get going.
Oh my! This was fabulous!!! I don't know which I love better - your unique projects or your great sense of humor! Both combined make a fantastic video and I'm thankful you share your talents with us! Janet 💕
"Productive procrastination" Okay I'm printing that out and pasting it all over my shelf that has projects started but are awaiting completion. These are some awesome cards thank you so much for sharing 🥰🤩
Love these. Have bunch of scraps,so need to get working on them. Circles on circles, cut circles etc. Like when you cut off the hanging part and turn it into a banner..you never know what will appear. Thanks for Sharing. Always enjoy. Happy crafting..
This is the best cardstock scrap busting video I've seen, you have such great tips and tricks and all your cards turned out fantastic! Love the fun colors and the textures. Thank you for sharing this great video!
Love these cards! There are a lot of videos (are they still called that?) on using up scraps, but most of them are rather uninspiring. It's a great idea to use lined paper as a base to make sure you don't start off squint. Thank you!
When the adhesive sheet's release paper is trying to lay back in place...maybe a post it note could hold it out of the way while you are laying down your strips. I am so happy I stopped to watch this tonight. Every tip, all the card fronts, and then the way you manipulated the papers so each finished card was so unique! Happy happy cards and a happy me. 🐧💙 Thank you and may God bless you and keep you safe and joyful.
I love the way you're thinking, I do think the post-it can't hold it because that side of the release paper is non-stick, otherwise you can't peel it of the adhesive, makes sense, right...I think I was just fussing, lol. I am so glad you watched and commented too and that it made you happy, yay😍 Thanks and you're welcome💖
WOW!!! SO MANY cards!! Such great ideas. I especially love the doodling and the "happy accident" flag strip!!! It's my favorite. I think I will make some of them "on purpose"!! They look great. Oh, AND the thread around the background label is fabulous!! I have a container by my couch where I put pieces of thread, embroidery thread, and yarn, etc., to use in my crafting. So I can pull out a piece anytime I need it without getting my supplies of thread out. I also twist it to make "cord" and also add cut up threads to top of my faux handmade paper. It's all good. I'm going to use the thread around background label in my junk journals too. I've never seen that done before. So many GREAT ideas. Thx for a great video. Austin,TX USA
You blow me away with your fun ideas! I love the concept of ‘productive procrastination’. I think that is my middle name. A few years ago I made a scrap card and couldn’t throw away the little ‘banners.’ To me they looked like a row of buildings in a city so I made a cityscape card, using the outline of the ‘buildings’ to trace a reflection on water. Hard to explain. I still have the card because I loved it so much.
Gerry, you are a true artist. Your tips and artistry are top-notch. I am so impressed and I love learning from your generous videos!. Thank you SO much!
That was such a fun video! Love all the cards you made. I can't get over the transformation the black doodles created. I love all the colors, and the cards were very happy. Thank you for all the great ideas.
These are great and new ideas to use your scraps!! I think I will have to try all of your ideas! The only thing I need is a few more hours per day and a few more days per week… As always you bring so much inspiration! Thanks 👍
Thanks for the great ideas and hacks. I’ve done this with washi tape but never thought to do it with cardstock. Duh! The blooper at the end made me laugh 😂
What an inspiration you are. I loved it when you made cards from the scrap scraps. Certainly no waste . I'm off to my craft room to bust those scraps into some fathers day cards. Thank you so much. X
So much to comment on.....loved your nail color- lol. Found your post it note a genius hack- thanks so much. Wonderful surprise for the cute little colored banner. So many ideas and two for one- who doesn't like that? What a great job of taking a little bit of not so much and making it pop. Think this is one of my favorite videos from you. Have a wonderful weekend.
So creative - I love your brain! I love that you doodled on your cards too! I used to doodle on my cards years ago and got out of doing it. Thanks for the reminder 😊Such fun projects!

It’s so true. Set the card aside and when you pull it out again a new idea emerges.
absolutely, we need to give that brain some space to work it's magic😉
It so true. Often the smart thing to do is to set a card aside and when you pull it out the next time you see it differently and a new idea emerges.
amazing how the create mind works doen't it😍
I can't wait to get home and play with my scraps.
cool, have loads of fun💕
