WOW!!! This is FANTASTIC!!! Gorgeous cards. JUST when you think there's NOTHING NEW!!! I'm so excited. Where's my acetate stash???!!! Thx for video!!!! Austin,TX USA
I have watched a # of your posts. I will definitely be trying these - so attractive! I like the way you quickly and clearly demonstrate and explain. So many card technique posters are very talented, but so l--o--n--g winded. Who has that kinda time to watch a card technique that's over an hour? Thanks, both for what you do and how you do it. ;-)
So many great ideas and now I have something to do with all that acetate I've been saving from my packaging. I actually had to stop saving the actual plastic packaging as I've saved up so much but it's great for shaker cards and even foiling. I cannot wait until next year to get out my acetate, embossing folders, and alcohol ink to try this technique, too. I better hurry up and get crafting because this year's flying by and my holiday projects are calling me. 🌲🎄❄⛄
What an awesome idea! It’s not fall here in Alberta anymore so I’m going to try it with winter cards. I see a snowflake embossing folder with inks in blue and silver! Time to get crafting! TFS
Gerry you are just an amazing artist! You see beauty and intrigue in any and everything. Your cards turned out stunning!!! You are an exceptional lady and I enjoy watching to see what new, non traditional you will come up with next. For someone who is not a conservative personality, I find your channel refreshing! And challenging! It shows me that there is so much more than the average out there. Yo stand out and above in creativity and are exciting to watch! Thank you for pushing that limit!!! And then sharing! We love you!
@@GerrysCraftRoom I mean those words and you are welcome. Oh how I wish we lived close by each other! I feel the inner artist in me everytime I watch you and I honestly don’t have the time to put into the playtime with products. And I truly believe that it had to take a lot of time to get into all the stash we have and pull things out and try them . If it doesn’t work keep trying. But I have tried minimally only to toss and run out of time to try more which then I feel frustrated because I couldn’t work through it. I am retired/disability . Had a car wreck at 45 and lost my leg. I live alone so I am so busy trying to keep everything in shape and clean and handle it all that I really struggle to have time to just make the 10 or so birthday cards a year! And then it’s rushed and I rarely enjoy it due to pressure. That is why I think, that I love watching you so much also. It’s freeing to me to see you be good limitless and out of the box! I’m kind of living my best crafty life through you! That is exactly how I would sum that all up!!!!! You can quote that if you like! Lol Have a beautiful day! Can’t wait until next video!
@@dizzinese you are so lovely I want to hug you, so here's a BIG virtual HUG!!! I am so happy you find my vids helpful and that you are thoroughly enjoying them💕
I have done some embossing on acetate and then I didn’t know what to do. And now I do!! Fantastic results with the alcohol ink. Gorgeous cards 😍. I am thinking Christmas cards... 😊🎄
Love this! I think you could also use the embossed acetate on the gel plate for texture as well, without having to worry about ruining your embossing folders.
I've been doing this with any flat piece of packaging I can cut away from all those "blister" packaging things I buy. Lots of tag sized pieces go into/along with cards. This is best on 2D folders. The 3D get a little wild & wonky sometimes.
New subbie here. I have just finished a design commission for a craft magazine and ran some acetate through an embossing folder. I have some of the alloys, but no pearls, I do love alcohol inks. Tfs 😀🤓🤗🙏
Wow...what a stunning outcome. I love them all! It was so cool how the colors you used on the one blended together and made a copper color. It created a perfect fall card. So gorgeous!! ♡♡
I love this!! I’m going to give this a try this right this very second. I love Fall cards and can’t wait to play with my hoard of 3D folders and alcohol inks. Thank you for introducing me this this wonderfully cool technique.
thanks💖 • Creative Expressions - A4 Card - Coconut White - 20 Sheets ldli.co/e/9dojlpm [ Scrapbook.com ] works great with wet techniques as well, like sprays and such.
I have wondered for years how to use these two things together to use in cards! Ty! I loved the look but how to attach and just clear plastic didn't seem appealing either. Yay!
Love the fall colors best, but live them all. I don't have any alcohol inks. What else cant you use ? I have some sprays inks. Had to LAUGH when you said you used to be a hairdresser and you trimmed the bow. I would of trimmed it too, and I was a hairdresser too. Maybe that's why I have to have things just so and even. Lol I am going to do this,I have alot of acetate sheets. That's for sharing. Happy crafting..
thanks💖 you can try anything that will dry on acetate, ink sprays probably not🤔 Just test on a small piece to see if it works😉 It did come in handy during Covid, I trimmed my own hair, lol Have lots of fun and you're welcome💖
