Nice Video! On my 1450... choke out, throttle up, starts mine on the first crank every time. I immediately drop the RPMs the instant it fires. I used to listen to my neighbor try to fire up his commercial pull start mower with the throttle down. He would yank that string for ten minutes every time. I laughed for like a year (wasn't that friendly with him) then couldn't stand it any more and went out and showed him. I fired it up on the first pull. lol Some people will argue against the high throttle position, but I own lots of old equipment all on first engines with no major work done. (like my 1968 IH 2444 in my profile pic. Has the original unsleeved untouched engine.
I just bought a 1450 and it doesn't have the lift pin. I have the hydraulic deck that I want to take off. Can I re run the hydraulics and purchase that pin lift that is on yours? Please pet me know. I need it. Haha
Hey I have a cub cadet 125, can I put this type of thing on my tractor? I want to put on a plow and use it for gardening. Right now it's just got a mower deck and a snowblower I know how to change out each
poop7217 yes the sleeve hitch or 3 point hitch as a lot of people call it. Sleeve hitches can be used on almost every older cub cadet , you'll need a narrow frame sleeve hutch and if your lifting something heavy you will definitely need a spring assist
man can you please help me ! the tractor im fuxing to buy is a 1980's cub and i dont think i can even put a 3 point hitch on it. i know nothing about tractors and the main reason i was it is for a cultivater and box blade. i have the serial number but it doesnt have a model number. its a hydro 12 hp kohler
+Cole Everett the sleeve hitch is different for both tractors , the 82 series uses the Frankenstein bolts and the quietline use the rod or bolts depending on what you have with the rockshaft . the 3 point hitch is different as well since the frames arnt the same they both have a different lift bar for the rear lifts, if you got more questions email me at chooster5000@gmail.com
Well you need the rockshaft which goes in the back of the frame which is what you see in the video , there's a lift bar that is like 11/2 wide and 1/2 inch thick with a bend in it that goes to the mower lift with another small bracket , there's also either the rod or Frankenstein bolts that holds the rockshaft, search for 1250 sleeve hitch and you should find pictures
+Cole Everett hey cole if you have a 680 cub cadet then youll need a rear sleeve hitch or 3 point hitch , id only do the 3 point if it was a hydraulic lift on it which its not. I have a 680 cub right now and 682 , the rear lifts are pretty pricey for the 82 series cubs , ive seen them for no less then 200 complete
dude i swear i am stupid. do u have an instagram or email. i looked it up but i dont want to purchase something that isnt right. also with a sleeve hitch will most garden tractor attachments fit it

i have a 1250. whats the differnece in sleeve hitch and 3 point hitch

Leave hitch plate on. Bolt on over top
put some silicone on the bolts and that will stop the
leaks
Is set up for three point hitch that's what I want
all i know is that i have a cub cadet 1250 and its looks alot like yours.
