They expect players to fight Brainiac 12 more times so they must have something planned but after a year of these seasons with additional characters, weapons and challenges, it’ll make you really wonder if they have any long term plans after that’s all done and the Justice League are back to do whatever in the story

In some comic universes, deaths are permanent. I consider Arkham Universe to be one of those universes. The JLA are dead…Batman…Superman..Flash…Green Lantern and especially Wonder Woman are dead. Reason: Wonder Woman would know if it’s a copy or clone…how she mourned for Green Lantern and using the lasso on Flash to get him to confess that they had to kill them to save the world. Batman’s blood is on Harley’s face and spreading on the sidewalk. You can go into another universe and get (kidnap) their counterparts but in the end, it’s not really them. They can even conjure up a 50s Happy Days Joker to call Bat-Mite and Mxyzptik to do a Deus Ex Machina to fix everything. Movies and comics have done this all the time. I fondly remember reading the JLA #122 1975 about Aquaman being dead. He comes back of course.

Rocksteady crafted the story and the whole premise of the game around the idea that we can murder THE JL. Something that would’ve been dope if they handled the deaths properly. But they didn’t. And the leaked audio and now the cutscenes out in the open, pretty much was Rocksteady’s way of saying “Yeah we don’t care that much about these beloved icons. That’s why we decided to make a game where not only do you get to kill them, but you also can mock and laugh at them and we gave them all meaningless, embarrassing deaths. We even went as far as to piss on Flash’s dead corpse. Although Wonder Woman gets an honorable death. Because f**k all the men.” 2. If this theory does come to pass, then they pretty much lied to us about the whole game. They couldn’t even commit to their own title if we only ended up killing clones. So it’s a lose, lose situation. Plus it’s lazy storytelling.
Agree on all points, thats why honestly to me if they want to make a suicide squad game, dont make the game about them killing the justice league, like idk, maybe make a story where years after arkham knight, someone recruiting former militia member and making terror somewhere and amanda waller need task force x to clean it up

I mean Lexor was able to clone poison ivy back to life, so I see no reason why they couldn’t do it with the justice league considering brainiac has far more advanced technology. Either way, even if the dresses does end up coming back, that doesn’t stop the fact that the story of this game is terrible.
All they had to do was make in not in the arkhamverse and they could have doubled down on the justice league deaths, like how web of shadows killed a ton of characters.

I’m just hoping for a new Batman or justice league game in the future. It doesn’t need to be connected to Arkham but hopefully with the success of the Matt reeves Batman movies we will get a new original Batman game series in the future as a successor to the Arkham games because the suicide squad game is very disappointing.

Salvage thoughts on Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League sequel being a Red Hood game where he hunts down and kills the Suicide Squad for murdering Batman his father?
The more I see how the Suicide Squat fails flat, the more upset I get we never get Arkham Apocalypse whit Damian. Like fr. Everything you need to do is just look at the concept arts and you know that game was going be something amazing. Sadly we can only imagine what could have been. This is how I think the opening cutscene of Arkham Apocalypse would have been. We see the destroyed Waynemanor some years after Arkham Knight. An owl is caming from the distance and landing on a gravestone. The person name on it reads Bruce Wayne and few members of the Court of Owls came accompanied by the Judge Owl. (I think that was the title of the grandmaster of the Court) He looks down and begins to speak; "Tell us Bruce, did you finally see your parents on the other side?" We go back in time and revisit the night of the murder of the Waynes as the Judge Owl gives three troughs for his principles. Whit quick scene of the Arkham games "Your Vengeance was never for justice, but to keep reminding yourself the burning rage you never let go off.." Thomas Wayne get shoot and we are shown some Arkham Origins moments. "Each night you put on that outfit to mask your personality, you failed to realize what's beyond you can see.." Martha dies, Asylum & City moments. The Judge Owl pause for a second and makes comment about Talia. "It was tragedy.. wasn't it Wayne? Perhaps if you only accept her offer and follow your heart, she might have been alive today." As young Bruce Wayne, kneel down sad, an owl is show watching him from a far. Reviling the Court always knew who he is. "And yet. Ad you lived as Batman in the dark, and Bruce Wayne in the light. Gotham watch as they both died in flames." Back in the present, the grandmaster of the Court, places a black rose on the grave. "May you rest in peace now Batman. We thank you for taking care of our kingdom. But now it's time for us to reclaim it back." The Court leaves and the owl flys away on the entire City, can be seen. We follow her as take trip from above. Central Gotham has been expanded whit two more big islands. The constructions in Founders district has been completed. Miagami and Blick island are mostly the same but whit more futuristic look. North (Arkham City) and South Gotham (Arkham Origins) have become rundown whit crime snd the most dangerous part of the city. Almost 70% is abounded. Here is when for first time we get to take a look at East Gotham. The East part is the biggest and the most populated. This region is combination of classic architecture and futuristic elements. Finally, the owl lands a tree branch, looking at a big gothic mansion that is outside the city. The last thing we see is a young boy looking out of the window at the owl whit afraid expression, before we hear someone calling him. "Come on Damian, the audience can't be left waiting for us." Damian looks again out of the window but the owl is gone as we see the title card. If someone actually read that thank you. Like seriously thanks. And yes. Damian is raised by Zatanna. I'm not changing that from my head canon.
