POV of my scariest freeride competition run yet! Verbier FWT

This is a POV of my competition run down the Verbier Extreme(bec Des roses). This one had my heart pumping and legs burning.

The POV makes it look even more insane than on the broadcast. Especially knowing how steep it is. The light so flat that one doesn't even know where the takeoff is, big cliffs everywhere, no clean runouts. To me it's a miracle how you guys know where you are on the hill and how you can ride so confidently. Also your execution was near perfect. And that double at the end is surely one of the craziest ever skied in a competition. You really earned that win. Excited for next season.

Yup, the visibility was not the greatest for most of the ski men.
Lots of drone reviews and visual inspections give us that confidence. Usually, things are different than expected though. You need to be prepared for a bit of the unknown 😅

@@marcusg360I find that funny when you say “visual inspection gives us the confidence”. I don’t have much confidence in comps when I get on run inspection. what kind of meal plan are you on?

@@ryanbradac6915hahaha. It doesn't give us 100% confidence but we know the conditions are better than most IFSA comps. I'd take visual inspection with good conditions over on course inspection with bad conditions any day. Pasta all day everyday😂

SUCH a stylish run. and oh my god that 3 was crazy and scary. and, i mean, the double.... like, it's so insane i have a hard time even believing it happened, even though i've seen it like 12 times. one of my absolute favorite runs of FWT from last year. LOVE YOU MARCUS.

Unbelievable performance. This is one of those POVs that’s really got me thinking of the conditions competitors face. The snow looked wind blown and punchy, the surface largely rocky and unpredictable, and your cliffs were huge! I felt my heart beating on the 3 landing and the quick double.
