We took this bike for a day's ride and here's what we think about this new member of the BMW motorrad family.

Just picked up a used 2018 here in Chicago Illinois. First motorcycle but have 2 scooters. Ordered a bunch of accessories to address some of the commonly reported problems from this and other videos on this bike. Am 71 years and 6' 7". Hope to get a serious seat modification to give me more leg extension! Great video. Thanks!
I have the G310R and I love it! I'm 5' 5" tall
I have one since a year , done 5000Km and its indeed a great commuter bike, however it has a few little issues: 1.) The vibrations at 6000 RPM and higher make it unpleasant to drive as the hands start to sleep... I am not sure how far and how long you have driven it , but you must have feld it. 2.) the passenger footrests are not anti vibration mounted and are directly onto the frame, my passengers ( although that is not the main use) always complain about the vibrations in their foot. 3.) Driving on the highway at 120Km feels like pushing it a bit to high in rev's for prolonged rides - 8000 RPM. 4.) fenders and mud protection are not all that efficient and you will get a lot of swipe and splash in the back, 5.) the rear break pedal is for me mounted to much inwards, I modified it. 6.) mirrors are a bit short and the arms are in the way while riding for clear view. For the rest a perfect bike, and I love it..

How many rpm at 100 kmh?
Many people are saying exactly the same as you, it must be thrue then lol! Maybe they fixed issues with their last released in 21... Hope so!

How tall is Asta? I am looking for an entry level bike for my wife but she is 5'2" (157.5 cm).
Hey, I’m 167 cm so a bit taller than your wife, but this bike is really low and lightweight, so there’s a great chance she would find it comfortable 😉
Bmw offers a low seat option for shorter riders for this bike. She wouldnt be able to flat foot but can easily manage.

There are 3 different seats (low, regular, and high) for g310r. You choose at the dealer.

InegoMinblan kiekvienam savi trūkumai - man labai gerai, kad žemas motociklas, Linui - labai blogai. Galios nedaug, bet kažkam mieste važiuojant jos galbūt pilnai užteks. Vibracija irgi kiekvienam skirtingai trukdo. Iki 90 km/h man netrukdė, bet kažkam, kas neįpratęs, gali ir tiek būti per daug ;)

Many thanks! This bike is also good for old farts like me (75 years young) who rides a 192 kg 660 cc bike & would like to get a last & lighter bike with a bit lower seat 😄😄😄
