I bought this bike one year ago and this is the first time I've seen this video. I absolutely agree that it's the perfect bike for a beginner. I was looking for something to commute sometimes but mostly for the weekend and since I'm a small woman, I wanted to be able to pick it up to, haha! I've done some long distance with it (380km) and adding windshield absolutely helped. Loved the video!
I’m one of the older riders looking for a smaller cc bike and there are a lot of good ones in the field that are so much better than what was available years ago. I like this a lot
What really annoys me is that the G310R is constantly referred to as a beginners bike. It is this stereotyping of bikes that will put off more experienced or older riders that may enjoy the G310R.
You're right but that's exactly who the bike is aimed at - younger and beginner riders. Of course older and more experienced riders will enjoy it too.. but the target market is the new riders
A great review - very well presented! Would you consider from your riding the experience that the GS version of this bike - the G 310GS would be suitable for touring with its more upright and comfortable riding position (assuming third party luggage and maybe a bigger windscreen) or is it more a limitation of engine power for cruising on highways?
Thank you sir!!! I just posted the G310 GS review today haha!!! The GS is definitely a lot more comfortable seating wise. I believe that the smaller engine and the lack of wind protection is going to be a limiting factor on long rides.

It's so light, nimble and easy to ride! I loved it and I'm glad that you're enjoying your bike too. :)
True, I am 60+ years old. Gone full circle now using the G310GS as my round about bike siding solo, done the bigger 1200GS and other bigger cc bike.
Oh yeah it's a great lil bike no doubt

Completely agree, I had more fun on the G310 than on the Triumph speedtwin 900. Perfect city runner
