The manual flush is excellent, no cross contanimation from touching the handle...BRILLIANT!!!

the ultrasonic sensor (looks like an alienhead) meatures the distance to the person, and when he leaves the toilet the robot activates the arm that pulls the flushingpin - sorry for my bad english !

Man, having this thing would save me so much effort! My life has been saved!

Nice work - but everytime you flush, the pieces are stressed. If you can think of a way to attach it over the toilet and gear the motor, there would be alot less of a chance for the pieces to loosen and snap.

You can get one of those now (new) for around 250 dollars.
It's not just a toilet flusher, but it can be taken apart and turned into something else.
    Gotta love Lego ^^

i8urbabi and Quade235 - Thanks for pointing that out I got ahead of myself. The solution for this then is an infrared motion sensor. When the sensing field detects motion the Robo Flush would be activated

now you gotta make it say "feed me!" every time someone walks by it.

Only thing missing, is to make it close the seat.
I see it can be done, edge of the seat is perfect over the top.

Wow, I'm suprised it is strong enough to put hte lever, those new motors must be way stronger than the old ones.

This is really awesome. I'm a fifth grader and I just got my first LEGO NXT robot and have made many things, but nothing as cool as this toilet flusher. It could fun recording some other sounds to play when a person is first detected at the toilet.
I look forward to looking at your website to other cool ideas. Check our my videos of my robot. Write some ideas for me in the comments. Thanks.

I suggest that the machine you constructed is not flushing that toilet Its my view that the angles are all wrong for the flush mech and the movement is not enough to initiate the flush. Good concept but needs refining to work.
