Mark fera toujours parti des plus grands guitaristes dans notre monde. Je possède beaucoup d'albums de Dire Straits, et de Mark en solo..... Son groupe est très bon et ses musiciens tous excellent. Je voudrais tant le revoir aux arènes de Nîmes.

Desde pequeño ( y ya tengo 51 años) he seguido a Dire Straits y a Mark Knopfler. Me sé todas las letras de sus canciones y en 1992 tuve la grandísima oportunidad de ver a la banda en Marbella y Madrid (2 veces), así como posteriormente en Madrid otra vez y en 2019 en Valencia. Simplemente decir que es un virtuoso, profesional, honesto, transmite en cada nota de su guitarra. La hace llorar, reír, gritar, emocionar, etc..., simplemente sin PALABRAS. Seguiré escuchándolo hasta que deje mi existencia. También se lo he transmitido a mis hijos, que a pesar de su corta edad lo escuchan cada noche a la hora de cenar (Sailing to Phildelphia, Why AYE Man, Before Gas and TV, Postcards from Paraguay, Tunnel of Love, Once upon a time in the West, Your latest trick, Money for Nothing, Sultans of Swing, News, Going Home, Romeo and Juliet, BROTHERS IN ARMS, Communiqué, Where do you think you are going, FOLLOW ME HOME, HAND IN HAND, love over gold, it never rains, private investigations, and so many OTHERS.............
Suscribo todo lo que escribes. También tengo 51 años y también tuve la oportunidad de ver a la banda en Madrid en 1992, en aquellos conciertos memorables. Todavía tengo una cinta del pelo de aquella gira que la llevo a todos sus conciertos. Después de eso, hasta 3 veces más lo he visto, las dos últimas en mi ciudad Córdoba en el festival de la guitarra. En 2019 con un concierto propio de los mejores años, en el que anunció que ya no haría ninguna gira más. Este señor y su forma de tocar la guitarra es algo épico. Que pena que los años pasen para todos

@@frankvogel5651 Das ist traurig zu hören, daß Mark Parkinson hat. Er war seit meiner Jugendzeit mit Dire Straits eines meiner Lieblings Gitarristen. Seine Solo-Alben und Tourneen waren immer Herz erfrischend. Mein erstes Album war "Love over Gold" als LP. Das habe rauf und runter gehört. Telegraph Road,Private Investigation und Love over Gold sind meine absoluten Favoriten.
