Diving Weekend in Monterey Bay, California - Point Lobos / Whalers Cove / Wharf / Beach Hopper Boat

I did my very first cold-water dives in Monterey, California in the fall of 2023. It was quite a steep learning curve getting used to the bulkiness of all the extra exposure protection gear you have to wear for cold water diving! But my trusty friends took good care of me and showed me some incredible sights around Monterey. We dove a late afternoon, turned to dusk, dive at the wharf, then had a dive in Point Lobos at Whaler's Cove, and completed the weekend with dives off the Beach Hopper boat. An incredible introduction to cold water diving!
