I started getting up at 5:30 to go on a walk and listen to an audiobook. I can't tell you how much that's done for my mental health. I really resonated with you saying you felt more rested than when you sleep later. I definitely feel the same way waking up earlier and immediately doing something physical. Also, let's be honest, it's dope to realize you already did cardio when you're drinking coffee after an early morning workout. Come work out at Mecca in Tupelo, MS btw.

Ya same I switched my training to be in early morning and it always makes my day a lot better it starts it off on the right track 🏃
I was never a morning person, but once I got my first job, I switched gym to early morning. Never felt better. Unfortunately my current job starts too early to go gym before work, but I work in a hospital so I’m on my feet all day anyway.
But anyone thinking they can’t, trust me. Do it once and you’ll realise how easy it actually is to go gym before work.
You have to get up that early to beat the heat! Grrllll.

I recently started jogging every evening at 8pm and every morning at 4am and i can tell you the morning run that early just hits different, it gives you some kind of power knowing people are still sleeping in their warm beds and you’re awake outside running in the cold
It has changed my life and looking to continue this everyday

Hey Will, for what it's worth I used to (and still do) run through a similar neighbourhood, I live close-ish to you, and the biggest problem at 4 4am isn't other people, it's avoiding skunks! I've almost literally ran over skunks like 3 times, because their camoflauge actually works pretty well for nighttime. Haven't been sprayed yet, but I mostly run during the day now. HMU if you ever want to do a 4am run tho
