Guys - I’m an overseas kiwi, and like you guys, I too started to cry as my Mum passed 8yrs ago - never does that go away. Jas is a wonderful kiwi, really a great roll-model! I know the show was so much more than that, but those last moments, super powerful! Really appreciate you guys being truly authentic & vulnerable - Thank You 🙏🏼
Wow this is incredibly wholesome, moving, authentic & real, from all three of you. Jason Gunn is a beautiful person, a true kiwi icon. Well done guys, you have an amazing podcast. Keep being real and doing what you are doing.
Holy s h i t ! How much did I cry?!? My eyes are stinging! Jason Gunn is the epitome of an Angel on this earth. What a truly BEAUTIFUL human being. Absolutely incredible questioning/research/format/delivery, too. You guys really are magic. I could’ve sat through another 2 hours and still be wanting more. THANK YOU guys so much for this episode! I cannot express enough how terrific this was. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU 🙏🏼 Annie G 💛

What an incredible, and humble, human Jase is! Great pod guys...was listening as I ran home today from work and could literally feel the emotions in you all during the part about his mum. A very uplifting episode. Thanks guys!
I have to admit, I had a perception of Jason as this flamboyant, wacky kids TV presenter and wasn't sure if I would enjoy this episode. I am so glad I started it because I couldnt stop, a great ep from start to finish and what a special guy. I also want to say, you guys just keep smashing it, you spoke about authenticity and it's what makes every episode so good, you both keep it real and are genuinely interested in the guests. Love it! ❤
The first time I’ve watched / listened all the way through your podcast ,new to these . Anyway Jason Gunn loved ever minute of your stories go well mate !!😎
Crying for sure thank you so much . My husband sent this to me to watch. I lost my mum around the same time he did, this has really helped. Thanks guys.
I listen to all of your podcasts and i think you guys are amazing, but that is one of the best podcasts ive ever heard and now seen. Jason is one of my favorite kiwis and im jealous you met him lol. great job
Jase got emotional talking about Thingee. Everyone loved Thingee especially Thingee and Jase together. The sad passing of the man behind the voice of Thingee was sad for Jase. Losing his best friend.
Be the best part of somebody's day. People aren’t thinking about you, and it's never intentional. Never attribute to malice you can attribute to incompetence. It's far more likely that they're in their own worlds doing their own thing. They're not paying attention to the world around them. And we all do it every day, whether you're driving or walking down the street. All of our lives are just as complex as everybody else's. Everything you have going on, they have going on. Nobody knows what everybody else is going through. We also need to be more self-aware and aware of the world around us. Spend your time deep thinking about other things. You have to look deep to find the deep things. If all you ever do in your life is stay at the surface, you'll never find anything worth exploring. Source: Thingee

After working alongside Jason in the 90s… This man has certainly grown up 😅
Jason Gunn is my idol! He should've been the host of New Zealand's Got Talent.
Agreed!

Is Jase NZ's very own Loudermilk? Please, please Jase, do an alter ego show of the Son of a Gunn show.
i'm scared .... am going to listen to this as a podcast at work ... I use machinery so hope fully it won't become dangerous
Jason Gunn!
The legend himself!
Why isn’t Jason Gunn knighted? Hes gotta be an NZ treasure!
