Well done Paula, love mum x
Mathew is in great shape,,ANd an awsome talented man.Full respect to him for his pure honesty,Amazing.!!
True 👍🏻
True story brother true story !!!
Solid work boys! Been in the States 20yrs and listened to an absolute mountain of podcasts.and you guys interview as well or better than any Podcasters here. (Rogan the Goat mind you).. You guys know how to pause/set/engage with your guest. Love it!!! Levin boy in Louisiana.
The LEGEND himself….
Bob jones who as a woman i can tell u hes not an attractive man.
Nothing knew here Marc. Easy to say when you have it all.
Not only a great player but loyal as well to the teams he played for he never chased the money the money just was there for great players like him
Great interview. For some reason. I find Matthew Ridge to be honest and authentic. Marc Ellis on the other hand Not so much.
I met Matthew Ridge at my father inlaw and mother inlaws house in Panmure. He was smoking weed 😂 Then I met him again ( wow, that was about 17 years ago) in the elevator going up to my parents apartment in the city above the float bar. He asked me to "go party?" but he looked trashed as, and nearly fell over 😂 sooo I declined.
Some of the best shit on this planet is what money can't buy. Cheers Ridgey your a bloody legend mate 👏🏼
Class Act....should of cloned him, while we had the chance! One of our best 10s.👏
No chance
Sup Deano - hope all is well my brother
What's an iWatch? Lol.
It's no secret... everyone knows about the drugs and the woman sharing ... old news ...
Yup, 100% right
Wow bro i see exactly where your coming from I'm 60 nek year I always find it hard to express or put it in to word, you nailed it.thanks bro
An hour and a half of name dropping and brown nosing.
Yep Shane too tru no repect is every boxers down fall but you were up against the hardest puncher next to tyson in that era he fought my brother in amatur who we worked out a counter punch for his left hook but 3rd round came he got caught so my dad threw in towel because the legs were gone . A great fighter to be against and you have the respect of getting in that ring with him ..
no filter love it not many would talk about beef with teammates and try keep it media trained.
What a fantastic chat guys, Georgie is an eloquent, articulate, calm, clever woman with so many amazing achievements in her life. I could have listened to her for another hour 😊
What a great interview
tyson weaves tua and left hooks him with ease
There’s a reason why Tua hasn’t been knocked out but only recently been knocked down. Very good defensively not just with a granite chin that’s sharp to bomb or when you think of “make him miss and pay” he will front up
Good opinion.
holyfield was too fast footwork and defence too good they had alot of heavy sparring sessions did tua and holyfield in the warm up to the tyson holyfield fight
So many wisdom nuggets and analogies 🙌🏼
Insperational ,great guest great story ,a warrior on and off the field ,watched this with my 2 daughters who are afl players in ozzie !!
The only thing MATHEW was addicted to was his EGO .
Yeah in Lille 14/11/2024
Regarding that group hug Charles got----I don't think Ruby Tui was even involved. As Georgie said-it was instigated by Ayeesha Leti'inga.
It's actually 30 years and he's right mentally they aren't tough enough to go 80 mins every single week like the storm Penrith
Very good interview with one of the most creative media minds the nation has ever seen..........
I was only focused on going out 😂😂😂
No such thing Matster.
I actually went to school with Matthew Ridge and Rob O'Brien at Auckland Grammar when that taxi driver incident went down... I also went to Remuera Intermediate with Rob O'Brien and knew him quite well, despite moving in different circles. At Auckland Grammar Matthew was a notorious bully and considered an absolute prick by everyone who wasn't in the First 15 or one of their sycophants. The reason why Matthew got away with being such an arsehole at high school is because he was the darling of the rugby fraternity at Auckland Grammar and at Grammar nothing was bigger than first 15 rugby, as we an ex All Black captain as a headmaster, namely DJ Graham.
So was Mathew part owner at the Warriors while he was playing full back?
Chur bro, btr get your arse down to a marae then aye😂🫡💯
Is that cat have here or take away?
It's like shoes u dont need to wear them to walk, but it helps lol
An example of a good person
Matthew was a hearty player
Bumped into Rachel literally 1 nite alot of haircuts ago down the waterfront in Aucks.herself & sister out having a very gd time without paparazzi.nice 2 see.had a massive minder never 2 far away.great down to earth girls 👍
Matthew ridge had it. Just watch when he played for manly. Tough. Warriors are crap and have always been crap. Thank phuck I've never supported them. Go the saints!
True
Functioning Drug Addict is an oxymoron lol!
I still maintain, they let Ivan go too soon. I believe if he a had a season or two more with Noddy and SJ, the Warriors would've won it all. But the higher-ups threw all their eggs in on SJ alone and it didn't work. One of the most frustrating things has been that the Warriors recruit well but suck at when they let people go.
Yeah.. I agree.! After all these years of being at the club, it's really past time that the Warriors updated and upgraded. Ridgey is spot on..
Incredible pod boys. Probably one of the best I’ve seen. It had everything. The feels when he’s choking up bout his dad, his bilingual upbringing, his high level impressions, mixed with all the rugby experiences and then to cap it off with his family. He’s such a good cunt!
