Great video. I used a bandit with the slash lcg. As a bandit it''s fast for stock vxl. I left it stock for now until I can do some test and tune. Keeping a log of the setups is smart it will become valuable in time.
Thank you for the vid, im in the process of building a dr10 for street eliminator, im trying to get as much input as I can, my goal is to get close to the 2 sec..range!!
This is for no prep 2021 Shocks: Must have four shocks each controlling a wheel as intended by typical manufacturers. Connected and operating hinge pin arms at all four corners of the car. Shocks must have movement visible and acceptable by the race director. “No Tie Rods”.

Good vid! I'm also new to the drag race world, I have 3 builds on standby at the moment. I need to learn about the tuning of the motor and what the pack does.
@@RCOUTLAWS Hey thank u! Yeah ill have keep notes thats a good idea because I have the 3 drag builds on the bench not including the other crawlers and 2 monster trucks on my project list. So u race out the on LI? I'm originally from Jersey living in Pa now and have been around any racers out here.

@@RCOUTLAWS Now that would cool to have some land,I know if I did id definitely have different tracks on it. I noticed u have a traxxas funny car which surprise me they disconnected it being drag racing is growing so huge.
If you are using anything on your tires sir, that comes off or leaves a sticky residue on your fingers or the surface the tires make contact with, you are running prep not no prep.
Nice build man beautiful i have to get me one of these!! So far I've got my 8s xmaxx finally what a beast!! And I just traded off some subwoofers i bought off a buddy for 100 bucks for a losi 8ight buddy 6s castle powered ! It flys !! Gonna use it as my daily basher and speed run machine as my xmaxx is way to pretty to beat up or take out in crappy weather lol!! Just to same pretty!!
Thank for the info on your builds. I put a slash together last year and it seems to work good. I know what I'd do differently now. Are you guy's running lockers or just think diff oil?
I just purchased the new losi to get into drag racing and I need to know a good set of batteries to get. I’m a total noob but I have other rc cars. I don’t know what the rules are on batteries so I don’t want to waste money Thank you
We’ll definitely a 2s. Depends on how much you wanna spend. You can get a cheaper zee brand battery on amazon for about $30 or you can get a revtec or a max amps for $90. You want something with a high C rating. I’ve heard good things about all of them but personally I’ve felt a lot more off the line burst power with the revtec battery I got from rotorron.com
They help eliminate that power dip off the line . They are there to limit the "ripple" that comes from larger drag racing motors when they are initially punched.
Whats up bro! Yo those rims are sick. I have a dr10 kit with tons of mods and a slash lcg chassis waiting for to get back to Georgia from NYC. I'm curious to see how tha Macclan combo works, I ordered a Ruddog 4.0 so it should rip. Great vid as always bro!
Awesome! These rims are super high quality and they are on the cheaper side compared to others. They just release a lighter more streamline version of the rear beadlock too! Oh yea 4.0 should rip!!! Thanks for watching!!!!!
