A great hop up for these is the traxxas metal wheelie bar and metal wheelie bar wheels that have the bearings. They are bigger than the stock plastic ones. Amazing cars!
Soooo much awesome! I definitely need to get into the drag racing scene! There's a group here in GA called the RC Misfits of Atlanta and they will drag race ANYTHING! Cars, boats, foot race, all of it! I really dig the line up Proline has on drag bodies. It's awesome to see the OEMs taking interest in rc cars. This is a fantastic time to be in this wonderful hobby!

You need to tune the rear shocks. Looks like the black car has the rear stepping causing the car to go left. To help correct that, increase the preload on the left side (add spacers) and/or decrease preload on the right side. Basically, instead rear preload on the side the car is steering towards.
Nice! That body is sweet! I’ll have to try it with my new MSM steering wheel thumb driver. I have the C-10, but this mustang looks amazing as well! Time to hit up traxxas…..again, wife is gonna lose it for sure 😂

Man I remember my first nitro 4tec from Traxxas ready to run in the early 2000’s and also later had one with a factory 2 speed trans but look how far electric has come…it’s taken over nitro!
Have you noticed how smooth they run, especially with the race transmission. Currently have the C10, but I'm a huge mustang fan so I'm purchasing the new Stang !
I love the traxxas mustang , I just got the losi I 22s and the dr10, new to drag racing wanted to try something new , usually do crawling, love your videos please keep up the good job
Awesome stuff. Great move by Traxxas to go with a Foxbody Stang. Funnily enough, one of our most famous touring car drivers here (Aus) used to race in a Foxbody in almost the same green as yours. If you want to see something strange, look up 80's Falcons here in Aus (XD/XE). Sort of an alternate timeline if the Falcon was still made in the US. They do look a bit like the Foxbody.

Something to note is that the fox body might be more aerodynamic than the c10? Some differences between the fox body and c10 is the body mounts and front splitter/bumper.
Wish traxxas and others would maybe send one of these new cars to a guy/girl that r getting there channels going to help with some content,,great for the ones that been doing for awile...but "TRAXXAS" and "OTHERS".. have a heart...😁😁great vid Mark...love the black also...thinking some chameleon paint would look sick with ur MSM hologramed under it...🤤🤤

These dragsters remind me back in the day when 16:9 aspect ratio flat screen TVs came out. Since there wasn't much widescreen format available, people would stretch a 'normal' 4:3 show/movie to fit the widescreen. Not a good look watching something like basketball since it looks like they were dribbling footballs and people just looked extra fat.

I built a 1991 lime green foxbody mustang about 4 years ago 347 stroker sbf with nitrous. I still have it as we speak.

Take note that the left lane was usually the loosing lane. Lane choice makes a difference.
@@toolbaggers saw it, but watch the black car. They actually both hook left, but the black car more so. Add that preload. Basic drag tuning.

I had a notchback Mustang I built up, started life as a 4 cyclinder, I dropped in a 408ci small block ford.
