The Gospel is found in Jesus Christ. He is the Author and Finisher of our Faith. Let us be faithful and do God's Will and obey His word the best that we can. Faith and repentance is fundamental and necessary.
We were the other sheep, thank you Lord I have been passed many challenges, but your words are like fresh water in a desert , I believe all your words.
“Behold I am the Law”. Dallas Jenkins got grief for putting these words in his series “The Chosen”. And yet he claims to never have even read the Book of Mormon. Now, had he said, “Well, I did read through it once and maybe I got it from there” then it could be dismissed as a mental coincidence. But nowhere in the old or new testament has Christ ever claimed to directly be “The Law”. Only in the Book of Mormon and in “The Chosen”. Brothers and sisters, this is a sign to you this day that the Book of Mormon is the word of God. Here is proof that The Lord is speaking through brother Jenkins. He has put the exact 4 words of the Savior that he spoke to the believers of Bountiful in the Americas after his resurrection in the most watched depiction of Christ in the history of film. “The Chosen.” This is a sign. Humble yourself and come unto Christ’s church and be baptized.
Absolutely love this series. I know nothing about videography, but just want to comment that the cinched in waist on the resurrected saviors costume is distracting.
Very saddened by some of the comments. Judge not that ye be not judged. Focus on the message, not the portrayal. Don’t let Satan guide your criticisms.
The message is great. The portrayal is right in front of our eyes. I think they missed the mark. Commenting on the costume and the actor is not a comment on the message.
Why did Jesus only go to America? Didn’t he care about the people in China? Africa? The Pacific Islands? They could’ve used a visit and to hear his message just as much as the people in the Americas did.
He states that he is going to show himself unto the other tribes that have been led away. I don't think we know exactly where he went. But we know he went to them.
Jesus did visit the Lost Ten Tribes. The Book of Mormon tells us this and promises that some day we will have the record of that visit or visits. But we do not have it yet or know where these people were.
Jesus specifically speaks of "other sheep" in the Book of Mormon, and as the Shepherd, he said he would visit all of the different folds, and that He would make them all one fold. That's nearly the entire content of this video.
2 Nephi 29: 7 Know ye not that there are more nations than one? Know ye not that I, the Lord your God, have created all men, and that I remember those who are upon the isles of the sea; and that I rule in the heavens above and in the earth beneath; and I bring forth my word unto the children of men, yea, even upon all the nations of the earth? 12 For behold, I shall speak unto the Jews and they shall write it; and I shall also speak unto the Nephites and they shall write it; and I shall also speak unto the other tribes of the house of Israel, which I have led away, and they shall write it; and I shall also speak unto all nations of the earth and they shall write it.
Why do these videos skip whole verses? There is no reason to omit the verses of the Savior speaking, every video so far has some verse omitted from it.
It is a shame that the one fold will be split up into a number of heaven, and not get to be one fold forever. Will the shepherd only be with one group?
We will have divine unity amidst the degrees of glory, so there will still be one fold and one Shepherd, but the enjoyment of each sheep will vary based on what they have desired in this life.
This scene should have many more people in the crowd. Also, people here should have expression, nuanced demeanors. From the way it looks, the persons present could be cardboard cutouts; they look like they’re at a fireside listening to a boring speaker. I don’t like saying this, but some of these Book of Mormon videos should have been better. _The _*_book_*_ deserves better._ Producers could have watched the marvelous _Life of Jesus Christ Bible Videos_ to get a feel for real reel. There could have been dried tracks of tears on faces, extreme closeups, people creeping to get closer to Him as He spake, a few mouths hanging open. Christ’s voice could have had subtle effects applied to ‘celestialize’ it. My gosh you guys, improve your groove, ye filmmakers!
Not everything has to be "entertaining" ... it occurs to me that they were being reverent, because the presence of Jesus commands reverence and awe, not sensationalism. When Jesus comes again, I have a hard time believing anybody would be so brazen as to try and cut in front of others to get close to Him. In His presence, there is peace, which the crowd here portrayed beautifully. Logistically, it is hard to bring 2,500 people on set to shoot these scenes. The filmmakers did a fantastic job (up for scrutiny, as illustrated!), and this portrayal of Jesus and His love and compassion is impeccable. It moved me deeply.
While I agree to some extent, it’s important to remember that the majority of the newer videos were shot during the worst parts of the pandemic, restrictions needed to be made. The most important thing is that now we have a video testifying of Christ’s visit to the americas that we can share with others
Glen I sorta agree with you but I guess they have a low budget to make these. I still enjoy watching them. I think the main thing about them is if the Spirit touches peoples souls then they are a great success. Also I would like to see them make a series type film instead of short clips. All that said I still greatly appreciate them.
Sadly I have to agree. Not just about the crowd but about the portrayal of Jesus. Sometimes it just feels like he's rattling off memorized lines, with no strong expression behind them. In contrast, the LDS Bible videos were performed with more depth and you can feel the power of the words of the Lord.
I love these videos! However, the elephant in the room: I really think they missed the mark on Jesus’ costuming. Too feminine of a style. And it is ugly at that. I’m sorry, I don’t think they chose the right actor, either. I don’t like his voice. The long narratives of the Savior’s sermons get long in the tooth listening to his voice.
The neat thing is when we’re humble and focus on repentance, it’s really easy to understand Jesus.

This is True!! 🙏🙏🙏🙏
Such a wonderful video. Thank you.
Amazing videos.
Glad you think so!
Amen
Beautiful ❤

Jesus was born in about 6 AD and died/ressurected in about 39 AD ❤
I think it was about 1 AD

If you watch or read the rest. He says he now goes to visit the other lost tribes.

If they are omitted it is likely that they weren't essential to make the point they were making.
These videos leave us with a great testimony of the Savior of the world. How blessed we are that we can read and understand it for ourselves
