- Most people have had nachos, but have you had griddled nachos? I wish I could say I invented them, but I didn't. A local brewery used to make these & took them off the menu so I now have to make them myself. Hope you give them a try!

In Frank I Trust.
No joke, I started grating cheese like you said and it’s been a whole new experience. Now I don’t have to fight with the cheese and I can eat more 😂
Yes!!! Finally a pro to teach everyone how to do it properly.
Thanks for not overlooking the simple nacho Frank (my favorite teacher)
I’ve never made them this way, but the essence of properly layering the nachos is KEY
You’re the one who taught me to put cheese on the BOTTOM of my oven nachos, which was life changing! This technique, though… is NEXT LEVEL! Definitely trying this tomorrow!
Found Valentine's Day dinner! Lord have mercy on our arteries.
It's so cute to me how you have your parakeet on your shoulder in every video.
Keep the videos coming, chef.
You got it!
Wow, I had these tonight. This should be the only way to make nachos. Amazing. Thanks, Frank!
I love nachos already and anything cooked by Chef Frank is chef’s kiss
dang, that looks good
omg awesome idea... i do the same ingredients but javen't done the cheese all the way
My favourite snack with a twist
That's clever. It's a shame that place doesn't offer them anymore
It's good to have this recipe going into the Usher show next week.
Doing this for the super bowl thank you
Hope you enjoy
Great video! Love your content Frank … well done! Question (I already know the answer “do it the way you want to do it!”) … why not add the pickled jalapeños to the chips on the griddle so they get incorporated into the melty cheese? Thanks again for making create content! What is in that fridge?😅
Should try chorizo with the refried beans, it’s super delicious and it gives a small spice
awwww i thought it was gonna be another foreman grill hack
but honestly who doesn't love fried cheese?
@7:30 ngl, I'd be wrecked with anxiety I'm gonna burn that cheese (and would). The things that separate pros vs amateurs.
"I grate my own cheese" what is this modern world where people need to have this explained 😢
The avocado crema could go in a bag, cut the tip and spread it as lines... a lot better (hmmm maybe you can do the same with the frijoles with a bigger cut in the bag) -- exquisito, gracias chef
Agreed!! Good idea.
Great idea! Couldn't you do this in a non-stick pan instead of a griddle as well? I don't think I have place in my kitchen anymore for another gadget...
Yes you can!
@@ProtoCookswithChefFrank Tried it yesterday, absolutely amazing!
I prefer to make a mornay sauce and have it in a squirt bottle along with crema. I find that having chips stuck together can be frustrating to eat. Never made them on a griddle before, will have to try that!
Sounds delicious.
That's..... different.
Chef is it better to us store-bought chips or make them from scratch 🤔?
All depends on how much time you have.
Pushing down is granny style
If you had a pizza oven and a couple steel peels you could just dish up nachos all night
Yep. Great thought!
Did you get your cheese at the not enough cheese store?
Did you train at Hogwarts School of Cookery? I love how the cilantro magically appeared at 0:23 of the video.
Chef Frank, do you go to restaurants often? If so, when you get your food, do you think, it's good/bad, but I can make it better at home. Are you over critical perhaps? :)
(nothing to do with this exact dish you are recreating at home now :) )
I try to enjoy but can be a little critical
Can you do it on a cast iron griddle?
Not sure if the cheese will stick or not.
When do you start cooking adult food?
?
I, an adult, LOVE nachos. I make them once a month at least in the oven. Quick easy dinner you can load with protein and veggies and the kids love it. Thanks Chef!
Except for the guest who uses one hand (beer in the other) and pulls the whole thing off the plat onto the floor because the cheese has the whole mess glued together. I like this one in theory, but not in practicality. This is great as a snack to share with one or 2, but I wouldn't serve it at a party. Great as always Frank
Good point!
Why does the production quality look like 1990’s public access TV? 😂
😭 Why did you choose a Mexican recipe while Lunar New Year is about to come ? 😭
Super Bowl
Oh right. I live in Asia so I didn't know.
By the way, happy lunar new year !
