here is an ironical observation for you:
given that we do not obey the scriptures and that our disobedience shows our unbelief the only good that will come from finding the most authentic translation of sacred scripture ( I am a believer BTW) is that our culpability for our disobedience will increase immensely
but of course scholars prefer to search for ancient manuscripts rather than to repent and obey the more or less accurate text we have before us
