- Leather is a natural material that is sensitive to light, moisture and water.
To keep your Montblanc leather product in perfect condition and color fading, Montblanc recommends not exposing it to high temperatures or direct sunlight for long periods of time. In case of contact with water, it should be dried with a soft cloth as soon as possible.
To preserve its natural softness, Montblanc recommends treating the leather product with a neutral leather care product.

I'm curious about the leather quality, I've recently seen videos of high end fashion brands that sell very cheap quality leather at premium prices because it has a name associated with it.
Seen a colleagues wallet today. It's advertised as full grain on their website but was actually heavily coated split.
The leather on the bags is second to none, I have a travel duffel and maesterstuck laptop bag and they’re just wonderful, far far nicer than my Duchamp equivalents. Cannot speak for accessories but would be surprised if they’re not excellent also.
@@danielburke9980 thank you. I've been very impressed with a lot of the richemont maisons, they seem like they always value quality. I had bought two pairs of cufflinks from montblanc and they're lovely and the customer service was very good too. some companies just shove their label on more and more products, but mont blanc really put a lot of dedication into the cufflinks i bought so I had a feeling the bags would be just as good
This one’s no different. There’s a leather worker (on UA-cam) that takes this bag apart piece by piece to reveal only the outer layer of the bag is true leather.
@@Jason-pq5mq yeah I saw he covered this exact bag recently. It didn't actually disturb me that the inner part of the bag wasn't leather. that's pretty common to use a different material as lining for a bag, one where you don't care if it gets scratched or stained by the contents you put in your bag...
and in that video, he kept on saying how the employee lied to him, but let's be honest, the employee made a mistake. They specialize in pens, have probably 1000 different products from watches to cufflinks to small leather goods etc, and it's hard to memorize all the details of each product perfectly + it looks like leather and feels like leather (the inside), and the company didn't list it as leather on the website which really is the official product spec. To a non leather-worker (sales associate) something that looks like leather and knowing mont-blanc really does make extremely high quality everything it seems understandable where a mix up could take place.
either way it did look like an extremely high quality bag and I'll be getting one in the future. it was helpful in making that decision.
I thought his design choices were cool to use the white leather but I don't see mont-blanc's choice as bad, it was just a more conservative look
Guys do not but this leather the inner lining is just fake PU leather a channel name tanner leatherstein who is a leather expert reviewed this briefcase
