Honestly? Solid remake. I knew the music was going to be the same but I didn’t expect it to send shivers down my spine. One of my favorite Wii tracks for sure
How I think this track would work for the Booster Course Pass in Mario Kart 8: This lap would have two Mario Kart gates: the original gate and the Trick version's gate, with the latter on top of the former. The original gate's design could either match the original design or the Mario Kart Tour design. The first lap is the original version, but starting from Lap 2, chain-link roads start appearing, their positions being identical to the Trick variant. At this point, the racers will have the option to get to that second Mario Kart gate and trigger Lap 3 that way. Afterwards, the racers will be forced to take the original route starting from inside the temple.
Im gonna be honest, I’m glad this track didn’t make it into the BCP. It’s a good track don’t get me wrong, but its Tour remake disrespected my favorite Mario character Yoshi by removing the Yoshi Sphinx! I’ll never forgive this track for doing that
@@prestonandtom9337 - Having their placements swapped automatically make the datamine not 100% accurate. So, I still retain hope for Dry Dry Ruins making it in.
The track amount from each game is still 100% correct only the placements have shifted so unfortunately Dry Dry Ruins is pretty unlikely to be in the game. It’ll either be it or Rainbow Road depending if the last track of the BCP is something else other than the last Wii track.
Maybe because in Tour they may make it tougher to exit and come in the tunnel, the sand part also is made easier in Tour than Wii, the course is made easier than Wii due to auto controls.
@@dustymcwari4468 Yes that's why, they could return if the course comes back in DLC in Deluxe, even the half pipes are easier to get too now since the sand is smaller in area than in Wii, you had the use mushroom in that but now no as required.

I cannot believe daisy circuit beat this track out in wave 6. I like daisy circuit and all, but this track is much better imo
this track deserves better than Tour
Yeah it needs to be in Mario kart 8 deluxe
@@kolkagaming1234 no, please no
@@lem2tlifenineDon’t listen to them. Nintendo chose Koopa Cape.
And moonview highway but I always thought moonview was a better choice
No
Most wanted course for the dlc. This and toads factory
things did not go so well
i still have hope that this track and koopa cape make it into the dlc. This could go in one of the empty slots in wave 6.
Wave 6 probably gets rainvow road tho

They forgot the swoopers from when you enter and exit the ruins!
The only Wii track in Tour that’s not in the Booster Course Pass :(
If I were Nintendo, I would’ve picked THIS for Wave 6 over Daisy Circuit.

The half pipes really don’t work well in this game and I want this is Mario kart 8 the leaks haven’t been 100% accurate so there’s still hope
Yes they have, Nintendo just swapped some of the tracks positions.

Why the R/T variant has only 2 item box while the other have 3?
Why did they get rid of the bats?

I think the map is smaller in scale here, there's not a lot of room for the bats at the bridge and exit of the pyramid

Technically they didn’t, in the reverse variant bats can be seen in the cave
