I always wanted to see how you would fight ganon,but it is sad because it marks the end of the botw walkthrough. Glad you took the time to release it
Is that about how you pictured it? So sad I legit had teary eyes first playthrough... The end cutscenes got me 😂
@@leveluproyal yea you stuck to your fighting style and made it look easy. I also went with ancient profiency and attack meal. I didn't know daruck protection reflected his laser though. I was trying to parry those. The totk story got me a little teary

I didn't know power up meals stacked with the Ancient armour! I didn't find this one too bad - the mad monk in the DLC was much harder! Great video again! I really struggled with BOTW - I was scared of everything! I'd only ever played puzzle games prior to that and I tried several walkthroughs but none of them helped - until I found yours! The idea of not following the game's direction on to Kakariko and going to the rain forest to get royal weapons instead was inspired.
I have watched every episode of the walkthrough several times and gained so much confidence - I no longer take death personally and save a lot more often - thank you for all your hard work - without your play throughs, I would have put the game aside and never gone back, so many many thanks from a fearless (not quite) lynel killer!
Agreed the monk was pretty tough, probably the best fight in the game. Thank you for all your feedback, that helps me understand what gets folks attention..., and I'm happy you appreciated the rain forest raid so early on! That's probably what I was most eager to share with folks :)

I’m going to do another play through with your videos as I didn’t find them until I was halfway through the game the first time. Thank you so much for making this walkthrough. I have followed your complete botw walkthrough from beginning to end and it has been amazing. When I played this game the first time through I was aimlessly wandering around killing the same base level enemies and going through the game step by step, I had lost interest early on. When I wanted to try the game out again I found your walkthrough and it was a complete game changer. I was terrified of guardians and lynels before your walkthrough, but now I'm actively seeking them out for fun. I took your advice and purchased the DLC and I'm so glad that I did! I am at the final battle but don't want the adventure to end so instead I'll be following your totk walkthrough, I already loved totk so I am ecstatic to see how much better it will be with your walkthrough (I'm sure I missed out on a ton just like I was in botw) off to my next adventure, happy hunting!

I am at the end of my 3rd playthru of BOTW in the last few years.
I will probably play TOTK a second time and will follow your walk thrus instead of blind plays as I did my first time. Didn’t love it as much as- too much exchanging with the rocks and power packs etc. and was not that into building items either.

I finally go and beat Ganon after 150+ hours playing. Next I'm gonna continue with the prequel (Hyrule Warrior) and then maybe later the TOTK. Thank you, and happy hunting!
Thank you! I'm really happy you enjoyed the game :))) ummm, you may want to research hyrule warriors before you buy. It's not really a Zelda game, it's more like an old school Konami game where you just run around getting lots of KOs. TotK is probably what you're looking for...
I played BotW 3 times and didn’t want it to end, so I didn’t kill Calamity Gannon. I stopped playing just before the end. Then TotK came along and I’m not skilled enough to end that so that’s another excuse! I can’t complete most of the Proving Grounds because of my anxiety. I love your videos and thank you!
thank you!...3 playthroughs wow thats awesome!!! those proving grounds are tough so its not just you...for me there is always death lol!! but im figuring tricks out for most of them, hopefully it will help when the time comes :)
Came here out of curiosity to see how you’d approach this final chapter. Definitely surreal watching BOTW again after being immersed in TOTK for so long. I don’t know how you so easily toggle between the vastly different game/attack plays of the two games. If I went back to BOTW now I think it’d take me quite some time to get used to it! Anyway, interesting to see how you did this - as others here, I really disliked how the game just ends after the fight. I’m not sure how else they could’ve continued but it just felt deflating to have the credits roll so soon after so much time & energy invested into the story.
Did you see the "true ending" in BOTW? If you unlocked all the Divine Beasts and found all 18 of the Memory locations, then after the credits roll there will be an additional final cut scene (the "true ending"). From the beginning of the description of that scene, "After the credits roll and show Link and Zelda together again, in their Hylian garb, looking upon a Hyrule that’s full of life and devoid of any evil forces. Zelda’s work isn’t done though. .." In the end, she smiles beatifically at Link and tells him, "Let's be off!" (I've watched a UA-cam video of the "true ending.") So, I found that upbeat and hopeful and it kinda segues into the beginning of TOTK where everything seems fine until Zelda feels the need to see what's below Hyrule Castle!
you may have noticed wrong button presses especially in the menus lol...thats usually where it gets me. i have a bloopers video the first time i went back and it was a mess! deflating...thats a good way to put it and agreed.
Oh I hadn't heard about that! Thank you, I will definitely look out for that. Is it part of the official content, or a user-created alternative ending? (not saying that's bad but curious if the devs actually knew some folks would feel deflated, so created a little Easter egg for those who'd really persisted all the way through...)

@@adundas5585 It's officially part of the game, a bonus for those who've completed all the Memories. If you search on "BOTW true ending" or "BOTW multiple endings," you can find lots of analysis about the meaning of it all. Perhaps it's to discourage speed running through the game just to kill Ganon. The folks who played more completely get bragging rights to knowing "the true ending." Personally, as endings go, I like the earlier cut scene where Zelda clasps her hands together as if meditating, looks down at them, and unleashes her true power. And that scene provides the answer with a bang to all Zelda's lamentations in the Memory sequences about not being able to find her power, yada yada. That was the awesome apocalyptic ending of BOTW for me. The stuff that came after that was kinda anticlimatic.

Great video and commentary (your "camerawork" makes your videos!). Too bad you didn't show the cut scene with Zelda finally "packaging" Ganon up. Zelda never gets enough credit (although she's depicted on the BOTW Piggyback book cover in her final act against Ganon!). She managed to contain Ganon mostly for 100 years until Link recovers! I'm just like you. I've never completed BOTW because I didn't want the game to end until I did 100% completion, including the DLC, which hasn't happened yet (thanks so much for the DLC walkthrough, too!). Perhaps in an earlier video you mentioned the importance of having all the Divine Beasts before going to Hyrule Castle for the end. Whatever one you're missing, you'll have to fight in Hyrule Castle before you face Ganon, IIRC. (But you make it look so easy, that shouldn't be a problem!). Thanks so much for the video. If I ever decide to face the bittersweet ending of BOTW, I'll be back for a refresher here before facing Ganon. Am already looking forward to seeing how you handle Ganondorf in the Depths of TOTK at the end there.
thank you!! its funny you mention that cut scene...i was on the fence about that. i decided against because if someone wants to finish it i felt they should have the option to experience those for themselves... i may do another video, a quick fight version, but show all the cutscenes with a "spoilers notice", again just to give folks the option. So happy to see this video! I had no idea about the ancient proficiency bonus on this fight, I can't remember what my strategy was but it probably would have gone a whole lot easier had I known that fact! This is why I love your videos, I'm always learning something new (even 5+ years post launch lol).
On a side note, do you think you'll ever get around to doing the master sword trials? I've always been too chicken to start them, would love to know/see your strategy for it (if you have one). Thanks again for another awesome video 😊

Honestly the DLC monk was harder. It was easier than I thought it would be. But I’m glad I didn’t die a million times so thank you.

@@leveluproyal I don’t know. I’m really emotionally attached to my horses. I work very hard to get them to the stable. I had to pass TWO lynels every time in order to get them to the stable. So I hit continue playing so I could keep my horses. I would hit “new game” but I don’t know if I could find my horses again.

Just got the helm and the best part of ancient armor. Had a fairy increase defense twice on the vest. Working to get 3 ancient cores for the pants. Been killing those wlkn guardians all night lol
🤣🤣 theres quite a few shrines that have them in chests too...but i find the best hunting grounds are a good old fashioned castle raid or the guardians right outside the castle and throughout the field. it may take a bit, but this suit is worth it :) thank you for posting!
