New way to escape Dark Beast Ganon in BOTW (DO NOT SAVE)

- I was fooling around with the Moon Jump glitch and ended up escaping the Dark Beast Ganon fight. I made a step by step tutorial to show you how. It takes longer than the other tactic but it's easier

**Remember not to save while trying this glitch, or Calamity Ganon will be forever spawned in the Castle. Yep, saving during Dark Beast isn't all you should worry about. Here are the effects of Calamity Ganon always being spawned:
•The Master Cycle can't be summoned
•The Amiibo rune doesn't work
•Your horse can't teleport to you even if you have the Ancient Saddle equipped
•Shops never restock items, so everything is basically a limited time offer
So yeah, just reload an old save after you try this or you could really break some stuff. **
PS. Turns out I'm not the first one to find this glitch, I thought I did because nobody made any vidoes on it before me. So yes, I found out how to do this on my own but that doesn't give me the credit.

I completed the ultimate circle. During the dark beast ganon fight, I went to the shrine of resurrection, stripped off my master sword, hylian shield, bow of light, and tunic of the wild, and killed myself.
The circle of death
That’s not posible cuz the terminal at the shrine of resurrection (which starts the dlc) will not load while the dark beast ganon is happening, also almost all NPCs in hyrule are missing and the same goes for shrines
I would love to see one where you clip out of the SOR, so when you exit the shrine later with Gannon visible, you get the real opening cutscenes there. 😁😁😁

True but that's because (some of) this is footage from the first time I did this (when I thought I discovered it) so I didn't know what to expect
But I know it's possible to get it in time of u jump off your horse and glide

I couldn’t make it till beast ganon’s fight because I was taken back to the tower while I was fighting calamity ganon! I that moment I decided to save the game and now there is no floor in the sanctum and I can’t use the motorcycle? Any suggestion to make the floor appear again?
Same thing happened to me when I fought windblight ganon during the flight test. Maybe if u defeat Calamity Ganon and dark beast normally it will fix the floor (or at least the motorcycle)
I have already tried but it remains bugged!😩

Actually, have you tried opening one of the gambling chests in lurelin village? If I remember correctly, that resets hyrule... or maybe not idk
Yeah it partially fixes it, and most of the NPCs come back. The catch is that Ganon doesn't despawn and a lot of enemies are missing
I was hit during Ganon fight and the guy from the tower teleported me, now the game thinks I’m still fighting Ganon and I cannot use the motorcycle or teleport my horse. What can I do?
The same thing happened to be me before. Try reloading to a save from before you fought Ganon
If you don’t got any saves then rip your game file

The process was basically just getting to Hyrule castle and Ganon damage-less with a slow moon jump :(
What if i killed ganon in the glitched hyrule?
Not sure because I never managed to get the bow of light but my guess is it would bring u back to normal hyrule

Just hear to say, I have not yet 100% this game, and about two weeks ago from the time Im writing this, I lost a 97.8% game to this glitch. Told some friends, and they sent me the song lucid dreams by juice wrld and said this was me but about my save file. After I was done sobbing, i asked myself, should I really make a new file? I did so much. But I always too close to end it there. I started my new master mode file and am about 15% in so far. I’ll update if anything happens.

It is too bad it will not let you save after beating calamity gannon then going to somewhere to save the game without glitching. Like what if I wanted to get more health and food before the final fight. I understand the fact if you beat the game you should be able to fight calamity gannon again as many times as you like. This is my opinion, does anyone agree?

do NOT skip the cinematics when try to fight (for the second time) calamity ganon. it just crash the game lmao

The wall glitch still works but it's harder in my opinion
ThornyFox The one with the shield clip is easier imo. it doesn’t make you walkjump to hyrule castle for 5 straight minutes and you get the bow of light with the shield clip one

@@barretthoven you need a skew for this clip right? Does the skew usually stay during the fight and then the loading screen?
@@jordanbatista9042 Skews lasts between save loads (i.e. you can get a skew and load a different save), heck, it lasts between **modes** (you can get a skew in Normal Mode and retain it after loading a Master Mode save). The only way to lose a skew is by closing he game or landing on your shield (or repeatedly successfully skewing through walls on a ingle skew s this will weaken it).

could you get the bow of light then hop on the horse and keep it? idk i'll probably try that out soon.
also do you know exactly how long it took to get from ridgeland to the sanctum?
Probably about 10 to 15 minutes, but windbombing could speed it up. I actually learned of a much faster way to escape ganon though, all you need is a metal box and stasis

Came back to say I didn't know how to turn autosave off and I'm forced to be in a world with the dark beast Gannon fight

Lol I learned that do not save part the hard way when I clipped out then went to fight windblight while bd was alive and when I got out the game did an auto save and I manually saved and it was on master mode so I only had two save files, yeah never saw that save again
How you get the bow of light doing this
Wait are you able to teleport when you are out of the dark beast Ganon fight?
By default no, but if you go to Lurelin and do the chest minigame, you're able to teleport again. I'm pretty sure it disables after you leave the game though, so you'll need to go back every time

It actually is in the throne room, it's the Calamity Ganon symbol that's off. After doing this glitch i found out that it tricks the game into thinking Ganon is spawned, so his symbol is moved to the underground arena
I should have seen this video before... I've learnt this bug from another video who didn't warn about the autosabes and now I can't be back to normal...

u can just get a skewfrom one of the ruined buildings inside the barrier and shield clip or extended shield clip through which requires no previous setup other than having a shield

Thanks for the glitch but I figured out you can use the travel medallion to teleport back into the ganon boss fight by putting it close to the light barrier and have the bow of light and teleport outside of the boss fight👌🏼👀

You should try to find a way to fix the master cycle glitch I maxed out my account and then said why not to leaving the final battle but then my game broke and I just bought all the amibo and cant use them because of the glitch

I done fucked up I recommend you don’t try this cuz you need to keep a save file and I did but I saved too early doing the glitch and it over righted it
if u accidentally save you can backup save data if you have switch online, but i think its too late if u closed the game

how can you undo what you did?
I can’t get the part after the arrow shooting thing where the horse u got on is glitched I just end it and I get spawned on my original horse
When you land on the horse does it start jumping or instantly run off with you on it? If it's running then the game thinks it's already tamed, so it doesn't work. You can also look up some Moon Jump tutorials if you need more details from the nerds
I glitched out of the fight I'm just stuck in this world at least I beat him from outside
I saved ... I think i still have an older save before skipping the battle. Does the game work normally if i load that one now?
Other question. What if i kill dark beast now. Will the game load the save i did out of the battle pr the one before the battle.
I would suggest Reload the older save
Beating ganon will just load your most recent save (the one that you made after doing the glitch)

Yeah it's pretty random with the timing of his call. Here is an even easier glitch to escape the fight though. At the northern border of the barrier there are some metal boxes, and you can use one of them to clip through the wall like in Trial of the Sword.
folks, don't be stupid like me and save the game just because you might be curious if what happens if you do such a thing, I lost my save, I'm currently trying to save it but, don't try it, just don't

1- Kill ganon
2- Kill myself
3- Get lost in lost woods
4- Enter the trial of the sword

Just reload a older save file before you did this.
@@MrKevin486 Well, I saved while doing the glitch, so I didn't have a "not-ruined" safe file. I had to start a new game. I was really sad about that, but now, I'm even farer than on my old file. Anyways, thanks for your advice :)

Yeah sorry, i did make a warning somewhere in the video but I should have been more clear about it. If you don't reload a save file made before you did the glitch, the master cycle and amiibo runes will stop working because the game thinks Calamity Ganon is always spawned

@@jakantogenie so far I haven't found any fixes but it's always possible. In the meantime I've adapted to using windbombs to get around fast without the motorcycle

Yeah sorry this isn't a great way to get it, but I recently heard of a much easier way where you stasis a metal box to clip through the wall. Using that tactic you'll have enough time as you need to grab the bow

@@bluemaster1091 so for the stasis clip, you don't need to do the moon jump glitch. But escaping Ganon (in any way) will glitch Hyrule, so if you do this be sure to reload an older save when you're done. Also np

if you want to back to normal world you have to go to lurelin Village first and play a game of chests there. thanks to this you will be able to teleport to shrine, then you have to return to the golden wall and put your teleport in it and then teleport to it.
