  • All the planning in the world is wasted if we never actually execute the plan. The good news is that we can take action to change our lives while we are still afraid. Take the leap scared! The 'courage' comes after the fact.

I left the City of Brotherly Love back in 1997. After the loss of my mother @ 20 years old. I was on a spiraling road of sadness and depression while raising my infant son.. I finally knew I had to do something different or possibly go down hill , and I knew my son deserved more. I saved my $ and moved to Florida where my mother's sister lived and started a fresh new life. THANK YOU GOD I did it. Our lives would not be where we are now, and that is a peace that I now have within, alongside of happiness... JUST DO IT !!!!! Guys.. You live ONCE

Paralysis by analysis is real and it's why a lot of people never actually do the things they want to do. They "What if?" themselves into a box and never take a risk. Once you take a leap of faith you'll be amazed at how easy it actually was and you were stressed out over nothing.

My dad always said “you should be scared. If you’re making major life changes and you’re NOT scared, there would be something wrong with you.”
And I never really thought about it but I agree, Tim. You don’t realize you’ve been courageous until you’ve done it, look at what you done and realize wow! Look what i did.

In my mind you won the game of life, you don't ever have to work a regular job again, the most important part is that you travel for a living. Most people would kill to be in your position. I started over at least 10 times in my life. Most of those involved me not even considering that I was starting over. I just did it. Make a decision or someone will make a decision for you. I will say that through meditation and stoic philosophy I understand that staying present helps immensely. Yesterday no longer exists and tomorrow doesn't either, only now. That now is an unknown arena for most people. The unknown is where the magic happens, and unfortunately fear of the unknown is what holds us back.

I was always the strongest and most courages person I know, but this leap thing is another level 👀
I never thought there would be this “threshold”, I never saw it (cos never standing in front of it) and it’s in the most weird way the scariest thing ever 🙏🏼 and the scariest thing is the thought “what if I’m too afraid to make the leap and will then live a life always regretting it?” This is more scary so I think I’ll just do it…soon…now…😅

I get what you're saying. Tim, you're saying there ain't nothing to it but to do it. I know that life can be challenging and we can at times feel overwhelmed or exhausted. Being a warrior when life gets hard and retreat back into the comfort zone. The comfort zone is a great place to retreat and heal, but the problem with the comfort zone is you can get stuck there because a lot of us would avoid pain for pleasure. When life is going good it's easy to feel confident, but when the traumas and hard times arrive Life doesn't feel so easy. Some people say life is a walk in the park and some people say it's more like Jurassic Park

It is so refreshing to hear this message co firming back what we ALL must face, in order to grow. Do it die. I must take the leap because I can’t no longer live with the alternative of not trying. Another wasted life! Ty sir

I need to quit letting fear take the wheel and hold me back. its okay for fear to be there but she needs to sit all the way in the trunk, underneath stuff lol. thank you for this inspiring video!!! now have to spend the next couple months saving and then will be taking a leap of faith into a new career path. my soul is craving something different and more meaningful and this was the kick in the butt I needed!! thank you!!

You can take action even when you’re afraid! SO TRUE! Love that!
I read the book Feel The Fear and Do It Anyway many years ago… yup, confidence comes after the leap, not before.
I think maybe the key is ALSO having some excitement for the leap. Without it, can get stuck in the fear.
And even before that, it’s knowing WHAT you want to leap to. Right now, I don’t, but I know I wanna leap, and I’m ready.

I think the bottom line is to be brutally honest. That's where is the stumbling point where most fall. Fear has to be replaced with faith.

Thank you Tim. I kinda feel like I already knew this, but a lot of the time I need to hear someone else say things so I can believe myself. The part about the atoms makes perfect sense to me. Thank you again Tim. Have a blessed day.

We don't find our courage until we take action while experiencing fear. Sometimes the fear has to be intense enough to motivate us to take action and thus find our courage. By taking action we focus on our goal and the steps we are taking towards the goal which lessens the intensity of the fear... even taking a small step that shows the result we're going for gives us some courage to keep going to the next step and the next and the next. But even to try and fail when failure is what we fear shows us we have the courage to have another go at it and usually with more knowledge and information than before.
