It's crazy how well these different side stories all line up without messing up the timeline. And your excellent work showing that is the reason i now can appreciate it this much
Neumann and Janssen being in another room of the P-Sec building checks out because you hear gunfire within P-Sec headquarters at the same time McNeill and Weller are just entering and Sam doesn't have a gun. Also the people in the big ore vessels would have made it if they flew outside the colony unloaded all the crap inside far away and then took off for space.
True but unfortunately panic took hold in the colonists by that time. The vast majority of the colony was already dead and most of the dead were already hunting down the survivors as necromorphs. Even if they made it out the Ishimura would of shot them down anyway and even then someone already reached the Ishimura with a infector and a necromorph on board which we know managed to start up the outbreak on the Ishimura. The colonists were doomed no matter what really.
I am in love with the structure of this. The UI being the same as the game, the little hands wearing the suit. The ability to tell the story while also going over the point of the video, instead of just skimming over the story like most channels would. Bravo man this video is amazing!

All the lore surrounding the first Dead Space game was so cool, especially the events of the Aegis VII colony. Great work and thank you for putting this together!
My question was always how that was a surprise to him. Like dude, you _run_ the fucking colony, how in the flying hell do you not know you have a morgue?
Guessing when he says that he's basically saying it to mean that the room that hadn't been used really was now being used so much that it was surprising. I'd assume before it was used a few times for its intended use but wasn't really known as anything & out of the blue it needs to take over 50 dead & well he's trying to make light of the dark situation.

I was highly doubtful that no one on Aegis VII got out. This was amazing, I never knew about the spin-offs. Only the main 3 Dead Space games. The way you pieced the events together helped me understand what happened in Aegis VII a lot more. When I was there with Isaac I can barely imagine what took place.

Hats of to you, m8, probably the best video there is about what happened to Aegis VII, at least the best one I watched, The combination of the comics, games and movies as a very detailed Video Log is astonishing, also the memes added a good spice to it.
Happened to stumble upon this vid and the chanel after completing d3ad space and watching some other content. I cant remember when last ive seen such high quality content. The timeline construction, meme usage, voice overs, visuals, everything impecable. Kudos
Troops would only make it worse, think zombies in close quarters. The more men you lose, the more numbers the enemy gains. But Nukes/glassing it? Yes! Then again this is a future where humanity was more or less trying to outrun it's resource extinction, has a nutjob religion, and a company that cares for profit over lives. All things that need to be assured won't ever happen, or if they do, they're tightly controlled or disbanded. Because the damage seen here in-universe even without the Markers, means a race forced to start over with untold billions dead.
This is the best explanation of what happened in the Colony that I've ever seen, I've always been confused on the timeline and how certain things led to another. Amazing video!
Stellar video! Loving attention was put into the lore and timing everything up! The way you presented the audio log for the shuttle bay crash was *chefs kiss* I'm definitely saving this video for the next time I need to brush up on the lore. I would LOVE to see this same treatment done to the events and individuals on the Ishimura before the Kellion arrives.

If you could do the Ishimura too, it would be so cool!

The aesthetic, the narration, the frames to show the characters involved, the dubbing for the comics, everything is expertly thought out. Even the subtitles for the video have been made ! This was a wonderly put-together video with a beautiful presentation right out of the universe, with just enough meme moments to be funny without getting distracting 👏
Honestly, it is really impressive how perfectly the game and the external media projects line up. Usually stuff like this gets muddied between production or more slips theough the cracks. But it's so very clear that Dead Space was a passion project for Visceral and their writers. I'm so happy that the remake from 2023 was made with the same care and passion, if from a different team.
wow, god damn, honestly this is almost like watvhing a movie the way you stitched this all together, watched the whole thing, can wait for the ishimura death toll.
This was a very good cover of the story of the Aegis-7 colony, put everything together cohesively and was easy to follow. Also appreciated the little bits of flair you put in, great job dude! 👍
I love the rig death noise. Like absolutely spine chilling imagining a person struggle frantically just to have a flat gear monitor but the only thing reading your guns
This was such a cool watch as someone who loves the DS lore. The splicing of relevant events during the Aegis VII incident was well done since so much craziness happened during that time.

I just beat Dead Space Remake, and I saw that they had added some new story beats and I wanted to catch up on lore and stumbled upon your video and im so glad I did, you made my experience so much better for it.
This was an awesome video. I'm not even into Dead Space, but this lore video you made was so interesting and so well written. I was able to keep up with the story and I was hooked for the entire hour. I also loved the little inserts of memes and funny stuff. You killed it and I really hope to see more videos like this.
In my school game, the colony leader of CEC was arrested and sentenced to execution for the Suricide of 48 people and the illegal mining of Aegis VII, that's not all. Isaac Clark assisted the Exterrestial Peace Officer Goalius in the Extermination of 2 different Hive Minds (1 made from the biomass of the 48 Suricide and the other made as a byproduct the removal of the marker)
As someone who also had the misfortune of watching both the Dead Space films; well done on drawing something so interesting and informative from such puerile slop!
The best video if you just finished the remake and want to dive deeper into the lore. To the creator I hope one day you continue with the events that take place in the Ishimura.

It's been over a decade and we're still enjoying what this universe held for us, the untold horrors and stories
I love the little bits of humour mixed in with the semi serious tone of the video. Marvelous work!
i loved how this has been put together, hope to see others made like this of the other events
The efforts that went into this video is absolutely insane, from the animations to the extensive study of the lore, events and timelines. This video shoud have millions of views. Instead, barely anyone that played the games knows about it.
Such a shame of under-appreciated talent....
I hope you make a dead space video for the Ishimura. This was S teir editing and story telling. I am beyond amazed that this doesn't have over 1 million views!
Character stories before Isaac Clarke's arrival is so intriguing. I love it so much.
really admire your work here, so comprehensive story telling !
The production quality of this video is so insane. This feels like an official Dead Space thing.
dude the quality and sweat that you've put into this video is insane, huge hype for part 2 (hopefully)
Underrated video compared to the effort. This deserves so much more
My god, the amount of lore and with it’s tie-in is just so fascinating to watch!
I love how you edit this using the asset from dead space and the joke’s are so Well done!
You’ve just earned a subscriber!
You know I'm happy someone actually talks about the mobile game. Was starting to think it never existed at this rate
The level effort of that you've put into organising your visual presentation is tremendous. Definitely one of my favourite analysis videos on one of my favourite franchises. Incredibly well-articulated and laid out chronologically for ease of viewing. When you have the time, please do one for Dead Space 2 and 3. ^^
Hats of to you, m8, probably the best video there is about what happened to Aegis VII, at least the best one I watched,
The combination of the comics, games and movies as a very detailed Video Log is astonishing, also the memes added a good spice to it.
Happened to stumble upon this vid and the chanel after completing d3ad space and watching some other content.
I cant remember when last ive seen such high quality content. The timeline construction, meme usage, voice overs, visuals, everything impecable.
Kudos
This was actually pretty good, you should do videos for the death tolls aboard the Ishimura and Titan Station if you ever get around to doing that.
This is written so well, I really hope you do the Ishimura since I haven't checked yet. You did awesome, man!!
Always baffled me how Earthgov didn't glass any of these places or just dump hundreds of thousands of troops.
Unit ology infiltrated and enabled everything. Nothing could have stopped the unification
cause they're incompetent
This video brings my dead space Brainrot to a highest point.
Amazing explanation. Would love to see the Ishimura video later down the line!
This is the best explanation of what happened in the Colony that I've ever seen, I've always been confused on the timeline and how certain things led to another. Amazing video!
"Relax, it's dead" 46:30
Is... is he stupid?
Man, this video was epic. I love the detail you went into, and the edits are so good.
If you get in their shoes, this is such a tragedy, loosing that many people in a few days and a lot of these is because of panic, this is insane.
By the way, amazing video, I'm a massive fan of Dead Space and this contextualize the before perfectly. The use of every medium is done beautifully. If you could do the Ishimura too, it would be so cool!
this video is amazing. i never thought i'd be this engrossed in dead space lore
This video is so well made, It's nice seeing people passionate enough to take the time to create such good content.
The aesthetic, the narration, the frames to show the characters involved, the dubbing for the comics, everything is expertly thought out. Even the subtitles for the video have been made !
Anyway, thanks a lot for an incredible job
Thank you so much! I had a ton of fun making this one, and I'm glad that it all came together nicely in the end
I'm impressed how well edited this is.
This sort of content is ovbiously made with passion, need more stuff like this on youtube.
Thank you V-limit 💕 hope your able to do a part 2
Thank you so much! The current view count has me considering doing it a few videos down the line instead of right away, but I definitely want to have it done at some point in the future
This is insane work being put together
Bro this the best kill count/storyline videos I've ever seen on Dead Space tying the comic/extraction parts of the movie masterful work man thank you so much.
I just beat Dead Space Remake, and I saw that they had added some new story beats and I wanted to catch up on lore and stumbled upon your video and im so glad I did, you made my experience so much better for it.
Nah, this gotta be one of the best videos I ever seen.
This was an awesome video. I'm not even into Dead Space, but this lore video you made was so interesting and so well written. I was able to keep up with the story and I was hooked for the entire hour. I also loved the little inserts of memes and funny stuff. You killed it and I really hope to see more videos like this.
Thank you so much! And I'm definitely glad to hear it can be enjoyed by those not familiar with the series
I love these kinds of videos the way you talk about the story and everything in detail is amazing love your work!
Thank you so much!
Xcellent job.
I LOVE these "summaries" of stories , Like THIS one.
it's Good, for those of us who aren't so Heavily Invested in a game franchise

In my school game, the colony leader of CEC was arrested and sentenced to execution for the Suricide of 48 people and the illegal mining of Aegis VII, that's not all. Isaac Clark assisted the Exterrestial Peace Officer Goalius in the Extermination of 2 different Hive Minds (1 made from the biomass of the 48 Suricide and the other made as a byproduct the removal of the marker)
Your fanfics ?
Great editing and balance of information and humor! Just subscribed
As someone who also had the misfortune of watching both the Dead Space films; well done on drawing something so interesting and informative from such puerile slop!
wow this was a great video. The attention to detail was much appreciated bro
The quality of this video is fucking ridiculous you’re criminally underrated
The best video if you just finished the remake and want to dive deeper into the lore.
To the creator I hope one day you continue with the events that take place in the Ishimura.
