Which is a great way to look at our past, present and future. Man made fire wasn’t possible, until it was. Flying wasn’t possible until it was. Going to the moon? Impossible, until it wasn’t. You get the drift, everything is impossible until it’s not.
We will achieve landing and colonising other planets, we will be able to travel at or greater than the speed of light and if somehow if our species becomes eternal (which is impossible of course, until it’s not), we will eventually become something of a TVA for our own universe.
All of the above is impossible, for now.

    • @TF2CrunchyFrog
      @TF2CrunchyFrog 11 місяців тому +5

No. Sorry to demolish that hypothesis, but:
      (1) Loki was already pruned once, back in Season 1. So was Sylvie, so was Mobius, and all the other Loki variants we saw at the End of Time.
      (2) Loki's time-slipping started precisely after Sylvie had used the special tempad of He Who Remains to open a time portal to kick Loki back into the TVA from the End of Time.
      (3) The "TVA Loki" (who originated from within the Sacred Timeline!) is special because his Nexus Event was being involved in the Avengers' time-travel shenanigangs during Endgame. Loki escaping from 2012's New York with the Tesseract and being captured by the TVA and thus being removed from the Sacred Timeline always _was_ part of He Who Remains' plan... HWR said so himself to Loki and Sylvie! Judge Renslayer was wrong when she convicted Loki because Renslayer didn't know.
In fact, the TVA turning up to remove the escaped Loki along with the Tesseract _is what created a branch in the first place!!_ If the TVA had simply grabbed the wayward Loki, sedated him, deleted his memories of the past 5 minutes (of seeing the TVA agents) and of Mongolia, and had dropped Loki and the Tesseract back into New York somewhere were Thor and the Avengers would stumble across him and take him prisoner again, _everything would have proceeded again as originally seen in the Avengers movie!_ If the Avengers time-traveling to 2012 and meeting their own past selves, with Captain American even fighting himself, didn't create a branch because "it was supposed to happen", then Loki escaping briefly for 5 min only to be recaptured immediately and then sent to Asgard to be in prison in time for _The Dark World_ would not have changed the grand flow of the story. But the TVA intervened, took the Tesseract out of that point in time, and prune the entire branch they had created instead of letting it rejoin the main thread.
Which also means that Captain America would not be able to return the Time Stone that Banner had received from the 2012 Ancient One t othat moment, because that moment was gone. Unless that moment happened conveniently shortly before Loki escaped.

I absolutely loved this episode! It was insane! Every scene and moment was just so incredible! I thought that the writing was incredible, the acting was amazing, and the tone was perfect. All throughout this episode I was really tense and curious about what was going to happen next and it just had me on the edge of my seat throughout the entire episode. This show’s story has me fully invested and interested to learn more about this shows plot as it unfolds. And I was amazed at just how incredible the music for this episode was, I’m so glad that they brought Natalie Holt back to do this show’s score. And each actor was giving a fantastic performance and I felt like they were all doing an amazing job for these characters. They all felt like they were fully dedicated and invested to their character and their role. I loved getting to see Loki Time Slipping again, I think that it served the plot perfectly. And I really liked getting to see that effect again, I thought that the visual for the Time Slipping was fantastic, it felt and looked so fluid yet distorted and painful. I loved getting to see Casey, B-15, Mobius and O.B.’s real lives on the Timeline. I thought it was so fun and really interesting to get to see these different versions of these characters. I also really liked how (especially for Casey) their real life versions felt very different from their TVA versions which led to some really great interactions between them and Loki. But for Mobius’ story, this episode was kind of sad, Mobius’ number one reason for not seeing what his life on the Timeline was that he was afraid that he would be “leaving someone behind”, then in this episode we see that what he “left behind” were his two sons. Also Mobius says that his wife died and with him coming from 2022 (during the time of the Blip) it’s possible that his wife may have been dusted. But on a more positive note, we finally got to see Mobius with/on a Jet Ski, this was such a funny and fulfilling moment. And I also really liked Loki’s talk with Sylvie, I thought that what they were talking about was very interesting and that you could really see both sides of the argument. As a whole I thought that the writing for this scene in was really great. And it was so sad yet heartwarming to hear Loki say that what he really wanted was his friends back. And seeing Sylvie’s Branch Timeline spaghettifi was crazy. The visuals of when and where the spaghettification would happen were amazing and I loved the attention to detail with how everything deconstructed. And the way it ended with nothing left except for Sylvie standing alone in this sort of black void was amazing. Then we see the scene where everyone, except for Loki, spaghettifis. I loved this scene, it was completely unexpected and insane. I honestly couldn’t believe what was happening at first, this felt like this shows own mini Dusting scene from Avengers: Infinity War. And seeing Loki’s amazing reaction as all his friends disappeared around him made this scene feel so much more dramatic and emotional. And then we see Loki learn how to control his Time Slipping, and learning that his caring for all of them is what finally allowed him to control it made this scene so much more great and heartwarming. Then at the end we see Loki go back to the end of episode 5, this leaves me very curious to see how the next episode will start and how this moment will effect Episode 6/the Season 2 finale as a whole. I’m also still very curious to see what will happen to our remaining characters like Victor Timely, Brad, Ravonna and Miss Minutes. I can’t wait to see where the end of this episode will lead into next week’s episode and how it will impact the future of this show and its story. I can’t believe there is only one episodes left, that is just so crazy to me, I don’t think I’m really ready for this season to be over yet. I am really loving everything about this new season so far and I can’t wait to see where this story and all the characters involved will go next. I cannot wait for next week’s episode.

I think one of the reason why Loki is able to remain un spaghettified is because of what happened in EP1. OB mentioned he needed to prune himself and extract himself out of the timeline to keep for timeslipping. So he is no longer tethered to a timeline. The loom exploding may have made his timeslipping come back since the timelines went nuts.

  • @JohnReedy07163

Everything this season has been an Ouroboros
Loki didn't time skip to the beginning of the TVA because of being pushed through the door at the end of time, I'm betting he goes there to try to find Mobius and friends immediately after their minds were wiped by He Who Remains.
In episode 1 this season, the chase for Loki takes him to the command room where he causes the timeline monitor to fall and crack the floor, and he does it in front of Casey. When he timeslips to the future, Casey says that the crack in the floor has been there "As long as he remembers".
It's as if Loki is trying to repeatedly find where they went wrong with Victor Timely and their plan to stabilize the loom. Something tells me it's that they pulled Victor Timely from the branch 1893 timeline instead of the actual Kang from The Sacred Timeline.
The reason it's a sacred timeline? It's the timeline "He Who Remains" comes from.

Well remember this; Victor is a con-man. I wouldn't be surprised if he has angle in this somehow and manages to come out on top. HWR's contingency plan was to get the TVA manual to Vic and this episode opened up with a replay of his dialogue where he basically said "Everything you do is because I paved the road in front of you" or words to that effect. I wonder if we are still following his gameplan.

@@WhiteTiger93 Hm, not sure. Loki jumped back to the moment all the people assembled at past-OB's house were last together at the TVA.... but Loki didn't collect Victor Timely, hence he can't jump to a time when Timely was still alive at the TVA. But Loki may be able to bring the spaghettified Victor back? Rewind him, like Doctor Strange could rewind time with the Time Stone, maybe? Spin his strands back together? I'm sure Victor Timely will play a role yet in the Kang Dynasty movie. I just hope Loki will as well (and not die at the end of Season 2, or be stuck as the lonely successor to He Who Remains at the End of Time).

Earlier in the episode Loki and Branched Timeline “OB” were coming up with solutions.
Loki controlling the timeslipping was the supposed solution to the fiction side, Loki couldnt do it, so he asked to focus on the science side. OB then came up with the Pen in a Mug to get the time space coordinates.
When OB was getting cheese string’d, “it was a fiction promblem” was OB realizing the solution was indeed Loki controlling timeslipping. Which he then does in the following minutes.

No! The so-called; "secret rule" is that it's all about Loki!
It's HIS story! (We're watching) That's why the whole; "Who?" Is about HIM. (His Name being the title of the show!)
That's why HE can time-slip, and nobody else can, except Silvie has the original "Master" He Who Remains Temp Pad.
What he REALLY wants, what his true motivation was, beyond just fixing the TVA, is saving his friends.
That's what he needed to admit to himself, when O.B. was asking and when Silvie was asking him what he TRULY wanted.
He couldn't control the time-slipping until he figured that out for himself.
Which he did, which is why it worked when he figured out the "Who?" was HIM.
THAT'S the "fiction" part, of the whole "Science/Fiction" theme, of this episode.
You're overthinking it again lol they're being; "meta" again, like the 4th wall shenanigans in She-Hulk.
It's the "God of Stories," transition, Loki makes in the comics.
(We'll all see next week, either way, right?! ✌️)

19:16 the TVA reset itself. We haven’t seen the TVA completely deserted with protocol 1229 or whatever before. The staff was returned to their original branches so the TVA itself could spaghettify safely. But something messed up and the Loom keeps melting down anyway because the backup just rewound the Loom to a certain point in time. This is why everything spaghettifies.

In season 1 when he asked about the avengers time traveling they said that was suppose to happen and I just realized the only reason that was SUPPOSE to happen was because if they didn't then this specific variant of loki never would have created the tva in the first place.
