That Prowler brings back great memories. I caught a 2 1/2lb white bass on one in my very early days of fishing, my first "big" fish ever. I don't think I ever caught a bigger white bass since.
So, when the Lions didn't make the super bowl I figure my family saved about $20k, as I am a lifelong Lions fan and it's known that if they ever go, we are going, lol. I think I may have saved just as much as that by coming down to Florida a week after this show. There's just no way I could have passed up some of those deals. Maybe I am just used to eBay prices, but WOW are those bargain bin prices awesome!! So much self restraint shown by you, very impressive! Will be in your neck of the woods soon, trying to set a PB! Thanks for featuring Small Water Charters, am going out with them after seeing how much fun you had, and even during our correspondence so far it's been a gas, can't wait to cut it up with them in person!
Oh brother, you've got way more self control and discipline than me. I don't know how I'd be able to put ANYTHING in the empty box. Wouldn't be the least bit surprised if that gentleman has four empty boxes at the end of every show.
How about an episode on Arbogast? Remember the recording by Dick Kotis (company president) that came with the lure catalog? Would love to hear him explaining how to fish a hula popper!
Love the channel. You have inspired me to start my collection. I have an 80s Berkley powerbait rattle popper kit. It says power rattle assortments on the sticker. They have a hard body and soft skirt like tail.Having trouble finding info on them. Have you heard of such a thing?
Great Video, I just found your channel. My wife says it’s perfect for me as I live old school. You did show remarkable restraint at the show. Are you still selling Retro Bassin T shirts? Keep up the great content.
It looks like the older stuff that still works fine is cheaper than buying new stuff. Just think in thirty years that guy your buying from will be you selling a lot of stuff off. I gave my neighbor a whole tackle box full of stuff just to make room. He has a bunch of striper stuff but we don't have stripers around here
Love those types of shows. You know how our wives could spend hours in clothing stores? This is the male equivalent. I could go there and just look & talk for hours.
I think I've gotten better deals at gun shows on fishing stuff than I have on guns. Usually when I offer a bunch of money for all I can carry plus a backpack full of magazines I get a deal. I got a bunch of musky magazines at the last one and I called my friend up the one before and he helped me get a bunch of Big rods and reels home in his truck. A couple years ago I helped him with my backpack to carry a few thousand rounds out of there for his Russian rifle.
Cool video. Does Ed Weston sell these outside of the show? I would need a bank loan or remortgage my house for what I would of grabbed. Great self control you have.
Pure gold brother! So glad you came to the show! Even happier I got to meet you and talk for a while!
Absolutely a great time, good buddy!

His boxes were empty! Of course, I grabbed a few additional lures after filming…
I knew some old lures. I pick up 5 Rapala off EBAY. Got a good deal.

I have a few! Culprit also came out with a soft-hard bait around the same time
Them Spoonplugs are fire when fished right, used to catch all kinds of different species fresh and saltwater
A Schlitz lure! So cool! I wonder how easy those are to find... 13:15
I would have bought that shlitz spoon just for a show piece.
I would have…but I have two! Haha
Bad enough that Walmart had clearance tackle and the bass pro spring classic started.

Welcome aboard, good buddy! Yes, will have the merch site up soon but in meantime can message me on Insta or FB!
@@RetroBassin I’ll keep my eyes open. I don’t do Facebook or instagram. You tube is really the only social media I go on these days.
