One of the great bands of 70's & 80's. Lou Gramm had a great, strong, and clear voice. A real rocker. The band was terrific & the engineering was always done. One of their power ballads was, I Want To Know What Love Is
Song is from 1987, as far as I remember. 2 top 10 from this album. In early 80's and late 70's they were in their prime.
Foreigner is so good! Lou is awesome, love his passion and energy. Great song.
Waiting For A Girl Like You - is the greatest love song ever. Everything a guy should and wants to say to his girl. You will love it
POWER Ballad... "I've been waiting for a GIRL like you" Best ever!!
Asia & BJ, you’ll love their “Cold As Ice”!
FOREIGNER - " GIRL ON THE MOON " 🌙 is another classic from 1981 kinda has the feel and sound of the song " Waiting for a girl like you " you'll also Like their song " THAT WAS YESTERDAY " 1984 It's Awesome 💯 just like Say You Will also from the same album
Of the six original founding members, Lou Graham (lead singer) and 2 others are American; the other 3 band members are British which, according to Wikipedia, "meaning at least half of the band would be foreigners no matter what country they were in."
Three of the band members are from the USA and three are from the UK, thus the name: foreigner.
"I Don't Want to Live Without You" by Foreigner is an awesome, smooth ballad. A lot of people think Lou Gramm is The "Voice".
Can't do better than Lou Gramm. I agree...Cold as Ice. So many excellent choices.
Absolutely a FAVORITE
Some members are from the United States, and some other members were from the UK. So they considered themselves Foreigners.
"does Foreigner have power ballads?" tee hee.
Check out Lou's vocals on Blue Morning, Blue Day!
Hey Asia and BJ. I heard a song I hadnt heard in years by Foreigner last week. Its off their 1st album. I bought the vinyl album days later.
You need to listen to "Head Knocker" and "Fool for You Anyway."
I rarely recommend music cause I know you guys have a lot..but...you would really like those 2 songs. They never get radio play..and are so good. Please take a listen.
Love watching you two so much. ❤❤
Great Tune!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Love the song.love the band
Lou Gramm the classy rocking journeyman!! I understand he's retiring after this year. Thank you, Lou for all the many monster hits!!
I want to know what love is, is one of their great power ballads
Asia looking absolutely beautiful! BJ! Looking handsome! :)
If you have not done Cold as Ice or Double Vision I would add them to the list.
Love when you do 70s and 80s rock as well as any Metal and Hairbands.
Some old Canadian bands would be great.
Chilliwack, Trooper, The Stampeders, Max Webster or Kim Mitchell, Headpins, Doug and the Slugs, and Loverboy.
Special mention for Streetheart- What Kind of Love is This. One of the best ballads ever.
Lots of love from your Old Canadian fan
Don't forget Triumph!
They had a number of huge hits, which I am sure will get plenty of recommendation love, and rightfully so.
Since I haven't seen it specifically mentioned yet, I wanted to throw in a word for a personal favorite of mine.
If you do a deep dive down the Foreigner rabbit hole, please consider "Long, Long Way From Home" as a stop worthy of making.
"I wanna know what love is" 🎶, one of their ballads. But they had so many banger hits! 🔥 #music #nostalgia #goodtimes
Great reaction! I need to go back and find all 10 of Foreigner from you guys! I've seen a few but not all. Not sure if anyone has mentioned it, but the singer Lou Gramm also had some solo work in the late 80's. "Midnight Blue" "Ready or Not" "Just Between You and Me". Lots of great unreleased songs too, like "Heartache" "Time" "Lost In the Shadows"
There's a beautiful moment when Asia grooves along to that bass playing and smiles at 2:54 and then at the end of the song mentions the bass playing.. Very nice!
Power balads... absolutely... I've Been Waiting For A Girl Like You, and I Wanna Know What Love Is by Foreigner
Do jukebox hero !
Break it up and that was yesterday, girl on the moon
Love this song. Lou Gramm is an amazing singer. Takes me back to my teenage years. 😍 Keep up the great reactions. 😃
Lou Gramm has a single called "Just Between You and Me." Love that song. From his solo album "Long Hard Look."
Ole lue can sing.
The music video is worth a watch. Directed by David Lynch and highly stylized. Second to last album with the great Mick Jones / Lou Gramm pairing. You reacted to Gramm’s vocals / song “Midnight Blue” from his solo career.
Niceee!!!! 🥰 enjoyed this one a lot 🎵... say you will be mine tonight😘...🎶
One of Foreigners last/later releases with Lou Gramm on vocals ..
Lou Gramm - Midnight Blue
I like this song. You should also check out either "I Don't Want To Live Without You" or "Can't Wait" that are also included from the same compilation and are from the same era.
Foreigner could do little wrong in the late 70s/early 80s
I'd check out blue monday and head knocker
Yall are so cute😊
⭐💖⭐💖⭐💖 Yeah
Check out Head Games and I Don't Want To Live Without You by Foreigner.
Hot Blooded is a good song foreigner
Go Live!!!! Come on!
We will be live Tuesday for BJ's Birthday :)
@@AsiaandBJ I'll be there xo
I'll throw out a great Foreigner song for a reaction not too many people request: "I'm Gonna Win". Take a chance.
Sure do t see u guys much...like to know what's up with that😢😢
Yo girl that hair 😍. Sorry BJ 🤷♂️
Its amazing how singing to a woman fell out of fashion
Very good song but in my opinion it's over produced, just too slick but that's just me.
