The Teraflex Nomad Off-Road Alloy Wheel is the most feature packed wheel available for the Jeep Wrangler JK, JL & Jeep Gladiator JT. Available in a 17"x8.5" size with a 5 on 5" bolt pattern and 4.25" of backspacing (0mm offset) the Nomad wheel is perfect for running oversized tires on your Jeep! Cast from heat treated A356-T6 aluminum, the Nomad is tough enough to run up to a 40" tire. The base model includes a fully enclosed and protected valve stem, and can be upgraded with a quick deflator valve available separately, or you can choose to buy the deluxe model which includes both right out of the box. There's also a rash ring available to fit both the base and deluxe model to offer additional protection from rock scuffs and scratches, that can be changed out if it becomes damaged.

How does it know if you aired down to 15 psi? Does it stop releasing air at the desired, pre specified point?
Lug centric on JK but hub centric on JL? Aren’t the JK and JL both 71.5mm bore size?
смысл в том что он стравит до определенного давления и то что через второй можно контролить? а вообще вроде бодро начало травить а в целом минута до 1 атмосферы чета долго. на опыте и манометр не особо нужен для контроля.

Does the air down tool turn off when it hits the desired psi? Meaning can we unscrew it and walk around for each tired and wait till it’s done, or would we need the gage on each tire? Thanks. Newbie here :)
Yes, it will stop at the set pressure, however you want to make sure you close the valve before driving as some air could continue to leak out at a very slow rate if left open for an extended period of time.
why couldnt the centre hex bolt be preset to a desired pressure like a Staun deflator. Then you could just turn the knob to easily get to your desired preset pressure you want? Am i over thinking the design? Seems like that would save even getting out the gauge to measure each time. Thoughts?
That's exactly how they work. You can set them to your desired pressure, then you simply open the valve on each wheel and let them do the work! 2:17
Is there a way to lock the air down valve? Besides turning it tight? To prevent someone planking you and dropping all tires to 15lbs?

Seem great, price point for the deluxe makes sense...... but an extra $450 for the PLASTIC rash rings to cover all 5 wheels? That does not compute. Maybe if they were machined aluminum..... but $75 each for plastic?
Since you brought up locking lug nuts, anyone got some that are worth more than the giant pile of poop from Jurassic park? I have these wheels sitting in my garage waiting on my god knows when it’ll arrive diesel JT. To me it seems like a you could just pound a socket over them and bam he gone

Seems like a fantastic wheel.. at first. Definitely LOOKS fantastic...But experience tells me there could be many issues with that design.

i love the practicality but from my wheeling experiences i am certain that i
would rip off that air down valve in just a few trails if not the first. i think it is way to exposed
to rocks. i go through a set of wheels a season. i think vector offroad had the right idea when
they made a beadlock ring for there set. im sure it adds a lot of security to those huge knobs.
great idea by teraflex but very poorly executed.
Is it made in China?
most likely. wheels made in China are made to the exact same quality or higher as if they were made in the US. no point making something in the US if you can get the same or better quality for cheaper in China. most if not all wheels are either cast or forged in China but sent to the US or other countries for spin forging or machining. Japan has the best quality metals and manufacturing processes for making wheels and also the strongest forging machine.
these wheels are simple cast and machined nothing special
too bad these are cast.. being A356-T6 aluminum doesnt mean anything if it isnt forged or spun forged.
I purchased their lifetime warranty suspension... they would not honour the warranty :(

I've seen a lot of really ugly Wheels but I think that one's at the top of the list
