- Here I teach you how top boxing on the back foot to avoid being hit, too many fighters are getting hit with basic silly punches when they can simply sit on the back-foot and have enough time to see punches coming.

Roger Mayweather use to say, "A lot of people don't know shit about boxing". You brother know a lot about boxing. I enjoy your channel and videos. Thanks a lot man!

I fight off my back foot because I got hit extremely hard by a back footed fighter and he rocked my shit. Back foot fighters make you reach in to hit them and it’s easy to counter from the back foot
It’s more nuanced than “making you reach in”. That sounds more like the back foot fighter is waiting for you to fight with the same exact patterns an entry. A complete fighter does both front and back foot. If you’re getting caught by someone who fights exclusively on the back foot, then that implies that you don’t know how to fight on the front foot
0:45 too much weight front leg
1:35 weight on back foot
1:55 back foot on heel

Dear Sir. Good-morning. How are you? I hope that you are doing well.
Thank YOU so much. For explaining 'on the back foot'. I found it very useful and shall try to put it, into practise. The thing, with Boxing is, once you get use to a certain style or technique, it is hard to change. But, this is only the mindset, and we must TRY to overcome it.
Yours With The Greatest Respect.

That's what instinctively I've been doing in recent years and found that's my correct way. Thanks for confirming me not being wrong.
Thank you been boxing for over a year and this is something I had didn't think about. I'll try it next time.
I’ll use that front foot movement to try draw the counter and they use my left hook on the way out

Slow reflexes could be the main reason
Nope. On the back foot you will decrease your changes of being hit so easily, even if reflexes are slow relative to your opponents speed. It doesn't mean you won't be hit but you will make it harder to be hit. Even very quick fighters have an advantage off the back foot against certain opponents.
If I box and get hit repeatedly with a glove and no headgear can I get a concussion or brain tumour?
If you get hit very hard, possible.
So should I only box with headgear?
@@rizzythepro411 I would
@@luminescent__ ok
But also headgear can limit vision, mike tyson sparred with no headgear, if u wanna spar with no headgear go like 50%
You really encouraging slipping punches but if you're getting hit you must learn how to block first do not try to slip punches and you don't know how to block first thing is first you slip punches when you're good at blocking not before you're right about the weight on front foot.
