- It is the end of dry season in the Everglades, and water is scarce in many places. Some alligators have been lucky, and have been able to find water, while others have not. Today, we visit Deep Lake, find some live alligators, as well as some not-so-lucky ones.

It blows my mind every time you guys just pick something up and can instantly identify it, and know the sex. It’s super impressive!!
For snakes you can tell male and female for certain species by the length of the tail so I’d assume it’s be similar for other reptiles but I’m not sure?
Y’all crack me up with the flip flops. ❤️
As a Floridan, those are know as Floridian cowboy boots.
In Florida, it's standard shoes. I wear Crocs though for the 4WD option.
That's what we wear.
ye. nuts...lol
I'm actually really jealous of you guys having access to relatively untouched nature like that. Here in the Netherlands there is nothing left, I have to travel half across the country to see a bunch of tame deer. Cherish the nature you have, because it is vulnerable.
People like these two, and hopefully myself one day soon, will do everything they can to protect it. (i also live in FL, trying to get my life together to starting an animal sanctuary)
I've seen a lot in the everglades on the north side. My dad and I would go fishing there all the time and see alligators fighting for their territory this one day really stuck out in particular where the alligators jumped out of the water completely out and they were about 15 foot alligators and their bodies would slap Super loud together. We (my dad and I never saw that before) since I was 2 and I'm 46 years old now. Still go fishing their Bass fishing with my son but we mainly catch and release. My dad passed away in 2019.
I’m so sorry for your loss
@@FloridasWildest thank you. Also thank you guys for being apart of getting all of these non-native animals caught out of the everglades. I know my dad really appreciated it as well as my whole family. Thank you guys
Sorry for you loss friend.
I'm sorry for you loss and I hope your doing well.
You guys deserve Far More recognition!! This is all fascinating and valuable content, thank you!!!

I stumbled across the channel a month or so back, coming across one of Chris's swims w Casper, and being immediately perplexed, terrified, and entertained...now here I am, dozens of videos later, and I believe I have allllmost convinced my gf to go and try swimming with him. Progress!! Thanks for the quality content!
Love watching you both. I learn so much from you. I am from England so we dont have the kind of wildlife you have or get to see on your travels. Also enjoying the gator training vids on Facebook recently too. Take care
GATOR BOYS... . Always wondered what happened to you. Didn't know you had this U tube channel. Glad I found it. Keep them coming.
I expected y'all to have millions of subscribers y'all are so good at what you do!
Yay im so happy I found y'all and now I get to binge all the videos!
Thank God for videos like these, that help educate people about wildlife and the wilderness during specific seasons.
Hi there. Thank you. For taking us on this awesome tour.🤗👍🥰
Love that I'm not the only one who cruises through the wilderness in a singlet and sandals lol 😂
This is already amazing! Hope you guys are staying very healthy and happy!!! 🐊❤️
This channel is so quality! Really cool stuff! The channel is going places!
I am South Florida-born but never been to the Everglades. This video is motivating!
Guys that was super cool, the knowledge you guys have and share is so appreciated...
I literally love you two!!!! Y’all have the best life! Goals!!!
Swallowtail kites are such awesome birds. Really cool footage in this video!
love the content and all the useful info
Thank you!
Gorgeous footage, diggin the new editing, the way you are including the awesome shots you take within the video footage. Also love how you are venturing into other wilderness areas and the vast and intimate knowledge you share. It is so hard to catch a skink, you made that look easy lol Ever think about shooting footage in the wilderness waterway? or maybe Crocs in cape sable and lake Ingraham?
Two wild alligators are swimming towards his back and the man is excited about a bird.
I have been loving this channel for a long time I was one of the first hundred subs you guys are the best!!!
Also I forgot to mention I also got my 11yr old son into your channel and he loves it he's dying for an alligator or croc tooth I would pay whatever u want would it be possible? My son is an amazing child who's been through bullying and he's just the sweetest kid so I wanna make him super happy!
Hey, if you DM me on Instagram we can probably figure something out! -Gabby
Amazing video of an amazing animal, I love alligator's and crocodiles always have, I think they are one of the most beautiful animals around, and they are greatly misunderstood.
Yall are so underrated!
Love the content 💓 keep it up !
So cool to watch!
I love you guys. I heard you say Florida is passing a law prohibiting the owning of iguanas. Well, guess what! I have been owned by an iguana I rescued when he fell out of a tree on an exceptionally cold night 6 years ago. He is my constant companion...gentle and loving-IGUANA-TYPE LOVE-my girls have been taught to respect all living creatures since 7 years ago I turned our large solarium into a sanctuary full of individual habitats for the bearded dragons, chameleons, iguanas, and my latest rescue...little Georgie. A green gecko, his owner's hair got wrapped around one of his tiny toes and all but severed it. I sterilized a small pair of infant's nail scissors and snipped the teeny shred of skin holding the severed toe. I treated it with tea tree oil..bandaged his entire foot. And he is totally healed now.
I'm telling you this so you can understand the emotional investment I have in my orphans.
I just turned our backyard into a free space with a pool that can be drained and refilled with clean water, shady areas...little hidey spots for the timid...and the thought of my babies being released into the wild, esp. Maxximus my FIRST iguana, my companion...
No. I will not have it!
That was cool👍🏼👏🏽 I would have packed up the alligator skeleton for home display 😉😎
omg you guys are breathtaking
Awesome Couple. Please be careful!!
Out here in sandals/flip flops trecking wilderness trails with possible snakes and such. Remind me to find you guys when the apocalypse comes and I need rangers and such in the new world.
I wish I knew of you folks when I lived in the area.
I know I am way late to the comments but I really hope the rain came down a lot for the gators. Love the content that comes from Florida's Wildest by the way.
I loved this! It was so interesting to see what's usually under water. Did you keep the alligator skull? Also, do you think the banged-up gator was hurt from fighting or could it be from people?
We did not keep the skull, as it requires special permits to be able to take them. We have skulls from captive alligators though which we use for education!
There were no obvious injuries, so we honestly have no idea why it died. Maybe lack of food, or eating something it wasn’t supposed to eat? It could be anything!
4:22 These kites sometimes make gigantic flocks around here, last time I counted 14 of them
I love feeding gators!
At 6:38 there looked like a human skull against the bank across from the mama gator. Did anyone else notice it? The bank side both of y'all stood on.
I'd definitely keep that skull.
I knew he looked familiar
Are alligator skulls pitted? That looks crazy!
Love the minecraft music
I dont know if I am scared or where i sit in my emotional diaspora, but this seems extra on six layers. I am truly shocked... I've accidentally walked into a dog fight in Turkmenistan and hung out with jewel thieves in western asia - but this mess...
Oh wow i didn't realise the mothers look after their babies for so long
Does Casper behave with you differently when you are both out of the water? Or what if you are out and he is in? Does aything change the "relationship" at all between you too?
Is there anything that chris n gabby can't do 😂
Encountered any snakes like rattlers, pythons or cottonmouths?
I don't think that alligator in the thumb survived
I feel better about wearing flip flops everywhere XD
The Canadian accent
The prettiest alligator was on 10:31, 10:32... Any chance I can swin in the water with her?
I know there is almost no chance y’all will see this comment but I can’t stop wondering about the mama and her babies. Did water come? 😭
The waters always come ❤️
@@FloridasWildest Ohmygoodness thank you so much for the reply! And that’s amazing to hear. She’s a super mama ♥️
Thank you again! Love from Texas….hope to swim with Casper one day.
'fed by people' you sound so disappointed dude ! I can see why too
Get better shoes!
are you herpetologist or just do your own research?
Chris has a degree in environmental science, and reads a lot of books and research papers.
Exploring in chanclas 🩴. How do you do it lol
