Nice haul on those rockfish we were going to try and do one more salmon trip before the end of the season at Duxbury if the weather is good but if not I was planning on going up North and trying Fort Ross area next I’ll let you know how I do but good job on the rockfish and lingcod especially that big copper you should of weighed that thing
Hey Brother, thanks for the great comment!!! That sounds good, I hope you get them!!! For me I'm done with Salmon until next season. You know that's a great idea, I think I will get my scale out, and just have it ready, so if I get another nice big rockfish, I can quickly put it on the scale!! Take care, and I'll talk to soon!!!!!!!!!!!!
I had a question what are the rules of filleting your rockfish and lingcod on the boat do you have to keep the carcass with you in case fish and game comes by or how does that all work and I’ve heard something about they can’t tell the difference between lingcod and Cabazon skin so do you have to leave the fellet attached to the carcass
@@fishingthepacific3648 Hey Brother, so normally I keep my carcass for crab, but once I have enough, then I throw the carcass over board. You will need to leave the complete skin on your fillet, if I have a just legal Ling, I will keep that carcass just in case I get checked. That is what I do, hope this helps!!!!!!!!!!
I am running low on rockfish fillets, may have to go up before crab season. Any salmon being caught? We’re those starry or rosy rockfish that you deep released?
Hey Brother, sounds good! No Salmon that I know of, and for me I'm done with Salmon until next season. I believe those were Starry, but Rosy are very close looking to the Starry, so not a hundred percent sure on that.
@@baldeaglefishingadventures In August I learned from a charter Capt in Morro Bay that Rosy’s are always small and Starry’s have little white specs like snow covering their skin.

More fish in Bodeda bay than Halfmoon bay
Hey Buddy, I have seen some nice fish taken from Halfmoon, but Bodega has a fair amount of fish for sure!
