Nice one Ryan. I think its important to tell people how the circuit works and why your test proves that the sensor, even though new is faulty. Well done mate.
Hi...I have same engine...my temp gauge works now and then...if I bang dash it comes on....someone suggested bad soldering at the back....also just had engine rebuild and when it's on its showing above the three quarter mark on temp gauge...engineer said engine isn't overheating.....any idea much appreciated
@@jamessullivan1648 I have a T4 and i have the same problem. After a lot of search i fix it. It is a small transistor behind the clock at the organs. If you pout the organs out and open it you see it at the top right. ITT 9520 TCA 720 Those are written on the voltage regulator (transistor).
Nice example of how useful the resistance box is, I ordered one of those after struggling with a cheeper alternative. Thanks mate 👍

Thank you for sharing your videos. Good job. Have a blessed and safe week to you and your family.

Hi, I wanted to know if the vw t4 1.9 D. year 1991 has a SOUND sensor for the water temperature. Thank you.
Who put those blue connectors on???
How much should the resistance be at 90°C or in what interval at ambient temperature?
The problem is a voltage regulator.
He is behind the organs up right behind the clock on the electronic boards.
I’m having a problem with my fuel level gage and Temp gage. Do you think this could be the voltage regulator? Is that part of the inst cluster?
