Thank you for all your hard work for the community. So glad we have people like you doing the amazing legwork to understand Crested Geckos genetics more. The future is bright 🌞
All of the new super sable and the luwaks mixed with lily whites look like amazing cool axanthac morphs and hyper melanistic. I love the white to dark contrast with those silvers.
They’re separate alleles, they share the same loci. Allele is a version of a gene. Loci is it’s location. So you would have whatever the wildtype gene it’s replacing, sable, and capp as different alleles. But they all share the same loci or location on the chromosome.
I’m so glad you got some bro ! It’s only right ! You’re the godfather in my book brotha 🦾🙌🏻 everything Iv learned or set on the path to learn stems from you ! Your channel is hands down the best for us beginners 🦾👌🏻🫡 big respect David 🙏🏻
I have a sable growing out as well and am excited to include him in my projects in the future. Wish he was RTB for this upcoming season but gotta have patience with these guys!
I'm a huge fan of yours. Also wanted to buy a 20 pack of geckos from you unfortunately you dont deliver in europe. Wanted to start my own business with high end geckos from the beginning and your geckos are just unbelivable.
10:10 I‘m not an expert but I feel like there are some sable lily whites out there that have a very light red/pink/bright orange coloration, but all frappuccinos are either dark or dull, like lavender. Does this make sense or do I need to look at more geckos before saying anything😂
Hmmm? I think i had two female sables and didn't know. I sold them. They were just like he described. Maybe they weren't but it sure sounds like they were.
They dont share the same allele, if allelic, they are different alleles. Alleles are different forms of a gene.. They are the same gene! Lesser, mojave and so on are the same gene, different mutations, allelic mutations, same gene!
When you're breeding two females to one male, and you have a laybox in with them, how do you tell which eggs come from which female? It seems that crested gecko genes in and of themselves are extremely complicated and difficult to track. Mainly because there are so many other traits that have been stacked on different geckos to get a certain look that when you're breeding to another gecko with different traits it just muddies everything up. Same with ball Python breeding with stacked genes. And then you throw on all the base colors with the physical traits like size of crests, pinstriping and head structure ect. Even though you broke it down into very easy digestible information it was still hard to follow 😂 Also, when you breed two cresteds together and another pair with the same genes, both offspring from different pairs will still have so much variation within their offspring. It's madness 😂
Crested gecko genetics amaze me 😻 I never knew about sables until now like this whole video is blowing my mind 😨
Yeah it is definitely a game changer!
I really enjoy and admire the level of intelligent inquiry you put into your breeding work.

My pleasure!
Love these types of videos. You do a great job explaining the morphs. Keep ‘em coming! :)
Glad you like them! More to come

Congrats on 98k subs! So close to that 100k 🎉
So close!
Love your videos! I can’t wait to watch my sable grow up and progress
Can’t wait to be able to work with sables!
They have huge potential for sure!

Patience is the name of the game
I believe you can tell between cap and sable the sable has thinker white on the dorsal and lats
Awesome video man, well done
Thanks a ton!

Thank you so much! Where in Eu?
@@TikisGeckosI'm from luxembourg. I would love to get my first stock of geckos from you to start my business.

Love your vids . You guys going to be at repticon Orlando this January ?
Can you please do a video on Pixel? There seems to be too many opinions and confusion about that trait within the industry leaders!
I will work on it!
thank you! there's way too much confusion!@@TikisGeckos
what are you doing your het piebald geckos? are they growup?
Thanks for the video! What happens if you pair lillywhite male to a sable female?
Hello! I was wondering, what water is safe for cresties to drink/be misted with? Thank you! 🦎
Water you would drink! We have a well so we use that water
Me gustaría que hicieras más vídeos en español, saludos😊

Great video but at 9:36 time stamp I see two open bins in the back and it’s making me think geckos are escaping! OCD!
haha noo we leave them open when we ship something out to remind us to clean them
Nice ❤❤ so beautiful
Except that all white super caps from erlygecko
Can you breed sisters and brothers ❓Sorry for awkward question 😳
You can but you really shouldnt because of the risk of genetic defects and there is plenty of unrelated geckos you can breed to
Cute

It’s an ALS form. Acts like super.
Looks like any other gecko to me 😅
Sshhh! Don’t say this! Then people won’t be able to sell them for more money then they’re worth!!

@jaconsi6017 I'm not a gecko person this is why and people don't have to buy either
Hell naw they look hella kool and unique 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Looks like a salamander😂💨
The super cap does right hahaha
