Do you guys have a lot of reptile shelters? We don't have many. Mostly its private homes that take in rescued animals. I think there is a need for it here, since there are a lot of awful stuff on craigslist. But it can actually be difficult to get a rescued animal. The privately owned pet stores also take in rescues.
you can also check animal shelters they have a section for " exotic animals"
Any old reptile shop will take in rescues so u have to make sure u trus that shop

I’m doing a thing of naming my pets after carnivorous plants, my chameleon was Sundew, and I was planning on naming a leopard gecko Venus after a Venus fly trap.
I got my gecko at 3 months old as well his name is Ezra

One time I forgot about my gecko which he was running around on my bed, turned on your cricket care video, and he attacked my phone! I laughed. But I felt bad.
I wonder if Ziggy has other traits besides RAPTOR, because she looks so different from my gecko that is considered RAPTOR.

the pet world please do not buy from bhb! He keeps his animals in tiny, bare tanks that are extremely cruel. He has no idea what he is doing, and lies to his supporters. Also, his reptiles are extremely overpriced. Do not support him if you would not keep a leapord gecko in a plastic bin with no hides, lighting, substrate, etc. And, if you would do that, you should not have reptiles at all.
the pet world Please please please rethink where you are buying that Leopard Gecko. I would definitely not support that company at all. If possible, find a rescue or buy from somewhere else.

I have a question I hope you can help me with.... My crested gecko bean just hit 25 grams so I went and switched her from Paper towel to jungle mix dirt to get her ready for the bioactive tank I'm building her..... AAND SHE WONT STOP LICKING THE DIRT!!!!!! She's not eating it in big mouthfulls just licking it. I don't know what is going on
It's possible that Diego is not a giant at all, apparently there is a difference between normal leos and giants in their skull structure.
Another note: my 7-month old leo Juno Eclipse looks exactly like Ziggy's baby picture, which is odd considering Juno's genetics are Tremper Eclipse W/Y as opposed to RAPTOR. I wonder if she'll end up looking like Ziggy one day...

Hi, I got a blizzard gecko about a month ago from someone who posted it on social media that she was trying to rehome the cute little one. It was really small when I first got it but recently seems to have doubled it's size. I was hoping you could help me with it's age. It's about 5 inches from nose to base of tail. Mini and gizmo look like my first two leopard geckos Coco and Ziggy they were also sisters. Ziggy and Coco are rescues the one passed away it was Ziggy from a disease that made her body eat away at her flesh even know she was fed and she ate luckily I just made her eat away at nobody but the other one thankfully didn’t get it so We found a Nice home for her and if The person doesn’t want her for any reason we will take it back we do on other leopard geckos I’m all into breeding though and I knew that they should not be bread so I wanted to have them go to good home to spend Four the rest of her life also when we got Ziggy and Coco Ziggy came with the disease. Yes Ziggy is named after your Ziggy I knew I wanted to name one after yoga Leopard geckos and the first time I hold my Ziggy I almost lost her and that why her name was Ziggy. I always get to meet my new geckos parents because my cousin is a breeder and runs Dad exotic he does other reptiles to but he mostly does leopard geckos.
I got one from petco, some how I can’t tell if he is a male or female, he looks more like a male tho >:0. But I really need help on finding the age of him/her. If there is any information of finding the age , please reply :)
If you bred Gizmo with other Gecko and her offspring had an extra foot, you could create a new species of leopard gecko :O
That happened to me. At pets at home my rabbit was ment to be a lion mane dwaf rabbit, she was ment to be female. Well if was wrong 😂 everything was opposite way round. Sadly she only lived for 1 and a half. She got into contact with a wild rabbit and got a disese.
i got my gecko from a small pet shop that doesn't breed geckos, but takes them in as surrenders and takes care of them properly until they are adopted. they overprice them a little bit but I think its amazing what they do.
Yeah my cousin didn’t want his leopard gecko and he said he was just going to let it run wild. And then I said no I could never do that. I’m new to taking care of him. My cousin only fed him and he’s not used to people because he never held him. Also he doesn’t shed like a normal Leo. Just looking for some pointers in the right direction. Hi umm my leo looks like diego but not quite mine doesnt have everyone I've asked said there not for sure I he turned a year last month and i got him a couple weeks old at petsmart hes a healthy gecko and a decent wide tail not fat or skinny but I'm trying rely hard to try to find what morph he is

Hello!!! I just found your channel and I love how informative you are! I just recently purchased a 4 month old leopard gecko. I am very excited to get the needed supplements and nutrition for him and for the crickets! For a young gecko would you recommend using eco earth as substrate? Also, he tends to hide in one spot and sleep almost all the time! Will he get a bit more friendly as he grows and I handle him?

Brynna Norris avoid enigmas, they have neurological issues. Are you sure you want a female? They can lay eggs and stop eating for months
My lepord gecko is a jungle
I know this video is like a year old, but I'd like your advice on something. My leo's tummy is quite swollen and I don;t know why. She is on paper towel roll and is being fed every other day. She shed yesterday and ate it, could that be it? She's also around 1 year and a half and has never laid eggs but I thought that might be it so I put some eco earth in a tupperware container. Her tummy is a lot bigger than any of your geckos in this video and her tail is normal but her tummy is larger than her tail.

Hi highlighter I didn't hold him the first three days and he is in a 5.5 gallon fish tank up right is that still too big I have his 6 gallon tub she gave me should I put him back in there?I know I sound dumb I did three years of research on crested geckos and leapord geckos I have a 8 month leapord gecko and I got him when he was 2 months, so should I put my crested back in the small tub she gave me with him thin?
Rebecca Zimmerman they need much bigger tanks than that! Bare minimum 10 gallon long for the leopard gecko, a tall tank for the crestie

Could someone help me out. We have a bearded Dragon and I'm getting a leopard gecko. We feed our bearded Dragon the giant mealworms, are those too big for the leopard gecko should we but the smaller ones for it? Please help!
unibesties tv mealworms aren’t good for beardies. I feed small mealworms to my gecko. I recommend crickets or Dubia roaches, they’re much better for staple diets.

Hi I love your channel !!! I sit for hours watching your videos. I went to a reptile and aquatics and the leopard geckos were healthy I got to hold one for the first time. But they were using calsi sand for there substrate and they said use a lamp for heat not a heat mat because if u use a sodden tank it’s a fire hazzard I emailed and I’m waiting for a reply
Ava2007 Bedj Bedj she uses heat mats and wooden tanks. It’s not a problem with a thermostat
