It's funny how many people are getting up in arms about the McCree Gameplay in the video. Guys, it's Quick Play. I've been doing viewer games on Twitch that day and I even specifically stated that I'm not an outstanding McCree Player. Who cares who I buy the Gold Gun for? I started off with Reaper, and one month layer, I switched to Roadhog and have been maining him ever since. However I cannot play Support to save my life, so usually we lose when I have to play Zenyatta.

Maiming Reinhardt is the worst. It can be very rewarding and he's a great character, but it's awful for your mental health as apparently none of your teammates know about the giant blue rectangle that can save ur goddam life lmao. I'm a rein main btw
reins give me trust issues, u can have amazing ones that kepe the blue shield of life up and even sacrifice themselves for the team by charging out Dvas exploding mech, but you also have very very bad ones charging ahead into the enemy lines dying instantly and never keeping the shield up
Nib Nub try being ana. genji:"I NEED HEALING! *jumps around constantly everywhere* genji:"I NEED HEALING!!!!!11!11" Or spamming i need healing from the other side of a wall accross the map.
Robert Harris those are the dudes that get no heals from me lol. when I play genji, I either go to my healer or (what I normally do) let them focus the others while I get off my ass and get heal packs. cause you know, genji is super mobile lol when I heal, I usually ignore those who say "I need healing" if they do not come to me at all. Kevin R. My friend (more advanced than me) says Pharah requires skill and I'm like nooooolpe. She only has to fly and shoot to the fucking ground and that's it, play of the game.
Flying and shooting the ground is all good but you have to also realise that in the air most of the time you're out in the open and an easy target, you have to know how to maneuver to dodge people (S:76 please stop shooting me.) while still keeping your aim to get good damage on people. People hate on characters for taking no skill to play but they all have something, Even bastion you need to know when's the right time to heal/reload, finding the right places to sit, do you focus on that reins shield and get through it for the kill or will you have to move cause you're low on ammo and currently a sitting duck? Symmetra people abuse the turrets, sure but there's always ways around the map which allow you to bypass them, in her case you have to think about where to position them so maybe even if you're not getting a kill it can alert you of potential flank attempts by the opposition. Just my thoughts really based on what I've seen in the comments, sure bastion is easy to play, Pharah can just come across as aim and fire (if that's how your games with her go then you're against bad teams (sorry?)). The main point I'm making here is that all heroes require some level of skill and thought and are not always as easy as people make them out to be. :)
Loelita Soldier 76 is the less skill-needed hero I've seen. A friend of mine did a 5 man kill with Soldier ult and nanoboost and instantly called himself the best. I mean, you have fucking aimbot and nanoboost, on top of that Soldier's damage is very high. Besides that, I do believe some of them needs skill, for example tanks like Dva or Orisa
Alp A Oh it's just that quick play has been changed so that you can only have one of the same hero per team and no limits was introduced. So quick play is probably the best place to finding a main and practice them. The only things that are different about qp is it doesn't change your sr and you probably won't get lot's of communication experience. But if you're just looking to just play casually or have platinum - bronze as a rank then you won't need it. Have fun playing ow! :3
Well yea swiss knife is good with a lot of things but its not the best at anything, while bottle opener or scalpel are good inly for 1 thing and are the best at it
I'm pretty good at dps heroes like mccree and soldier but I always wind up playing zen or Lucio cuz my teammates usually play dps or tank. Although it sometimes gets annoying to always play support, it helps the team a lot and is very rewarding.
It's funny how you mentioned being good with Pharah might make you a solid Mei player. My mains would be Zenyatta, Pharah, Mei, and Reinhardt (in that order). I would be considered a flex player because I'm happy to fill whatever role we need. I do however get frustrated with people who refuse to help the comp of the team by rolling that 3rd tank or not even tanking at all, for a few examples. Read a few comments about your McCree, it's your game and your points so do what you want IMO. Thanks for the video!
I've always played a flex but my best character is Mei and me having to be a tank or healer kind of brings me down because playing the devil is really fun and I'm good at it
VideoMode529 Nothing wrong with that. its not always fun to branch out but often times it is necessary to have at least 4 hroes you perform well with. slotting the same hero over and over every match wont always fit in with the teams mechanics, and at such points its better to switch into a character that works better with the team even if you are mediocre with them than remain a hero you are good with but is constantly dying doe to the enemy team comps countering. Mei is certainly fun to play though.
as a support/tank main (with the exception of symmetra and roadhog), there are a lot of translatable skillsets and attributes such as awareness of teammates deaths, other teams positions and micromanaging between supporting your own team vs damaging the enemy team. its not like dps where your entire objective is to make mayhem but as support/tank, youre to control said mayhem
I played a LOT of Mystery Hero when I started and it helped a lot. It forces you to play hero's you wouldn't normally pick, and cam show you who you are good with if you play enough, and who you dread getting if you still haven't gotten any good with them. There are a few characters I main, a few I can grab if I really need to, and a few I am total trash at, and I found them with endless arcade hours. Granted team comp can get wonky in mystery, but as far as helping figure out how you play it helped me a lot. :)
How is that working for you? No, I am not being snide. I honestly want to know if a decision made that early can turn out satisfying. Also, I have a friend who has started an Xbox group specifically for players who main Mercy if you are interested in meeting some fellow Valkyries.
Don't cry little SouthBeast. I didn't mean to offend by assuming stereotyping your hero's Nordic Mythology persona. Umm, the Krampus made me do it. Seriously though, look up an XBox player sometime. Her handle is QuestionMarkXxX. She created the group for Mercy Main players.
I, personally, have a main and a flex for every class. Offense Main: Genji Flex: McCree Defense Main: Junk Rat Flex: Hanzo Tank Main: Roadhog Flex: Reinhardt Support Main: Zenyatta Flex: Lúcio This has helped me with many decisions in competitive gameplay, and from practicing all of my mains for 30 mins a day, and flex heroes for 15, I have been able to help my team in many situations. I recently finished my second season ever playing competitive, (I’m level 43 btw), and I’m already in gold. This video also helped me a lot and I’m glad I found it! Keep up the awesome vids man :)
I like sombra’s gameplay and personality. I used to like old symmetra (Before 3.0) because of her photon barrier, she can protect her allies a lot and I liked that. Briggite just isnt the same. I like widowmaker, just because. Sombra and widowmaker I find popular so I cant really play them. I tried playing guys but their not as fun for me.
Alena Alexander. I always use zenyatta and zarya because they have high damage output while still having team utility like healing and shields. I think they handle the same the only difference is zenyatta can't tank the hits, and their guns are different.
I have 40 hours on Mercy and I don't like playing Zarya. I play almost all characters when not playing Mercy. Only ones I don't are Mcree and Widowmaker
Cliff Terios right it doesn't matter but I'm used to people who even have enough to buy a gold weapon has main let alone buying it for someone. I guess I'm not used to Flex players? Because I'm a hardcore zarya main. You may thing this is bad and I should have more mains but this is only because she is defense and offense, is supportive, is a tank, has an amazing ultimate and great damage. I think you know this because you said you were a zarya main?
Zarya's a hero that is rarely a bad choice. So long that your team lets you play her, there is nothing wrong with you being extrodinarily good with her and thus hardcore maining. Same goes for me with Ana. I've been playing Flex in Season 1 so I didn't have a main and just bought a golden gun for a hero I thought it looked good on with the legendary skin ayy
I want to main mccree, but my team is too greedy, and plays DPS just because you can get more kills. They aren't even good at DPS. I just have to plan Ana, Lucio, and zenyatta for now.
strongfeelings I can somewhat agree. I main Junkrat, but that's the only, um, "cancer" hero I play. The others are super generic, Lucio, Soldier, Mercy, etc etc boring
Chaotic Reaper please give some thought on becoming a support main, overwatch really needs more supports, but as long as you dont instapick hanzo or widow when attacking i think you'll do good
Chaotic Reaper I've had overwatch since summer, and am currently grandmaster. you are very smart to want to play support, since you can pretty much carry, you should want to play some dps when you start, and you should since it teaches you tons about the game. Bastion does nothing, and just because you get kills doesn't mean you're extremely good. Remember these things and have fun more than anything. peace
Personally I think supports are fun to play in overwatch, they can do more than healing. For example when I played wow as a healer I just healed my tank and focused a bit on the dps but in overwatch you can do more for example zenyatta, he is as deadly as a dps and a lucio pushing off entire teams off the map can win games
ok come on you shouldn't have a main. mains PLURAL is fine but having a hero you instalock is how you lose. Learn to be flexible and have 1-2 heroes in every class you like. I play every hero except snipers, tracer, and mccree. I know a guy who has 200 hrs on mercy and he sucks. every single time i grouped up with him and his friends, we lost every game. EDIT: ok you addressed that thank god
lol not always. if your an extremely good player such as PhantomLex Hive, He mains soldier right now and ranks up fast with him as he easily carries. He's master to GM
So basically is it a good idea to main a character in each role? Because the characters I like to play the most are Reaper, D.Va, Mercy, and ocasionally Pharah or Tracer, depending on the mission/map. But I feel like I'm not doing enough, so I tried to pick the Defensive hero whom I suck less with, Hanzo, but I'm really bad comparing to the other characters I use mostly, and often feel like I'm not helping. Should I stop trying to learn Hanzo or ...?
if you want to learn hanzo, do it! don't let others discourage you from it. practice in quickplay so you can get better and use him when your team needs him! competitive teams will complain about hanzo but often times i've had hanzo's carry us completely. play whoever you want, as long as you're practicing in quickplay and not comp :)
Espurrs Sure :D I'm aware that competitive play isn't the place to experiment and try out stuff I'm not used too. I won't give up trying to master Hanzo!
I feel like people are just easier to hit in Quick Play because they don't care. I don't usually touch Hanzo in competetive because people are much more aware and properly defended
Cliff Terios Yea, but Hanzo can be more viable in competitive if you communicate with a friendly Zarya, Reinhardt or Mei. His ult is too damn good when you combo it with other ults
hmmm you see tha problem... i love tracer but cant play her at all in mm... basically because a tracer cant really solo a spot... (if the front is broken) so i switch between lucio and dva.. the problem is.. i am fucking bored playing those... sooo i woulddn't say its a main even though i play the alot...i think a main has to be a hero you can have fun with at any time...becasue occasionly if you have fun you get better.. still have to play support to get out of that damn low rank
It's nice to know that you can have more than one main, even though I haven't been playing for very long I'm pretty sure I have a main for each category. Pharah, Junkrat, D.VA, and Lucio are my mains. however I do like to try and experiment with different characters to see what I can do
Love the video man i found my main awhile back its genji keep up the great work and keep the gameplay coming dont let nobody tell you what you can and cannot do your amazing at what you do. Good Job
I'm a fairly new player, so I probably would stink compared to other players in the comments. But generally, the people I consider my mains span the different categories: Reinhardt for tank, Zenyatta for support, and Junkrat for DPS (Torbjorn depending on the map and if we're playing defense). I also try a lot of other characters on quick play, like McCree and Orisa.
The ran into the "QP is different than Ranked" situation. I mained Dva (QP) and always tried to bring her into competitive, but I have this QP mindset "How can I get the best self destruct ever?" which is not what D.va is used for. I found in ranked I feel like I contribute being a healer and now consider myself an Ana, Lucio, Mercy main. Feels awesome xD
im a Ana main, but the thing that pisses me off is that, a teamate is in front of you and a player is one shot from death, a Reinhardt blocks you and take your kill. >:(
InfiniteSkyBlocker Terraria-Steam and more! No! I'm also Ana main and if you main Ana you shouldn't be mainly going for kills in the first place, she's a healer you know. There's nothing wong with attacking enemies as Ana but there's no need to get upset if someone "steals" yor kill.
Some Fries As a high-skilled Ana main I can tell you some other struggles while playing Ana. If you are trying to heal a teammate and there is a fatass tank in the way so they die, when you sleep someone and literally have to scream into the mic for people not to soloattack the sleeping target and instead all focus on it quick, and then the most annoying thing of all possible things. Trash DPS players in your team who forces you as an Ana to play like a DPS and heal at the same time cause they can't do shit themselves. And oh, ofcourse when people think they never get healed while in reality you've stuffed a million darts up their ass.
King Dedede Yup I know all of those and they happen very frequently to me. And you might be high ranked, but I'm only high Silver at the moment so it's probably even worse.
Musef , Yes, main more than one character. For example if you mained one and only one, you are putting all your effort into it and will constantly find yourself countered easily in games. Be flexible. pick at least one hero from each category, so four at minimum. Use these heroes, learn their counters, practice strategies that are reliant in the miltiple game types. develop your non hero skills, work on communicating with your team when ultimates are ready. wprk on positioning and grouping, when to defend, when to attack, when to retreat. Remember to not sweat losing. the best strategies are still not infallible. It is possible to commit no mistakes and still lose. that is not unfairness, its just life.
my mains in quick play, since I haven't mustered the courage to play competitive, are Reinhardt, Reaper, Soldier 76, Sombra, and......I know I'm awesome....MERCY!!! if I had to pick one from each category..... Reaper, Bastion (I know I suck at defensive) Reinhardt, and Mercy
Silver Dragon550 Nothing scary about comp. You'll be placed with people around your skill level anyway so just think of it as a more serious QuickPlay with more reward.
Silver Dragon550 Why would you be awesome if you play Mercy? She's probably the least effective healer. Also the fact that people feel good about themselfes for playing a healer is a shame.
Some Fries if you think she's not effective you or the people you play with are not playing her right also it's alright for somebody to feel good about themselves when they play a healer because with a few of them they're literally give up most of their game to follow you around and keep you healed so you do better than you would do without them
I like to call myself a tracer main. It's super fun to blink around and mess with their team, and I'm getting a lot better at not getting disoriented (happens a lot if u play tracer) and landing mostly headshots. But tracer is my 4th played hero this season. Mercy is 1, zen is 2, and Lucio is 3. Every game, I pick tracer at the start( this doesn't mean that I won't switch off if someone else wants to be tracer- I just want to send the message that I'm best at tracer and I can benefit the team if I play her.) and most of the time we have no healers or just 1 healer. It seems like most people in high silver/low gold don't even care about winning the game, so I'm always the one that ends up filling. This happens so often that I'm now better at mercy and zen than tracer. I have been forced into playing them so constantly that they have become my mains and now I'm playing heroes that I don't want to and making the game less fun. Maybe I should be more aggressive, but I always try to keep peace in competitive, so i always offer to fill to avoid discouragement. TLDR: I can't play my main pls send help
I know one thing that can really get you comfortable with all the heroes (maybe not finding your main) is to play mystery heros as you are forced to try a different hero every time you die.
I main road hog and Reinhart. quick play has helped my hook acc and combos, but did not help prepare me for Reinhart situations. great video and I fully agree
I havent seen more ON POINT video, this is so true, im a widow picker and due to being yelled at i mostly pick ana and Mcree just like in the video, other picks are pharah and mei, for tanks rein and zarya and win mostly when i play all these, yep thats 5-6 mains and i win with those mostly i guess.. so something between maining and flexing.. Respect keep it up Cliff
i usually wait to See what my Team picks and then decide what i pick. i have mainly played mercy and roadhog. what i learned is you nearly always get enough DPS heroes. i love supporting and if you play in lower ranks ( i am gold myself, so i am not so good), a good support really makes a difference. also a "supporting" tank can be just very enjoyable. i really recommend trying out every character, because i hated my nowadays mains at first, until i really tried them.
SpookySpazo Zenyatta is a character that I suck at but I try him, soldier and mcree to switch things up and make things intresting (only in quick play )
My rule of thumb is get amazing at one or two characters, then get pretty good/okay at several others so you always have what your team needs. For example, Zenyatta is my go to, but I can also switch to Soldier: 76, Sombra, D.Va, Lucio or Symmetra if I need to.
you shouldn't really have a main in this game. you should try and learn all of the characters and then once you know how to use them all, you can keep switching heroes for different situations.
Yeah... but that's why there are 6 people on a TEAM! You don't need to learn all dps, tank, healer... If you main some heroes it's enough cause other players will main the heroes you need on your team...
ASDW your team could care less about your ult. people would rather you play a character that is actually helping the team out than you playing a character that you just want to play even though you aren't doing shit with that hero.
LungSusage i guess ur right but it's kinda annoying when you main Tracer Sombra and Fahra and your team needs a thank and a healer and they yell at you to change. like what do I change to? we need both (2) I can't be both (1) what can tank do without a healer? and a healer without a tank to boost? (wow too long)
I tend to switch between Bastion, Orisa and sometimes Lucio if my team need a healer. I think Bastion and Orisa switch really well together since they're both able to fire off a lot of rounds in a short amount of time. Normally I act more as a distraction for the rest of my team for enemies to shoot at , since the heroes I usually use are pretty easy to find/fire at especially with Orisa's shield.
sooo im officially a zarya/mercy main then i was initially just a mercy main but following that advice made me try more zarya and yeah it's def more fun to play her ! I found that im surprisingly great with my zarya cooldowns lmao
Yeah, in this video, the assumption was made that our best hero and our favorite hero to play are probably the same character. That isn't the case with me either. I guess it comes down to exactly what a we mean when we use the term "main." To my mind, a main character is singular, your one primary choice. Maining multiple characters seems like a contradiction in terms to me. Perhaps the word "proficient" would be better.
i agree with this. i'm someone that can play any role my team needs but i think if you play the game for quite a long time (i'm lvl 150) you can be very good at some heros just because you play them enough
as an example: I am good at Hanson and soldier on temple of Anubis, but I am good at junkrat and mccree on Nepal. Just something to put out there, u will need to practice a lot in quick play to get comftorable with the difference of maps and mains
This video was really good! I'm a widow main in platinum and every time I pick widow my team will just tell me to switch and sometimes I do and go McCree or Ana but sometimes I get pissed off at them and go widow anyways to prove them that it'll work. When the game is over and we lost and I've only been playing widow, my team will tell the enemy team that it was all my fault and they did everything so good. But then the enemy team tells them that I was the one that made the team. I really hate people that just hate on a person because they play a specific hero without any knowledge about the players experience. I'm platinum but that doesn't mean that I'm bad with widow. Just because I'm a low rank doesn't mean that I've been playing bad, it's more of how I play with the team. And when I only play widow my team will just troll so we lose.
How to find your main:
Open loot box
Get cool skin
Thats your main
Muumilaakson Mörkö lmao ^
Thats why im zarya and doomfist main
Lol
That s why im tracer main
It was the other way round when I first started
Mained Roadhog
Opened loot box (like my 3rd lootbox)
Got islander skin
Muumilaakson Mörkö Lol I Have Every Skin But I Don't Have a Main any Tips?

Step one: look in the two sections on the right. If it says "Support" or "Tank" than that's an amazing character to play.
What about the one that says “dps”
@@mr.freezie8560 Then you get hacked lol
I went into season 3 wanting to main roadhog and D.Va well 5 weeks later I have a lucio golden gun

MooMoo146
Yea, buy your mains changed drastically imo. I couldn't change from tank to healer. It'd be impossible for me.
MooMoo146 Thats very true i now main the characters who I used to think were terrible

Kilion Duke pharah*
Kilion Duke xDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD best joke of 2017
Experience tranquility 😌
That’s my support main
The offensive healer!!! Gays into the iris! (I know he says gaze instead of gays)
When I have to I play Zenyatta or Ana.
I thought the thumbnail said how to find your man
TB Pro What's better is that Ana was on the thumbnail.
Hey Ana, Rein is available. :))))
Star Moral XD
TB Pro Lmao Same
I think I found my 2 mains. Tracer and Torbjorn. If I need to I'll use Lucio.
Tiger Lord my weak spot is playing offence and defence and I like to play zenyatta if we need a tank I'll go road hog
How to find your main:
Use the character you both like to use and are good at
THE END
Noah Martinez i like to use everyone and i suck at everyone.
Teradon 1910 lol
Noah Martinez what if the character you enjoy, you suck at?
Noah Martinez tracer and tracer. should i play tracer?
Noah Martinez Yeah. Me and my friend went into a match I was Lucio he was Symmetra and we absolutely destroyed the other team.
I got banned for using aimbot...
I'm a Winston main in diamond 😥😥😥
Winston Can "Aimbot" apparently I guess
A Winston aimbot tho?
Mason Rios winston aimbot? That’s like aimbotting with junkrat, or any other non hitscan hero
Even if you have aimbot, if your exclusively playing Winston, then it shouldn't even matter lol.
@@WiseCracker2006 that’s the joke, he’s saying he doesn’t miss his shots as Winston, so people say he has aimbot
Watching old OW gameplay/ videos is,,,,,,, quite nostalgic
oohhhh 2016. Ok. you should make an updated version because the game has changed a lot.
DiamondShreddie what has changed? I started playing last week
DiamondShreddie thanks :) im trying to learn some heroes i like and the gameplay overall i will begin cp with the new season
Alp A Glhf
The game has changed even more now my friend
Don't main one hero main a few become a Swiss Army knife not a scalpel
well said
BladeArmorGinga well scalpel is good at fine movments lets say eye operation. u cant do that with swiss knife
Andrej Matjasic What of you need to open a cork?
Well yea swiss knife is good with a lot of things but its not the best at anything, while bottle opener or scalpel are good inly for 1 thing and are the best at it
Ikr, if another player chose your main you're fucked
I'm pretty good at dps heroes like mccree and soldier but I always wind up playing zen or Lucio cuz my teammates usually play dps or tank. Although it sometimes gets annoying to always play support, it helps the team a lot and is very rewarding.
how to find your main: switch to bastion
NERF BASTION
Yeah... Now he just got nerfed to hell
I still playing bastioncause is my favoyrite
Now us Bastion mains have the worst hero in the game
But at least we can pop off with tank configuration
4:30 lol that was my friend who died

It's funny how you mentioned being good with Pharah might make you a solid Mei player. My mains would be Zenyatta, Pharah, Mei, and Reinhardt (in that order). I would be considered a flex player because I'm happy to fill whatever role we need. I do however get frustrated with people who refuse to help the comp of the team by rolling that 3rd tank or not even tanking at all, for a few examples. Read a few comments about your McCree, it's your game and your points so do what you want IMO. Thanks for the video!
I have mains in each category so whatever is left out I can fill in
Angie Panda same, it seems to be more affective imo
me too it's better that way
Angie Panda
My mains are
OFFENSE-
Sombra and Reaper
Defense:
Mei
Tank:
Orisa and Winston
Support: Mercy and Lúcio
Angie Panda Same bro
SulkySkeleton Edgy my Main are
OFFENSE-
Solider 75 and Tracer
defense-
tobjorn and Junkrat
Tank-
Roadhog and Zarya
Support-
Luico and Zenyatta
I've always played a flex but my best character is Mei and me having to be a tank or healer kind of brings me down because playing the devil is really fun and I'm good at it
Other mains are Dva, Anna, Pharah, and Zarya.
VideoMode529 mei... Fucking mei
VideoMode529 fuck you
VideoMode529 I hate mei so much. most annoying character in the game
Fantastic Mains And Where To Find Them
Out Now In Cinemas
Hugh Warner 😂
as a support/tank main (with the exception of symmetra and roadhog), there are a lot of translatable skillsets and attributes such as awareness of teammates deaths, other teams positions and micromanaging between supporting your own team vs damaging the enemy team. its not like dps where your entire objective is to make mayhem but as support/tank, youre to control said mayhem
My mains are engineer demoman and scout
mine is solider scout and engie jermbo.
im a pyro main :3
im a demoman main
demoman all the way
I'm the "random" class
Uh, I just chose to main Mercy before I got the game... XD
How is that working for you?
No, I am not being snide. I honestly want to know if a decision made that early can turn out satisfying. Also, I have a friend who has started an Xbox group specifically for players who main Mercy if you are interested in meeting some fellow Valkyries.
Scott Gastineau I'm a Sigrün 😭😭😭
Don't cry little SouthBeast. I didn't mean to offend by assuming stereotyping your hero's Nordic Mythology persona. Umm, the Krampus made me do it.
Seriously though, look up an XBox player sometime. Her handle is QuestionMarkXxX. She created the group for Mercy Main players.
Scott Gastineau Wait, does that mean 6 man mercy teams?
Lol I main Roadhog. Grabbing them edgies and seeing them die makes me laugh at the irony in that.
You deserve much more subs I went through you're channel and you have outstanding videos for you're amount of subs
Thanks man, always glad to hear things like this. Hope you enjoy the content
Cliff Terios I love it!
+1 on that, i can see your channel growing huge. Keep it up and you might just make it.
Always working hard, always striving for more ;P
I, personally, have a main and a flex for every class.
Offense
Main: Genji
Flex: McCree
Defense
Main: Junk Rat
Flex: Hanzo
Tank
Main: Roadhog
Flex: Reinhardt
Support
Main: Zenyatta
Flex: Lúcio
This has helped me with many decisions in competitive gameplay, and from practicing all of my mains for 30 mins a day, and flex heroes for 15, I have been able to help my team in many situations.
What you said about a Mercy main making a good Zarya is extremely true lmao I main both them XD
Dark Embrace same here
Dark Embrace Same here. I play Ana and Zenyatta a lot. I played some Zarya today and I'm actually pretty decent with her.
Dark Embrace yeah you are completely right and he was too. the awareness I have from playing way too much Mercy definetly translates to zarya
1:53 + yet you have a golden Mccree gun?
It's a cosmetic lol who cares which hero I buy it for
Cliff Terios right it doesn't matter but I'm used to people who even have enough to buy a gold weapon has main let alone buying it for someone.
Cliff Terios okay that's fine by me I was just a little confused by "Flex 👍
Im also roadhog Reinhardt and
Lucio but 80 % I'll be Zarya.
The few and the proud. :)
I want to main mccree, but my team is too greedy, and plays DPS just because you can get more kills. They aren't even good at DPS.
I just have to plan Ana, Lucio, and zenyatta for now.
Play*
CB 10 try zen out more than hes got good damage out put and an average healing orb thing jus in case
eh, I don't find zen very fun for some reason. Lucio and Ana are more fun, after I've used them more.
CB 10 if you play on PC and ever find NovaBomb on your team, i greatly enjoy playing support and defense, so if im on your team, DPS away my friend.
Colin Tentis I'm on ps4 haha
at first sight i tought it was "HOW TO FIND YOUR MAN"
Nice vid btw it helped me a loooot :)
All my mains are cancer
Junkrat
Symmetra
Hanzo
Mei
How is Hanzo cancer?
strongfeelings I can somewhat agree. I main Junkrat, but that's the only, um, "cancer" hero I play. The others are super generic, Lucio, Soldier, Mercy, etc etc boring
strongfeelings it's ok I'm a junkrat soldier mei and Lucio main
Good luck if there's a Pharah on the enemy team
I'm a fat hog main
I Haven't played the game yet, I might be getting it for Christmas, But I like the idea of support and DPS. (Mainly Lucio or Zenyatta)
Manatee Abuser .mp4 Battle Tag?
Chaotic Reaper try to play tanks and supports a lot, as 80% of all players are DPS mains, and 70% of them are below diamond just a tip!
Attack : Solider 76/Genji
Defend Bastion/Torbjorn/Hanzo
Tank Reinhard/Roadhog/Zarya
Support : Any
Brandyn_ nite Attack:Reaper, McCree
Defense:Widow, Mei,Bastion
Tank:Rein, D.Va
Support:Mercy, Ana
Attack: Reaper/McCree
Defense: None
Tank: DVa/Zarya
Support: Lucio/Ana
Attack: Reaper
Defense: Bastion
Tank: DVa
Support: Zenyatta, Lucio, Moira
Reinhard?
Attack: bastion
Defend bastion
Tank: bastion
Support:who wants to be support
ok come on you shouldn't have a main. mains PLURAL is fine but having a hero you instalock is how you lose.
Mystery Meat Intelligent Comment Rule n°1 "Don't comment before watching the video until the end"
Octave Bartenieff i have a tendency to jump the gun
lol not always. if your an extremely good player such as
PhantomLex Hive,
He mains soldier right now and ranks up fast with him as he easily carries.
He's master to GM
Humdrum. does he have a healer with him? does his team have tanks? if so then whats really happening is he's forcing his team to revolve around him
Mystery Meat
But it's okay because i main healer.......
One day I decided go play Lucio because I had never played him before, I spent the whole day playing him. Your main chooses you, you don’t choose it
Pug Dude Studios did you click that character?
+Zealothia Valentine good luck! :)
I actually learned to play two or three in each class because well you know. Cant get the hero you want all the time lol
Walter Melon yup, this is why I was trying to learn at least one from each.
I main Hanzo in quickplay, in competitive i don't have a main
Quickplay Hanzo mains UNITE! He's so fun to play in QP
Cliff Terios yea, but i play him in competitive aswell (i dont do that very commonly and when i do i promise to switch if i dont do well)
I feel like people are just easier to hit in Quick Play because they don't care.
My mains:
-Reaper
-Reinhardt
-Roadhog
-Mercy
Other heroes i'm also kinda good at:
-Pharah
-Soldier 76
-D.va
-Anna
I don't like playing defense heroes.
Exact same as my friend
Gijs Brans I don't really like Ana, since I'm terrible at sniping. But I do like Bastion and Junkrat.
+Henry Cho based on this it seems like you're aim is just bad
+Henry Cho what level are you?
Gijs Brans Not really, I'm quite good at Hanzo and Soldier, I'm just terrible at sniping XD
Good Job
I'm starting to mei-n Mei xD am I right
I started being good a Mei a long time ago :^)
TurtleYT_ Mei I suggest you to try out Tracer? I mei-n both
L
ItsTurtle Stop Pls.
That way, I can usually pick someone I'm fairly good with, whichever category is needed
I don't have Overwatch, and I would main...let's think...Genji, Genji, and more Genji
I main orisa and when I first started it was junkrat
Im main at each role
-Damage__Genji; Pharah
-Healer____Lucio
-Tank_____Orisa
only hero i do is crazy is Hog
I often play the same way as you. Its super important to have flex players like you described.
Yes!
Dude, use grammar.
1. Pharah
2. lucio
3. zenyatta
4. winston
The only thing close to as annoying as a good widowmaker is a good pharah
NᴏᴠɪᴄᴇIɴDɪsɢᴜɪsᴇ I do love a good Pharah teammate, even more if I slotted into Mercy and i bounce betwewn damage boost and heals for my team.
Stylosa once told me that you shouldn't have a main
Stylosa once told me he wasn't boosted into Masters
Stylosa once told me that rank doesn't matter...
Stylosa once told me not to spread this.
Stylosa once tol.. stfu
Svante Fridén i dissagree
mains of every teammate i ever got:
1. Genji
2. Widowmaker
3. Hanzo
4. Reaper
5. Tracer
thanks for all the advice i will use it in the days to come
stylosa tells me not to main a character
Musef , Correction: Main Characters, not a single character.
Musef , my main is reaper
Musef , you need yo main someone to master it but remember this game is about adpating to the enemy comp too so you should change if necessary
qidt same
Wow, you're a good McCree and u have a good skin for him
It's just the skin that fools you into thinking I'm good, trust me
Cliff Terios yeh but you do have a the golden gun for him 😂
Watch seagull he's super good lel
my mains in quick play, since I haven't mustered the courage to play competitive, are Reinhardt, Reaper, Soldier 76, Sombra, and......I know I'm awesome....MERCY!!! if I had to pick one from each category..... Reaper, Bastion (I know I suck at defensive) Reinhardt, and Mercy
Silver Dragon550 Nothing scary about comp. You'll be placed with people around your skill level anyway so just think of it as a more serious QuickPlay with more reward.
Vynz ok thanks for the motivation, I'll start looking for a team
Silver Dragon550 Why would you be awesome if you play Mercy? She's probably the least effective healer. Also the fact that people feel good about themselfes for playing a healer is a shame.
Some Fries if you think she's not effective you or the people you play with are not playing her right also it's alright for somebody to feel good about themselves when they play a healer because with a few of them they're literally give up most of their game to follow you around and keep you healed so you do better than you would do without them
Silver Dragon550 more me are definitely sombra and Reinhardt
IM a main tank i use
Winston
Roadhog
Reinhard
Widowmaker
I really like widow maker on pc, but I find the sensitivity hard on console... and ideas?
Byte A . Have you tried fixing the sensitivity ?
art tee get a keyboard and mouse, wired/bluetooth do not matter. Just make sure they're compatible with ps4
Cody Splawski that's against terms of service and is considered cheating
Camryn the fuck are you talking about?
Camryn and another dumbass mongoloid degenerate
My main is definitely Tracer
Tony Peluso then watch Dibz! He's an amazing tracer and u could definitely learn some tricks from him!
I be demolishing these guys. I know the map, I know blind spots Vs bastions. Tracer is a savage
Roadhog is daddy literally
I just started playing overwatch and so far, im a mercy main. She has great everything in all honesty
I main road hog and Reinhart. quick play has helped my hook acc and combos, but did not help prepare me for Reinhart situations. great video and I fully agree
soo . . . if i am patient, chilled and calm what would fit me best? = o
Huh? Why? ^^ I thought maybe Widow = o
Christin Eleven Widow is a sniper sure, but if you keep missing your shots/pick the wrong vantage point, your team will put full on blame on you.
Vantage?
Christin Eleven 'a place or position affording a good view of something.'
oh ok I am alrea
After watching this I went on competitive with the character I'm strong with and got 18 kills with Widowmaker.... I found mah main!
MoeWithASideOf Salt 18 Kills......
The only thing i got from this video was play the hero you are good with...
Elias Arnfinsen well... thats kind of how you get a main...
I used to hate mei so much but now she is my mei-n
Hoi_tem_go_to_colleg :D lol
Hoi_tem_go_to_colleg :D same
I lost a lot of respect for you when I saw you teabagging in this clip... XD
The first problem is that you had respect for me to begin with

I main ana so.
SpookySpazo Same, usually ana but also roadhog and mei, probably a very strange combination.
CMAG I main mostly healing. Not so much zenyatta, I sometimes go soldier, rein or mcree. Roadhog is a possibity, I love playing zarya too.
SpookySpazo Zenyatta is a character that I suck at but I try him, soldier and mcree to switch things up and make things intresting (only in quick play )
CMAG Yeah pretty good point. But honest I've really let go on mcree, trash aim at him. Soldier is a bit inbetween.
I was good until people found the counter to my strategy
My rule of thumb is get amazing at one or two characters, then get pretty good/okay at several others so you always have what your team needs. For example, Zenyatta is my go to, but I can also switch to Soldier: 76, Sombra, D.Va, Lucio or Symmetra if I need to.
Thanks you helped me find my mains. Zenyatta, mcree, junkrat and winston, btw
I'm a Lucio main
Kent Britton pls teach me wall ride...i wanna get guud...
i'll be overseas doe for 4 dayz
Eric Pontarelli I'm a Genji main. I'm on PS4.
Kent Britton ily
Me too we'll take over the world one day
+Izz Irfan Imran HOLD SPACE
Thanks now i finded out my main is Zarya
Thumps up!
you shouldn't really have a main in this game. you should try and learn all of the characters and then once you know how to use them all, you can keep switching heroes for different situations.
Yeah... but that's why there are 6 people on a TEAM! You don't need to learn all dps, tank, healer... If you main some heroes it's enough cause other players will main the heroes you need on your team...
LungSusage that's what I'm trying to do
LungSusage So how do you fill ur ultimate if you keep switching?!
Normally I act more as a distraction for the rest of my team for enemies to shoot at , since the heroes I usually use are pretty easy to find/fire at especially with Orisa's shield.
sooo im officially a zarya/mercy main then
i was initially just a mercy main but following that advice made me try more zarya and yeah it's def more fun to play her !
I found that im surprisingly great with my zarya cooldowns lmao
i main zarya on comp and quick play? well i main genji...
I main tank on comp
I hate tanks though
SomeRandomGuy :P i got forced to main zarya and im actually kind of good at her lel
Exdrus I cry with tears of joy when someone tells me to play Tracer. :D
I find it hard to find a main when in quickplay, everyone just locks in dps and if I do the same, it's just loss on loss
Procsetor exactly...
Procsetor be ana main join the cause
Where my Mercy mains at??

i agree with this. i'm someone that can play any role my team needs but i think if you play the game for quite a long time (i'm lvl 150) you can be very good at some heros just because you play them enough

Psycho Sugar. Use your shield. Lmao, I'm okay with dva but I noticed that I barely use her shield and that's not very good. 😭

I main her cause i die alot. Use to be a solder main and pheerah/junkrat main. I just love total meyham... Buff pheerah
Torbjorn,Zen,and Mercy are my mains,I may switch it up with Reaper sometimes.
I'm a Roadhog main because i can land good hooks and make ppl mad in the red team XD
My mains
Bastion (lol)
