I’ve come to the conclusion that you were born in the wrong generation. You enjoy all these old songs so much I just enjoy watching your reactions to songs that I grew up with & still have on vinyl records, lol. Use to cruise around in the car & turn the volume up high on the radio listening to all these great songs. Hard to believe that Bob Seger is now 76 years old. Still doing concerts with other artists now. Favorite songs of his to me are: You’ll Accomp’ny Me (the best),We’ve Got Tonight, Still The Same & Old Time Rick & Roll. Oh, also: Like A Rock. Great songs. Please listen to them, you won’t regret it. 😊🤗😋
even people who dont know the music from back then should have been there, especially them, I watch a lot of reacts of all sorts, younger folks know it is good once they hear it, is Beautiful!
Yes he is retired I am 51 but grew up with older sisters and brother I love all of this saw Bob a few times my favorite is soringsteen with seeing him at least 80 to 90 times bit 50s through the 80s I love
It doesn’t get any better than Bob Seger. Great storyteller, beautiful music and that voice! I was 7 when I first Bob Seger, my older brother started listening to him. That was 50 years ago, Bob is my therapy!!! Good for the Soul!!! Here are a few of his songs. 🎙🎤🎼🎸🎷 We Got Tonight Hollywood Nights Against the Wind Main Street Her Strut Katmandu Still The Same Feel Like a Number Roll Me Away Like A Rock Rock and Roll Never Forgets
"with Autumn closing in." A person's whole life can be contained in those 4 words. That moment in this song is one of my favorite personal listening experiences in my life. I remember when this song came out and I heard it for the first time. That small quiet section before he launches into the final movement of the song, culminating in the realization his youth was ending and adulthood and the rest of his life was upon him, resonated with me. It's one of those music moments you don't forget.
Amen to that-gets me everytime. It’s closing in for sure these days. Like he’s saying in like a rock -20 years where’d it go. More like another 40- it sure flies!
I was honored to see Bob in concert back in the day in my hometown! Maybe 300 ppl there, it was a quant setting and i was sitting up front. Can you imagine!!!!! I love your videos and I love the fact you step out and listen to different music. I will tell you, once you hear Bob Seger you can not unhear him. I loved the look on your face and you were really getting into him!! Bob is truly a legend and thank you for your videos ❤
There are to many to list of his hits with the Silver Bullet Band. Hollywood Nights, You'll Accompany Me, Mainstreet, Against the Wind, just to name a few.
I'm 58 now, so when I was singing my heart out in my younger years, had no idea what night moves were....o the Night Moves!!!! LOL! You are my favorite reactor, thanks!!!!
I was in Highschool when Bob Seger was at his finest. Southern Rock, Swamp Rock, Motown, Funk, and Blues...the 70s were a beautiful blend of harmonies and base lines that worked perfectly together. The greatest artists knew that each style held value and their music reflects those influences. Seger's music is the perfect example. For some serious Funky Blues check out "Come to Poppa" ! You will love it!
My mom played him every Sunday when she cleaned. I knew every word of all of his songs from the time I was five. I played against the wind at her funeral.
You are correct. Bob Seger is the GD MAN. Michigan rock and roll at its finest! He is one of the few performers who is better live than in studio. Everything he does is amazing. One of my favorite is Tryin to Live My Life Without You.
Growing up in Michigan he's the home town boy who made it! He is loved by us, Bob has wrote so many songs that are Great. To put it this way 6 show's at the Palace sold out in 45 minutes.
The great Bob Seger.. I had everyone of his albums.. Night Moves and Turn the Page are my favorites but it doesn't matter which one you pick to listen to...you know it will be awesome...you can never go wrong with Bob Seger..
I lived this and all his hits out on the town riding around windows down wind blowing thru our hair singing along the 70's were magical and then slide into the 80's kept rite on trucking.
In ‘78, me and my best friend Ronnie would go out cruising. This 8 track is what always hit the stereo. Awesome times! Now, it just brings me back to a friend that passed too soon.
"LIKE A ROCK", Adogg. You might not be old enough for it to make you cry, but its done just that for so many of us, listening alone, and sobbing inside. Nobody can touch Bob for hitting the nostalgia vibe - NOBODY
Many other great Seger songs suggested here. One thing I haven't seen mentioned, I believe he has one of the best voices for rock and roll, it just sounds right!
You MUST LISTEN to "Roll Me Away" next!!!!!!!! I am 22 years old but I've been a Bob Seger fan since I was 13. When I was 15 I met his entire Silver Bullet Band backstage as I live very close to him and I'm friends with his housekeeper! Bob is such a humble, talented and (still) underrated singer/songwriter! "Roll Me Away" will pull you into some of his best and most intense songwriting ever, trust me! If a 13 year old girl in 2013 was drawn to it, you will be too without a doubt! Enjoy! :)
This is my all time favorite song. Heard it a million times and it STILL affects me. He talks about the summertime of his life, then wakes up and autumn is closing in. Iconic
An era of music that we all related too. Much simpler times. No phones no interruptions just a cool summer night with a couple friends hanging out with the windows down sharing a six pack listening to bob.
Some Day Lady You'll Accompany Me, Like a Rock, Fire Lake, Main Street, Still the Same, Old Time Rock and Roll and the list goes on and on. Love Bob's music. His voice is unique. That gritty sound stirs the soul.
First rock concert at the age of 17, blown away. This now older lady has been a fan ever since. He's such a great story teller. This is a favorite. Continue on your musical journey, so much more for you to explore.
Thanks, Da Real - this is actually my favorite song by Bob S. -- so evocative - that slow part -- "I woke last night to the sound of thunder... how far off ... with autumn closin' in..." - hope you continue with him!
Bob spent a LOT of Time in tiny Sheffield Alabama soaking up that Southern mix of Soul, rock and country that could only happen in Muscle Shoals Alabama. It was an AMAZING 10 YEAR RUN THAT produced SO MUCH great music! Bob And David Hood are the only ones remaining from that Glorious time.
Bob Seger has likely 2 of the best live albums ever released; Live Bullet and Nine Tonight. Both got TONS of radio airplay, with the live versions of the songs getting way more airplay than the original studio versions. I've seen him once in concert, 1986 at the Fabulous Forum in Inglewood (Los Angeles), CA. Just Bob and his Silver Bullet Band up on stage. He didn't need laser lights and smoke to put on an excellent show! Just great musicianship!
My all time fav performer and now my all time fav reactor. Nice job sir. Turn the page, Famous final scene, Like a Rock and Shame on the moon are some of his most epic hits. Top 10 are Night Moves, Mainstreet, Brave Strangers, Against the wind, Firelake and many others. Let’s hear them all together!
PLEASE try Bob Seger's "Roll Me Away," my favorite (you'll want to take a road trip afterward..) Also, his "Mainstreet." You can't go wrong with anything by Bob Seger. Oh yeah, also, his "Against the Wind"!!
Seger is a legend, saw him once, wish I'd have seen him more. Always been one of my favorite artists. First guitar chord book I bought when I was 13 was Seger and the second was the Eagles. Down on Main Street has always been one of my favorite and Against the Wind.
There is a young man named Charley Crockett who has several songs out and he's just great. Three of his song that I think are just awesome are Jamestown Ferry, Good Time Charlie's Got the Blues, and That's How I Got to Memphis. You won't be disappointed, he is phenomenal!!
I’m loving hearing this song again . I was in high school and I remember first hearing this and felt like I’d never heard anything like this song before .
When I was a teenager I really liked this song since then I've went through life and lost both parents and went through a couple of marriages and life has a way of chewing a man up and spitting him out thank God I've made it to 52 years old and the woman of my life that I thank God for everyday this song really really flashes my life before my eyes maybe the greatest reflection song of all time. God bless
It's not the biggest hit, it's the greatest song ever written. Everything from the chords, the strumming pattern, to the lyrics, it's just a masterpiece
Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band! Against the Wind is my fav, but he has so many great songs. Working man music. I know all his songs by ❤️ since my sister used to play his album on the record player over and over.
Bob Seger has so many hit songs and albums, it's crazy. This man is an icon of Rock music. That isn't an overstatement at all.
Agreed times a thousand.
Segers a Rock and Roll legend literally!
Check out MAIN STREET by him. Also, LIKE A ROCK. He had a boatload of hits, but those two are classics.
Shit, I just got the urge to go buy myself a Chevy. Lol
"You'll Accompany Me" and "Roll Me Away" are also fabulous!
YES YES YES
You can't go wrong with any song on the greatest hits CD.
Night Moves always been my #1 Bob Seger! 💯
Against The Wind may be his biggest hit. Not sure. Basically everything he does is awesome. Like a Rock is another great one
There are so many good ones, as you said. I like “Still The Same” for both the story and the lower register piano-gasm.
Actually his biggest hit chart wise was the song from Beverly Hills Cop 2, Shakedown.
That entire album is killer Night Moves is my favorite
Old Time Rock & Roll is one of my faves
I’ve come to the conclusion that you were born in the wrong generation. It’s hard to believe how old people my age are! Still lovin Bob 👵🏼☮️🌻😎
This is my favorite Seger song. The Nine Tonight version of Old Time Rock n Roll is a close second.
even people who dont know the music from back then should have been there, especially them, I watch a lot of reacts of all sorts, younger folks know it is good once they hear it, is Beautiful!
I believe he is now “retired”. Was a concert in Portland OR a year or so ago, and it was billed as his last concert.
Yes he is retired I am 51 but grew up with older sisters and brother I love all of this saw Bob a few times my favorite is soringsteen with seeing him at least 80 to 90 times bit 50s through the 80s I love

I also remember “with autumn closing in” but at that time I was so much younger. Now at an older age oh what phrase means!
Amen to that-gets me everytime. It’s closing in for sure these days. Like he’s saying in like a rock -20 years where’d it go. More like another 40- it sure flies!

Does he reminisce about the days of old?
He calls me Lady

I agree
I saw Seger live 8 times. One of the best. Always a great concert.
Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band are the epitome of what a Rock-N-Roll band should aspire to. They had it all.
Bob Seger is an amazing musician and storyteller with his songs. One of the best to come from MI.
Segers got Nugent and Cooper beat as far as I'm concerned!
Old school music has the best lyrics and singing ever.
The Late, Great Barry Beckett took Bob to Nashville after Muscle Shoals Sound began to slip.
In ‘78, me and my best friend Ronnie would go out cruising. This 8 track is what always hit the stereo. Awesome times! Now, it just brings me back to a friend that passed too soon.
