So reminiscent of those magical more carefree times in our youth. An amazing rock/soulful voice accompanied by stunning piano, organ, percussion and guitar... Thanks for watching! 🥰
When this song came out I was in my teens.....now, the middle acoustic section talks about "Autumn closing in" and it hits me hard as I am getting older. Some great Deeetroit rock and roll. Bob is a legend in Michigan.
Timeless Seager. As timeless as the memories we all share and can so so relate to. Next up "Turn the Page". Another all-time classic from Bob Seger and the classic Live Bullet album. 👍
Nothing like a nice summer night cruise in my 1966 Chevy impala convertible listening to this song back in 1976. Thank you again for some more great memories ❤❤❤
Hello Brandon, hope you're having a nice evening! This is my favorite Bob Seger song as well. I didn't know it was his favorite but I can see why. As you said, it is personal and I might be wrong but I think this was his first big hit. He has an amazing voice but he is also an incredible songwriter. There are many songs by him that I think you would enjoy-Like A Rock, Hollywood Nights, Mainstreet, Against The Wind-to name a few. By the way, it is awesome that you take the time to mention all the musicians on each tune-they all play a huge part!
Hi there. Thank you, pretty relaxed now after a long day's work. Hope yours is/was good too! I will add those to the list. I love acknowledging each singer/player. Helps me get to know the band better little by little, and they are all usually worthy of much praise and recognition. Good night!
Another great new artist! I’ve liked Bob Seger for years. Night Moves is a great song! A couple other favorites of mine are “Mainstreet” and “Turn the Page”.
Kind of a last minute addition. He was never on my list, but apparently he was a victim of a death hoax last week, so I figured I should celebrate him while he's with us! I will add your suggs to my list!
Back in the 70’s, saw Bob Seger open for KISS with Ted Nugent at the Anaheim Stadium!! Soooo good! Another one of my favorite Seger songs is RAMBLIN’ GAMBLIN’ MAN! Recently featured in the popular Tarantino film “Once Upon A Tine In Hollywood. Thanks for the reaction!
Bob is a goldmine, no bad songs, most very good/great/masterpiece( Night Moves obviously a masterpiece) . A great storyteller(I understate here), excellent musically, his voice is somehow both gritty and smooth at once, unique. A few suggestions: Turn The Page Hollywood Nights Katmandu Still The Same
Absolutely Katmandu!! But only if it's the live version from the Live Bullet album. It kicks major ass. The studio version is a snooze-fest by comparison.
My introduction to Seger. Tenth grade. Didn't have any girlfriend (firm points or otherwise) to practice my night moves with, but we all loved the song.
One of Seger's best, but he has no bad songs. I can say that because when I was in marching band in junior high and high school in the mid to late 80s we played his "Old Time Rock And Roll" about 11 million times and I still like that song. This song was a rock radio staple all through the 80s. Then I kinda forgot about it for about 20 years until it was featured on Los Santos Rock Radio in GTA V, along with Seger's "Hollywood Nights".
Ah, my favorite of his songs, but he has so many wonderful ones! One of the best “storytellers” of the singer/songwriters. “Soulful with gravel” is indeed the best way to describe his voice….Please checkout more of his work…..
Great reaction Brandon! Seger is an amazing story teller. Makes you feel as if you experienced what he's singing about. HIGHLY suggest the Live Bullet version of Turn The Page, my #1 Seger track, but he has SO many wonderful songs. Keep it up. Cheers!
I got to see him at my high school in 69 and he put on a great show. He played East Side Story his first record from 66 released in only 3 cities and was number one in each city he played heavy music from 68 and 2+2 is on my mind from 69 his protest song about nam . I love those and like a rock and roll me away! Love your work keep it up
Yes, I know the name. And of course I have heard Old Time Rock and Roll lots of times on the radio. The only other song I know is We've Got Tonight, which I LOVE....
Great video as always, Brandon! Bob Seger is a great artist, and this is one of the best songs to select. This is the epitome of headphone music-the keys with the acoustic guitar in this track are utterly fantastic! Until next time, my musical brotha! ✌🏻
Thanks Brandon, I so love Bob Seger, really brings back so many memories... I would have to say there is no "bad" song of Bob's, so many classic and memorable songs, but my favorite has to be "Come to Poppa", not very well known or popular but I love the beat!! Blessings.
This song brings back memories for me. In particular when this came out, I was 18 and living in Nebraska and at the time the drinking age was 19, so a buddy and I hooked up with a couple of chicks and drove down to Kansas (In a Chevy van) where the drinking age was 18. On the way there we were playing this album. This song so worked perfectly.😎🎸👌
So reminiscent of those magical more carefree times in our youth. An amazing rock/soulful voice accompanied by stunning piano, organ, percussion and guitar... Thanks for watching! 🥰
Hi Brandon. There are no bad Seger songs.. Gorgeous and the older you get, the more relevant it feels.
Easy to believe that! He will definitely be back on the channel. Thanks for being first today!! 🥇
Ain't that the truth

Brandon, definitely recommend one of his biggest singles, "Mainstreet"!! A haunting guitar line, definitely a "town without pity" vibe!
Timeless Seager. As timeless as the memories we all share and can so so relate to. Next up "Turn the Page". Another all-time classic from Bob Seger and the classic Live Bullet album. 👍

Absolutely no bad songs from Bob.
No surprise there! Thanks!
His official video for 'Like A Rock' is really something special.
Adding your vote, thanks for stopping by!
It is my favorite of Bob's songs as well.
"I woke last night to the sound of thunder...how far off I sat and wondered"
Such a cathartic song for him no doubt!
Thanks for watching!

I have a hard time believing you never heard this song….it’s on the radio constantly!
Don't recall any of it. If it was on my radio station, I wasn't paying attention to it!

Many Bob Seger hit songs await you. Among my favorites is "Fire Lake" from his live 9 Tonight album. A great road trip song. Enjoy!
