That’d for the video! Same issue on my older Decoy 29. Didn’t solve initially, but then also cleaned the other frame pivot (one below the shock) and problem solved!! Went ahead and cleaned/re-greased all the pivots after that!
Clean, lube the lower and upper main PVT axles and lock tight the pinch bolts every month. It only takes a few mins and is the best preventative maintenance for a reliable EMTB. I feel, because of the extra heat and weight of the ebike axle grease seems to deteriorate very fast leading to binding and/or loosening axels. If you allow the excels to bind or loosen the nock on effect is fast wearing of the DU bushing and/ or the shock eyelet bushings.
Hey. Great vids. Im looking forward to buy the same bike. I read a lot about the öhlins fork. A few say the fork is hard to adjust.what would you say about that an what about your overall thoughts about the öhlins set up? Thanks . Kind regards
I think people’s impressions of suspension setup are not something you can apply to your own situation very well. How you ride, and how well you can judge suspension is so variable from person to person and those that are probably best equipped to judge suspension performance are such good riders that their impressions do not apply to most of us. All that being said, I am very happy with the stock setup of the Ohlins but I do feel they are at their best when you are more aggressive. I also find they are easy to adjust but different than Fox and Rockshox because of the two air chambers. But because of this you don’t need to fool around with volume spacers. Good luck, Ohlins makes a great product.
@@roadlesstraveledtruckee I just picked up the spectral CFR. Should arrive on Tuesday, and am hoping it’s killer. I’m a little concerned about the ep801, but the 900 wh battery is key for the climbing around here
Excellent choice! 900 Whr battery is a must for longer rides and climbs especially with the 801 which has more power. You will love that motor and that bike.
@@roadlesstraveledtruckee oh man that’s awesome to hear. I can’t wait to get it out on the trails. Thanks for your videos, they helped seal the deal on the Canyon.
I hit up YT and never got a response. This instantly resolved my problem. Thank you so much for posting!
You’re welcome, I’m so glad it helped!
I bought the Santa Cruz bullit yesterday its amazing
Nice!

@@ericwright5673 Same, both pivot points eventually made the same noise. Thanks for the note and for watching!

This worked great for me. Thanks!

@roadlesstraveledtruckee thanks 🙂
Did it work?
Yes, noise gone, should have made that clear.
Weird got it now
What happened to the canyon spectral?
I still have it, friends/family and I ride both. I’ll be posting a few videos on the bike shortly. Was that your question?
